The well-appointed spacious beach house is only a couple of minutes walk to the beach and a short drive to Schlitterbahn & Moody Gardens (8 miles), as well as Galveston's Historical Pleasure Pier (11 miles). Relax, bask in the sun and enjoy the rejuvenating sea breeze on one of 3 decks, including the rooftop deck with a beautiful view of the Bay. Whisk up a savory meal in the fully equipped kitchen or fire up the grill and take pleasure in dining together indoors or outdoors on the deck. Continue the entertainment by taking advantage of the free cable, WIFI, board games, books, etc. in the spacious living room. When you can tear yourself away from the comforts of the house to go down to the beach, beach gear is available for your use. Includes lawn chairs, sand toys, and a wagon to transport the gear. The recently renovated 4 bedroom and 4.5 bath house comfortably sleeps 16 people. Each bedroom comes with its own full bathroom. There are 2 master bedrooms with king size beds, with TV and cable box. The other two bedrooms each house 2 full and 2 twin bunkbeds, sleep total 6. Each have it own smart TV for your connivence (you will need your account to sign-in to each apps, i.e. Netflix, Hulu, Facebook, ect.....DON"T FOGET to Log-off once your leave). At the end of your day, come up and relax on our top deck to enjoy the breeze and stars at night.

Very nice house with great views of the water from the balcony. Enjoyed every morning on the balcony and walks to the beach. On suite bathroom for every room is the best when sharing with adults.

Our family had a wonderful time in Pirates Beach. The house was clean and large enough for all of us. The walk to the beach was easy and for those who couldn't walk, parking was available close to the entrance to the beach. Overall, it was a wonderful beach house and we hope to return next summer!

The house was great! Great location. Pretty far from Seawall and shops. But only a bock and 1/2 to the beach. Only complaint... those stairs! You have to be in good shape to climb up and down 32 stairs numerous times. I myself have fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis so it was really hard for me. But even those in shape and the teenage boys complained of their legs hurting. Be prepared to exercise! We had a wonderful time in anyway! Thank you for letting stay in your home!

The house has a great floor plan for families. The location to the beach was wonderful. The house looked and smelled clean, however, there were cockroaches which was a very unpleasant surprise. We would stay there again, but I would bring insect spray.

This is the second year we have stayed at this beach house. Our family travels from Chicago, San Antonio and Houston to spend a few days together and with 4 bedrooms and 4 baths, it is perfect for everyone. The house is well furnished with everything from furniture, great mattresses and plenty of kitchen utensils. The beach is a short walk away. You will want to spend some time in the mornings and sit on their covered balcony, eat breakfast and drink your tea or coffee. You are also relatively close to Galveston, so it is a short drive to restaurants and The Strand. We plan to stay there again next year.

The house was perfect for our group of 16. The kitchen is big enough to allow 3 cooks working, or a buffet, and was stocked with plenty of pots, pans, dishes, cutlery and general kitchen supplies like trash bags, dish soap and coffee filters. The living area accommodated all of us playing games and visiting. Loved the balcony for beach breezes and appreciated all the ceiling fans and good a/c in the Texas heat. The stairs were challenging for several of our seniors but we managed. We'd love to do it all again! Thanks for a great house for a big group at a reasonable price.

The layout is perfect for a big group. 1st floor has all the bedrooms. 2nd floor is huge and has plenty of space. Owner was quick With communication. Would highly recommend.

My family and close friends had a great time here. The home was well fitted to host a fun and relaxing beach getaway. We enjoyed the ample common area and bountiful decks so much. The ice maker was A+ for making cocktails to just staying hydrated to enjoy all this place offers.

We have been spending a week at Galveston beaches every summer with my husband’s siblings and their families for the past 10 years. We’ve seen a lot of good houses, but this is the best one we’ve found in a long time. It has great living space for meals and games and a huge fully stocked kitchen that makes it easy for more than one person to be cooking at a time. The bedrooms are all a good size and each one has its own bathroom, which makes it so convenient for each family to get cleaned up after coming back from the beach. The beach itself is just a short walk away, and we love that it’s a section where cars are not allowed to drive in the sand, making it feel safer to have little ones running around on the beach. It’s a lovely home and the owners were kind and attentive. We look forward to renting it again next summer!

We have used VRBO worldwide and it is always refreshing to find great value when renting. Everything worked out well with our stay and we will use this property again when we come back to Galveston. This property has a separate bathroom for each bedroom, all were updated and in working condition. Very nicely decorated and well maintained. Great balconies. Additionally, this property is a short walk to the beach and very close to downtown Galveston, the grocery store, eating places and the Strand. We give it a 5-star rating.

This house was more than we expected, the pictures did not do it full justice. It’s beautiful, very roomy, has an awesome kitchen and huge family room with a small bar that has an ice machine. Each room has its’ own bathroom inside the room and there is lots of dresser and closet space. The beds were very comfortable too! The outside decks were spacious and gave us a wonderful view of the ocean. No doubt, we will be back!

The house was perfect for our large family gathering after Christmas. We had 4 families with 6 kids. The rooms were perfect for the families with kids. The kitchen was well stocked with just about everything that you need to cook and enjoy spending time together. The weather was perfect and we loved that they had two wagons full of sand toys for the kids and the other to take chairs and towels down to the beach that is just a short walk away. Bring your own beach towels! Loved our stay and was just what we hoped it would be. Pictures and description are accurate!

Had a great trip here. Kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook it all. Pans are brand new, plenty of knives cutting boards, dishes. I love that they left lots of trash bags and paper towels. Rooms are all on second level, living area on the third level. There are no bathtubs, only showers. Someone said on a review the property was starting to show wear/aging. We did not think that at all. Everything was in great condition. Oh and there are a couple kid rails you can install on the top bunks for the little ones. I was stressing and brought my own, but didnt need to. The bunks are high-6ft! Thank you for a great stay!
