Aloha! Welcome to our suite at the Honua Kai Resort and Spa Unit 212 Hokulani Tower We do not charge a resort or parking fee. The quote listed is all in. We also have a 1 BR available in the same building one floor below. See VRBO # 1308715. One minute walk down the stairs. The Honua Kai is one of Maui's newer beach front resorts. It is located on the West side of the island on North Kaanapali Beach. It was built in 2009 and is situated on 43 acres of beautifully landscaped paradise. The Honua Kai has an infinity pool, hot tubs, lazy river, a kid's pool with a slide, and quiet pool for adults. There are 3 BBQ areas for your use. The well known Duke's Bar and Grill is located on the premises. It is a full service restaurant... enjoy happy hour with live music. The resort has beautiful open air lobbies with a Spa and newly expanded fitness center. Enjoy our spacious and well thought out 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom floor plan with a central living room, and large private lanai with seating for the whole family. Our suite is located on the south side of Hokulani tower. This floor plan has split bedrooms located off each side of the living room for privacy. The master bedroom has a King Bed and huge ensuite with his/her sinks, a stall shower and soaker tub. The Master BR opens onto the lanai. The Guest BR also has a king bed. The main bathroom has his/her sinks, a stall shower and soaker tub. Each bedroom has ample closet space. The living area has a comfortable queen sized pull out. The suite comes fully furnished with a contemporary furniture package, Bosch kitchen appliances, and Bosch insuite laundry. A custom NanaWall sliding door system (wall to wall & floor to ceiling) brings the outside in, creating a seamless experience between interior and exterior living space. There are 3 HD TV's, a 40" in each bedroom, and a 56" 4K Ultra HD in the living area. All TV's are smart with Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc. The Honua Kai resort has everything...the pools, beach, restaurants and shopping all within walking distance. The condo was perfectly suited for us: 2 couples traveling together. The property and grounds were well maintained. Would definitely like to stay here again when we return to West Maui.

Al was so responsive and the amenities of his home and the location were amazing. I think its the best vacation with kids or even for yourself. We did not want to go anywhere else and we saw turtles on the beach out front. It was a dreamy stay.

The unit was perfect! Nice view, great location within the resort. Al & Suzanne were very helpful and provided info before we realized we needed it. We really appreciated their tips and suggestions document - very helpful and added benefit to our time there. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms was ideal for family of four. Looking forward to our next visit to Maui!

Our family of 4 loved our stay at Al and Suzanne‘s place in Lahaina. The communications were all friendly, welcoming, clear, and thorough — making everything easy. The condo is lovely, with amenities on par with a first class luxury resort. You can’t beat sunsets on the beach right outside the door! We hope to return.

We stayed at Al and Suzanne's condo for 11 days with our 2 toddlers (ages 3 and 1) and had a fantastic time! The condo was well equipped with everything we need to cook for our family. It was very spacious and the layout worked great for our family (and would also work perfectly for 2 couples!). The view was even better in person than pictured! We ate several meals out on the balcony as a family. The pictures were extremely accurate. They even had a closet full of beach chairs, snorkeling gear, kids sand toys, boogie boards, and a cooler for beach fun! The resort was great too! The 4 pools and several hot tubs were great for variety. Duke's on the property was also fantastic! We'd definitely book this condo again!

Al and Suzanne were absolutely great hosts and the property was amazing and very clean. Great location just steps from beach and property had great amenities for us to use. Loved the pools, on site dining, exercise room, boardwalk path for morning walks, and towel service. Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay very much. Such a great trip!

Great quiet location in the complex with a surprisingly amazing ocean view.
Simple checking and check out process. Owners very easy to reach.

Our stay at this Honua Kai condo was fantastic! The location is perfect, with easy access to the beach and pool. The condo is fully stocked with everything you could need on your vacation, including beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, and even a wagon to help transport everything. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, providing us with plenty of recommendations and assisting with all requests. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a top-notch vacation rental in Maui.

Property was absolutely better than described- the view from the lanai was gorgeous- sunsets included. Our Hosts were very easy to communicate with. The condo had all the comforts of home and more! Pool and beach were easily accessible and so beautiful! Duke’s restaurant was delicious and laid back! Grocery and local food within walking distance! Snorkeling right off the beach was even better than our trip to Molikini! Highly recommend this property for families of any age!

We were walking distance to Airport Beach and saw a turtle and an octopus on our first day in the water!

This was our second trip to Honua Kai. Love this resort The property is great. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. The rooms offered lots of additional beach amenities (chairs, umbrellas, snorkel gear) that were great to have. The room was exactly as specified in the description.

The condo worked great for our family, it was clean and spacious. The condo was also stocked with anything you might need for trips to the beach. Al and Suzanne were great hosts. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Huge condo in a great location

Awesome stay
This place is awesome! Has everything we needed plus more. Full kitchen with everything you need, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, nice view from lanai, boogie boards, beach chairs, ice chest, pool noodles. Very impressed. Al was very responsive to our questions. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay!
This is our second time staying at Honua Kai and we absolutely loved Al’s unit! The unit is nice in the pictures but it is even better in person. The unit was spacious with a great floor plan. It felt like there were two primary suites both with a spacious bathroom with double sinks. The unit was also squeaky clean, bed were comfortable, all necessities were stocked including beach toys, boogie boards, beach chairs, and sun umbrella. Beach views from the lanai were the best! Al was super quick to respond with any questions we had.
Oh, beach out front was calm and beautiful with amazing sunsets! We did not snorkel at this location but we saw plenty of folks snorkeling. We’ll have to check it out next time. :)

Our Maui Trip
We have never used VRBO before and had heard some horror stories about it. That was not the case here. Al and Suzanne's unit is awesome! Very clean and the views from the balcony are fabulous! They are very easy to work with and the information that they gave us helped us find great restaurants in things to do! Our next trip, I will be contacting them again! The resort is beautiful! Duke's Restaurant is awesome!

Al and Susan are great hosts! The lanai was closed for part of our stay due to a building painting project that was beyond their control and Al and Susan were very forthright and accommodating to help us have a great stay.
