The ultimate in social distancing! Casual Cape's cape cod style home has four bedrooms and three full baths, and is perfect for your family vacation or reunion. Casual Cape sits on an acre of beautifully landscaped lawn dotted with shade trees. The lot provides a view of the lake, located across the street. Located on a private road on the east side of the island. Bedrooms Upstairs: 1 King bed with full bath 1 Queen Bed with full bath Bedrooms Downstairs 1 Full Bed 1 Bunk Room/ 4 twin beds 1 Fold Out Bed in Den Full bath Air conditioned Dining room, family room, living room and kitchen that is fully equipped with dishwasher, microwave and all pots and pans, dishes and utensils Screened porch off dining room Brick patio off family room with a gas grill Bed linens and towels supplied Satellite TV/DVD Beautifully landscaped large wooded lot with view of lake (across the street) Very quiet neighborhood. Sorry, no bachelor groups. No Saturday check ins or Check outs.

It was the right size and space for ages 2.5 to 70. Plenty of room for the kids to run and play, and for the adults to relax and catch up. Short walk to Lake Erie and hiking trails. The owner was helpful, and answered questions promptly.

Great , clean home on PIB which is hard to find. Quiet neighborhood and a perfect get away from the noise and craziness of downtown. Sleeps 6 adults perfectly and the owner is easy to work with and very responsive.

My family and I love to visit PIB we wanted to stay somewhere different to change from hotels. I found this amazing house that was perfect for everyone to have their own space. It was PERFECT. 4 Bedrooms and # bathrooms made it feel like home away from Home and no one had to wait or put up shower schedules. Very Clean!! Jill met us at the property and gave us the run down of the rules and asked us to use the bags she supplied for bedding and towels which was nice. We had a great time, used every room in the house for gathering or quiet time and the beds were comfy. Definitely hope its available with our next stay. Thank you Jill and Dave for opening your home to us and allowing my family and our friends to have a great place to stay during our visit.

Very quiet area a 1-mile walk from the Perry memorial. We really liked the proximity to 2 nature preserves (Massie and Scheef). Everything was clean and all appliances worked properly. Host was communicative and provided suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Plenty of space for yard games. Our family had a great time here.

The Casual Cape is a great property. There is plenty of room in this 4 bedroom home & there are 3 bathrooms which is very nice. We celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday with his adult children and really enjoyed barbecuing and having a nice sit down dinner in the nice sized dining room. The kitchen has everything needed to cook. Plenty of soap, toilet paper, & towels are supplied. The home is clean & Clorox wipes were suppled. This house looks just like the pictures. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The property is well maintained. The owners are very nice and very responsive. If you have any problems which we did not, they are located on the adjacent property directly behind so if you need anything they are right there. We really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this property. I would definitely stay here again. We have many great memories.

The layout of the house was perfect, with 3 bathrooms and a large kitchen table to gather and play games. Our only disappointment was that we could not use the washer and dryer and only had 1 set of towels per person for our 4 night stay.

We enjoyed our first stay on the island in this beautiful, clean,well furnished home. The check in process went smoothly. Jill was very helpful and gave us many tips on sights to see. Highly recommend Casual Cape.

After our sons wedding, we needed a little downtime and what better time when relatives you hadn't seen for over a year are at the wedding and you can all tack on a vacation together?! The Casual Cape property was perfect for us - it wasn't in all of the hubbub in town but super close to run up to in the golf carts we rented. The accommodations were clean and everything we needed in way of pots, pans, appliances, etc. was all there. Jill was great to work with, super responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Jill was a most gracious host. Her recomendations were spot on. I should have asked her more questions. For example, had I asked about swimming, I would have learned where to go to swim with the family. You couldn't book with a more accommodating couple.

Our stay was amazing on the island. This home was spacious for the 8 of us to each have our own space but also a spot for us to have coffee in the morning and reminisce about the night before. Jill was awesome to work with and very accommodating. We already talked about renting the house again for our yearly trip. This house is worth every penny and was nice to come back to a quiet place for us oldies to relax after long day downtown.

Jill was a wonderful host, and answered all of my questions quickly. Her property was impeccably clean and cozy. The location was perfect...far enough out to be away from the craziness, but a quick golf cart ride to anything you need. We will definitely be back!

The casual cape is a wonderful place to stay. Located, on a quite private road away from downtown with walking distance to hiking trails and the lake. The house was very clean, and has plenty of room to house lots of guests. The house also includes a large kitchen and multiple sitting rooms and areas to hangout with friends and family. Jill and Dave were wonderful to work with, Jill walked us through the house and offered us her recommendations for places to go and visit. We stayed for two weeks late in the island season, and we had no trouble finding things to do with the ability to walk to the lake or ride our bikes into town. We also had family stay with us for a few days during our visit. We rented a golf cart which, is really a great way to get around and tour the island. Should we make a trip back to the island we will definitely be staying at the casual cape again.

We had a great time, would like to have had some back yard time-grilling. Could use a couple blow up mattresses instead of full bed for adults.
