We highly recommend this property! It’s beautifully decorated new and modern space within walking distance of the Inner Harbor, Empress Hotel and the Royal BC Museum. There are lots of shops and restaurants to choose from and none of our choices disappointed! We are definitely coming back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the condo, which had all that we needed. I highly recommend Rick's Fan Tan restaurant.

The location was perfect and walking distance to all activities. Getting to and from the ferry was a convenient bus ride just two blocks from the room. Air conditioning was a nice perk during the day but wasnt needed during the cool nights . We did run out of towels, facecloths and soap otherwise would have given 5 stars. A great stay in a great location

This is a terrific room in a terrific location. And Rick is a good and friendly owner. The only flaws (and I'm talking about them because people should know) are: 1. It doesn't have central A/C, so Rick has provided a portable air conditioner - which works great. (It was pretty warm when we were there.) The problem is that because of the type of window it vents through, there is always an opening at the top and bottom of the window. And that lets noise in - and it's a noisy area in front of the building. I don't think that'd be a problem in the seasons when you're not using air conditioning, because the dual pane windows would shut it out. 2. The other issue is that the area outside is lit very brightly, and the curtains are sheer, so it's not really ever dark in the room, even though it's on the 4th floor. More opaque curtains would help.

We had a great time in Victoria! Rick was great in accommodating us and allowing us to check in early! The location was perfect, within walking distance of everything we needed with great bars and restaurants right in the neighborhood!

It started with communication with the owners after we already booked the property which is borderline rude. After multiple attempts to get directions to the property all they shared is building number and said wait at the door. After we arrived at the building we had to wait for an hour for Rick to show up with the keys because there is no code and no place to pick up keys. We also were not warned about big and noisy new bridge constructions outside which will last for awhile. We forgot our backpack at the property and the owners refused to ship it back to us and we had to engage VRBO to force the owners to send it. Very disappointing experience.

Beautiful property in a walkable and secure location. The host is very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Everything you need is thoughtfully provided to make your visit pleasant.

The bridge being torn down was kind of annoying but no one should be sleeping in anyways !

My husband and I had a great stay in Victoria. The apartment is well furnished and stocked with everything you could need for your trip! As US citizens trying to avoid international cell phone bills - we were especially grateful for the wifi and landline phone that allowed us to make local calls. The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Victoria on foot - close to downtown, Chinatown and everywhere we wanted to go. Rick was a fantastic host and we appreciated his thorough communication. One small note - if you are looking for a quiet place in the city, this space might not be for you. The apartment is in a very lively part of town, and didn't quiet down until 2am. Not a problem if you want to enjoy the nightlife but, we were caught off guard on the first night when we went to bed early after traveling. Overall, we had a great experience and would also recommended checking out Rick's restaurant if your time allows!

Beautiful views. Watching boats, ships and plains as well as parliament all lit up at night. I didn't have a car and didn't need one as everything is walking distance. Rick was very friendly and met me at the front door. I would come back again.

Rick and Nancy have an amazing place. It's cozy, comfortable and has everything within walking distance. Our first of many stays to come!

We loved this outstanding new unit - very nicely decorated with high end finishing and all amenities Victoria is beautiful and has a great vibe Gorgeous lights at night on the Parliment building and Government St Felt very safe walking at night Nancy has the place meticulously clean and well supplied Enjoyed the balcony especially with the fireworks right next door Location is perfect and surprisingly quiet even though it is next to a bridge We loved it and will rebook Would have been a 5 star but had no parking space which is very limited for this heritage building. There is however parking right beside it $25 for 24 hours which isn't bad for downtown - you just have to budget for it Can walk to everything from this great place Thanks again Nancy We will see you again. This will be our go to place for Victoria!

Rick met us when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful with great advice. We were concerned about parking since it was not included in the rental, but parking is very available next to the unit. It was way cheaper to park in the lot than parking at our airport. Cost was only about $10 per day US money. The location is GREAT! You can walk all around town to great food spots (some we got from Rick) and it is very close to the ferry to Port Angeles which we took upon leaving. Great stay!
