This is the best location on island. Sunset view was amazing. Nice and quiet. The furnishings of the apartment are worn out but there is everything you need and the place has a beautiful relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend.

The oceanfront view of this spot did not disappoint. I wish we could have stayed longer. The pool was also nice. Others staying in the complex seemed like a combination of regulars and tourists, everyone was friendly. This spot is also walking distance from some excellent food options, supermarket etc. Parking was easy every time. I would definitely come back.

This condo is located in an excellent location. Beach front, easy access to shopping, restaurants,highways. Instructions for checking in & out very clear. The condo itself is rundown, but all is serviceable. That was made clear when selecting it. AC works but is noisy when starting up. Beach here very shallow but ok for snorkeling. Bonus, There are sea turtles on this beach. Would stay here again.

This is a perfect low-key condo on the beach. It hasn't been updated in decades, but they are very clear about that up front, so if that doesn't bother you, you'll love it. There's tons of space compared to a hotel room at the same price, so you can spread out a little. The people were very nice to deal with. The beach is beautiful and the water is fairly calm, and Kihei is a nice little town with good food very close by.

Location couldn’t be better
The location was ideal. The patio overlooks the beach and we spent many morning having our coffee and enjoying the fantastic view. Easy walking distance to food and shops. The unit was as advertised a little dated which was fine but it needed a more in depth cleaning.

Amazing location. Property just as promised. Clean and comfortable. We ended up on the pull out couch to sleep to the sound of the ocean. Amazingly comfortable sofa sleeper!

Good budget rental
The listing is as indicated. The property is quite old and outdated as described. The proximity to the beach is very convenient. The views are great. The beach is very windy later in the day, so we watched the sunset from our lanai.

Beautiful grounds and wonderful pool and beach access. Loved being able to walk everywhere to shop and eat. The condo needs some love and a real thorough cleaning.

As already mentioned, the place is a bit dated, but well maintained. Unbelievable views! Bed is super comfy.
We didn't stay in the place much while we were in Keihei, and it was a short stay, but great location for food and shopping!

This place is super outdated and still stuck in the 70s but it’s all about location. Kihei is right there with all the shops and the beach is in walking distance. Sunsets come through the sliding glass door. There is no dishwasher but humans functioned before dishwashers and I didn’t mind washing the dishes. The bed was comfortable and the breeze was awesome! I would go back in a minute. If you can tolerate some 70s living and be right in the center of things while having a beach within 50 feet, then this is the place!! 5 stars all day from me!

The unit is comfortable, there were only two of us but you could maybe squeeze a child or two in, think the couch may fold out. The bed is comfortable, wasn’t too hot at night. Oven, fridge all worked fine. There were some child size snorkels and fins in the closet and some old beach chairs which we didn’t use, rented everything from boss frogs down the street.
Overall we really enjoyed the stay, breakfast on the balcony every morning looking at the ocean, that’s what you’re paying for, would stay here again without hesitation.

Nice view
We loved opening up the blinds and having a great ocean view from the condo. It was fun to be right next to a small beach (somewhat rocky in the water and tree twigs on the sand, but still fun). The condo itself was a little outdated, but they were very clear in letting us know that going in and gave us the option to cancel if we wanted. Overall, great experience!

Nice oceanfront condo in a great location.
Enjoyed our 5 night stay here. Condo was nice and clean, equipped with all necessary kitchen and bathroom supplies, steps from the soft sand beach, and comes with beautiful sunset views. Will definitely recommend to friends and stay here again.

Great little spot
Had a lovely time, unit is basic but comfortable by all means, new TV with casting abilities from a phone or device, comfy king size bed and soft linens.. Could do with a good cleaning though, bathroom especially, when paying a $110 cleaning fee one would expect the tub fixtures to not have a buildup of soap scum on them (hence the 4 stars).. But we would definitely stay here again, just expect to do a bit of cleaning prior to putting your feet up on the lanai..

Great place to stay and at a reasonable price
We love Hale O' Kiehi because of it's great location, right on the beach, and walking distance to restaurants groceries and Long's drugstore. The condo had all the required amenities and was clean and nice. Nice touch that condo mgmt provided some coffee and snack.

The View!!!
OMG the view! Day and night, beautiful! Our 10th anniversary was unforgettable. I did not want to leave the property. Pictures don't do it justice. Just like the picture but better, because you can walk right out onto the balcony into this picture. Rooms are just as pictured. Location, close to everything right around the corner. Groceries, restaurants, shopping! One suggestion...cover the bedroom window on the door. Morning sun comes in heating the room really fast.in August. It is 3rd floor and may not be best for older couples but We Will definately be back.

Perfect place for wedding stay
We chose this unit because we were getting married. This unit has a great view of the ocean and is located on the beach. We actually got married on the beach outside the complex. The unit was furnished with all the essentials for cooking. The unit is clean and quaint.The property managers were helpful and friendly. On Friday mornings they have a coffee meet and greet, and in the evening you can join in with John for a Conch Blowing ceremony This will always be on the top of the list of places to stay on Maui when we return again. Did I mention the view!!!

Beautiful property, and very clean
We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is close to restaurants and shopping, as well as a short drive upcountry.
Although very clean, the condo is quite dated, and the lanai chairs very uncomfortable.
We enjoyed watching the whales, and the sunsets were magical.
