About this cabin rental
Located in Sevier County, this attractive cabin for $316 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. ATTENTION! We only rent this cabin through VRBO.com, If someone tries to rent it to you anywhere else, (such as Craigslist) then it's a scam. We always wipe down and disinfect everything after each guest and change the water in the Hot tub. '1 of a Kind', a 1,200 square foot log cabin, is nestled snugly in the Smoky Mountains. The cabin's stairway is handcrafted from the Cedar trees that were harvested to build the cabin. You will enjoy total seclusion because this cabin is located at the very top of a private Mountain. From the two large wooden decks and the cozy balcony, you can watch the beautiful Sunrise and the Sunset. Cabin Layout: The first-floor level has the living room, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, the bedroom with a King size bed, a bathroom with a whirlpool tub and a 4-head custom-built tile shower. The bathroom is completely handicapped-accessible. Soak your aching muscles in the indoor jacuzzi whirlpool tub or the big, bubbling hot tub on your private deck while you enjoy the magnificent 360 degree views. Enjoy cooking up a memorable meal in the fully-equipped kitchen or on the handy charcoal barbecue grill outside. The cabin also features original paintings by artist Judy Doench The game room (upstairs level) is well furnished for your enjoyment with a fun pool table, numerous board games, and a futon. The second Bathroom, with its custom tile shower, is on this level. Other unique features '1 Of A Kind' offers are 3 sets of French Doors you can open to feel like you are right outside, a fun outdoor fire pit for roasting hot dogs or marshmallows and even a unique romantic indoor waterfall located in a corner of the living room. Our stay at this cabin was just what we needed! Quiet, peaceful, excellent views, especially looking out towards Pigeon Forge, which as the crow flies is roughly 5 or so miles from the hot tub. Will recommend and definitely will be coming back.

This cabin is amazing and beautiful! Very clean and cozy. My husband and I always come to the smokies for our anniversary every year. This is our first time at one of a kind. The views are breathtaking. Very private and quiet. The cabin has everything you need for the stay. Except for shampoo. Great hot tub. Beautiful large shower. The bed is very, very comfortable. Sunrises are amazing. The best cabin we have ever stayed in. We definitely will be staying again. John the host goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is great. Wonderful host.
Did a wonderful job with the cabin and furnishing it. We loved that we could take our fur baby! Great sunrises from the deck. Had our morning coffee on the upper deck every day.

We had the opportunity to stay at the one-of-a-kind cabin, for a weekend get away together. This is our first get away in our new relationship without the kids and we could not have asked for a better stay. Scenery is beautiful, and the cabin was even more beautiful, and perfectly described per the listing. We will definitely be making this a yearly trip now! Thanks for the opportunity to stay!

A lovely little secluded cabin in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. The views are absolutely breathtaking. We loved the seclusion of the cabin. My only regret was not booking more time here. We found everything we needed for a great little getaway.

From the very start the cabin was exactly is was in the pictures in the listing. Property around cabin was clean and kept neat. Inside the cabin was immaculate. Kitchen was well supplied with everything one would need to cook just about anything and there is an outside grill as well. As stated it is 100% secluded which is what I was wanting. I wasn’t disappointed. The sunrises and sunsets from the decks are awesome. I recommend this listing highly and will be returning.

Highly recommend, we had a nice stay. Thanks John! The cabin was as expected. Accurate description and photos, the reason I have selected this cabin was the views and the high level of privacy and I got what I was looking for. Some notes, I would like to mention for making the experience of other guests exceptional. Please take care of the small details, the cabin was clean but it needs a deep cleaning ( the game room table has many dead insects, spiderwebs on the front balcony) . The bed bear cover has a bad smell, I think it has been cleaned without proper drying, we didn’t use it because of the smell and the extra covers were not (fresh washed ) so we didn’t use them either. My recommendation is to use a white bedding sheets and provide extra covers washed and cleaned. The other details to feel like a 5 stars hotel is ( provide shampoo, shower gel and lotion, hair dryer as well)
The furniture goes well with the cabin vibes and the smokies, there are many pieces that shows how John is taking care of the details but some furniture need to be updated.
The couch upstairs is very old, there are no chairs on the upper balcony( you can provide foldable chairs) the kitchens pans are scratched and need replacing, the mugs plates are old as well. Overall great experience, highly recommended.

The cabin has a spectacular view and its well maintained. Perfect spot to get away from it all for a long weekend and enjoy the sights and sounds of nature. Property manager was a dream to communicate with and provided details for everything you had questions about. I highly recommend this property and would stay here again without any hesitation

Very Peaceful and Secluded! Loved the deck and enjoying the mountains!!! Enjoyed this temendously, great cabin, well stocked, handicap access on the first floor worked well for my wife. We will book here again if we ever get back to Tennessee! Hosts are great! Thank you so much!!! PS, the teen enjoyed it as well!!!

Everything was great, with one exception. One of the windows in the bedroom did not latch, essentially being too large by one inch above the lock (a bit of a safety concern for me). Otherwise, it was wonderful!

We had a little trouble finding it the first night because of my only criticism is that it isn’t marked very well. Besides that we thought it was an amazing trip! We were able to get in contact very easily and the house itself was beautiful and well kept!

We stayed in this cabin for a recent trip to the Smokies. For the most part, we liked it. No doubt about it, you are definitely paying for the views (see my list of pros and cons). I stay in a lot of rentals so was surprised by a few of the things that were lacking.

Cons
-no wifi (I didn't even think to check on this as it is just a standard everywhere I go! Not a huge deal for a cabin, but definitely surprising)
-there is a TV with DVD player, but zero DVDs in the cabin (who brings DVDs on vacation with them?). We couldn't stream anything as we relaxed in the evening because there was no wifi.
-one bar of soap was supplied, but no shampoo or anything else for the shower, so bring your own
-washer and dryer seemed fairly old and we had to run the dryer twice to dry our stuff. We had to do laundry because there were only 4 towels for a 3-night stay.
-ceiling fan light remote was on the fritz and the light turned on while we were sleeping, then I couldn't turn it off without turning the fan off too.
These were minor annoyances, but they added up. I feel that if this cabin had a few updates to the amenities it would definitely be 5 stars.

The views were beautiful! The cabin was very unique and as I admired all of the details inside I admired all of the creativity and skill of the builders. You will be truly amazed as we were. I put a bird ID app on my phone and in 10 minutes heard 14 different bird calls/songs! You won’t be disappointed if you choose One of a Kind cabin for your vacation!

This cabin sits on top of the mountain. You are alone even with houses somewhat close by. You cannot see any house around you except for the distant hill top and that is a very few. Turkeys are all around. Great stay. Definitely will stay again.
