About this house rental
Come and join us at Cozy Red Camp, located in the heart of the PA Wilds, Elk County, Benezette PA. Beautiful wooded setting located along the Bennett Branch of the Sinnemahoning Creek. Plenty of space for outdoor activities. Sit by the fire pit, with built in grill, watch the wildlife that often stop by to visit including deer, elk and turkey. New 10/2021 we now have WIFI. 2 story home. Bedroom on ground level has queen bed and large walk-in closet. Recently remodeled full bath. Large living/dining room with table seating for 7. Fully stocked kitchen. Coffee pot, electric oven and pub table for 2. Upstairs features 1/2 bath, 3 single beds, NEW Queen bed, one double bed (also available, rollaway cot). Plenty of space for sleeping!

Very nice and got to see 26 elk right out back this morning 10/22/23

We have stayed three times at the Cozy Red Cabin. It is a great place with plenty of room for our group. They provide everything you need. Decor is perfect for the location. And wow! did we get a great performance from the elk! We heard bugling and antler fighting and saw about five males and 16 females in the back field. We did quite a few fun things in the area and at night got to relax and visit at the house and around a campfire.

Place was very nice with everything we needed. Saw a large bull elk twice in our yard. 4 grandsons had a great time ! Will visit again!

The camp was perfect, it has all the comforts and amenities you could want or need. We were 6 adults and had plenty of space, and the outside area was wonderful also. We enjoyed a campfire at night and a nice lighted covered area with table and chairs for outside meals or seating. The location was beautiful, a nice drive from Winslow Hill and the Elk viewing area and the visitors center.
Would stay again for sure.

Everything at the house was fantastic! Everything we needed was there. The area was beautiful to see. Seen elk both days we were there. Couldn’t of had a better weekend. Fantastic communication! Thank you for a wonderful weekend trip!

4 miles from the visitor center (and that's the place to be) - if you have ever stayed in a hunting cabin from1970's you will be at home. If you expecting a Hilton drop your expectations. we knew what to expect so, nothing surprised us. Easy check in - all info easy to follow. Your deep in the PA wilds so enjoy the woods

Great location for many activities near Benezette! Enjoyed a herd of Elk in the field in front of house! Note that parking is somewhat limited. Surprised to find carpeted master bath and cleaning/vacuuming/mopping requirement before checking out... Not modern but comfortable!

Relaxing
Our family loved this cabin... The kids loved playing outside. It was very quiet and relaxing.. Short distance to see the Elk. It was very homey and comfortable. Can’t wait to stay there again sometime.

Excellent Elk Getaway
We took a “Christmas in July” getaway to this red farmhouse. It was incredibly relaxing and worthwhile. Our kids enjoyed the porch swing, fires at night, and the elk that roamed the backyard in the morning. The adjacent porch was critical to our Christmas party as we could escape the sun, swing, and enjoy each other’s company. It was quiet and this trip is something I could see us doing again some day. ‘‘Tis the season to be jolly in July in Elk County!
