heerlijk verblijf gehad in een mooie omgeving

Mooie locatie, vlak bij zee waar een boulevard is met lekkere restaurants en wat winkeltjes. Cecina is een half uurtje lopen of 10 min. met de auto Wij hadden een appartement, was schoon en ruim. Mooi klein zwembad met voldoende ligbedden( kussens hierin zou fijn zijn) Ontbijt gaat met formulieren die je invult waarop je aangeeft wat en hoeveel je wil, voor de prijs een goed ontbijt. Er is zoals wij wel dachten geen restaurant aanwezig. Om 19:30 sluit receptie en "bar" Neem of koop insectenspray er zitten veel muggen.

Het zou fijn zijn als er in de ligbedden aan zwembad kussens komen, deze zijn nl. vrij hard en helaas is er geen handdoekenservice, je kunt wel handdoeken halen en wisselen bij de receptie, maar hier zijn kosten aan verbonden. Dit geldt ook voor de handdoeken in het app. deze worden ook niet automatisch verwisseld.

Superb

Nice place, clean and kids friendly. Near to the beach, appx 10min walk. Poll located in the complex is available till 7 p.m., parking available in the complex too.

Best family hotel in Cecina

Super friendly staff, spotless clean apartment, all amenities included, nice private patio overlooking the pool (filled with salt water!), great location (steps to beach and Ole tapas bar), kids playground, indoor/outdoor bistro, outdoor gym... oh and excellent A/C units in every room!

Superb

We have spent two fantastic weeks in one of the Golden Apartments and we will definitely come back. Our apartment had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a kitchen and a very large terrace overlooking the pool. Speaking of the pool, it is heated (approx. 29-30°C degrees), there is a separate area for small children and there were always enough sunbeds and umbrellas available. Other highlights for us were the large children's playground, the private parking for each apartment, the very helpful staff and the very welcoming owners.

We would have given 10 points, if the kitchen had been equipped with a dishwasher. Washing up by hand can be very annoying during holidays and dishwashers also save a lot of water.

We stayed in room D4, ground floor, view on the swimming pool. The apartment is very comfortable for 2 persons. It is at ground floor. The kitchen has all one needs when most of the time you are around. The fridge is big. There is a microwave and dishes for 4. Only dish cloth was missing but we solved this problem buying kitchen paper. The apartment was very clean. There was no cleaning service during the stay but I think this is the "police" in case of a residence. The location is close to the beach, pineta, restaurants and small shops. The parking, reserved for each apt, is included. There is a bar opened until 22.00. Staff very friendly.

Good place for a weekend with family.

Good location, walking distance from the beach. Plus it has its own pool if you are tired of sunbathing. Our room was spacious and comfortable.

Overall very nice apartment complex in quiet location but still close to main attractions

All staff were friendly and very helpful. Everything is well organised. We had an apartment with two good sized bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. 10 minute walk to the main beach and restaurant area.

Bar is not open in the evening and no staff in reception after 7,30. Kitchen had just basic utensils

Nice modern hotel suitable for families with kids

The staff was max polite and helpful, the swimming pool was the best ever, no chlorine as a disinfectant and cleaned every evening. You could go underwater with your eyes open and no stinging feeling afterwards. The beds were super comfy with good quality mattresses, the bathtowels spotless. Short walking distance to public beach with free access. Aquapark in walking distance. Amusement park for kids when you just crossed the road. Many restaurants in close proximity. There was an option to rent bicycles at the site, ping pong table. Markets in the centre of marina on Wednesdays and Sundays. There was no public noise at nighttime which was great.

A bit longer walk to reach decently stocked supermarket and the very centre of marina. I haven't really come across accommodation assistants during our stay, there was no cleaning service on daily basis, haven't heard any knocks on the door. The bathtowels changed once during our stay only after our enquiries. A bit expensive regarding breakfast as kids wouldn't get discount. Breakfast could be included in the price of the stay.

Very very very disappointed.

Our stay at Golden Appartments was very disappointing, will never stay here again. On the day we arrived we could not park in the private parking spot when we arrived after a very long drive. The staff is very unprofessional and not helpful at all. The airconditioning broke down during our stay. The shower was very dangerous for kids as it suddenly changes to a very hot temperature. When we arrived we wanted to have dinner and some drinks in the restaurant / bar. Unfortunately there is no restaurant and bar anymore. They only serve breakfast. On the first day we decided to have breakfast. The choice of things for breakfast was very limited and the breakfast is very expensive. We where surprised with a big breakfast bill at check out and the stated price of 10 EUR p.p is not correct as we paid almost double. Last but not least there where very loud construction works during our stay.

really nice apartment with comfortable rooms, well equipped and nice facilities. lovely pool that was nice and quiet and very short walk to the beach and the restaurants. nice play area for the kids. nearby bouncy castle for small kids

A convenient apartment with parking in a newer hotel.

We booked an entire 1BR apartment in this new construction hotel. Very clean and modern. AC worked great. We liked having the balcony. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable with firm mattresses. We never tried the restaurant on site, but enjoyed the swimming pool. The hotel is a walking distance from the rugged beach, otherwise not much life around there in September.

We had an apartment on the pool side. Across the street there were stables, and beyond stables there seemed to be a shooting range, because on some days one could hear shots being fired into the evening. The kitchen could have been better equipped.

Very good, but could be better with just a little bit more attention to details.

Great breakfast, perfect location, clean and quite room, AC worked well

Almost no electric plugs in the entire room: had to unplug a lamp to recharge my phone, and that was not even close to the bed. Giving that the room was expensive I was expecting nicer furnishing and more attention to details. Bikes were not available on the morning we wanted to rent them.

New Hotel close to beach

- New and modern hotel with large rooms - Minibar is included and gets refilled each day - Close to the beach (lido discounts available) - Good parking system with dedicated parking spaces for each room

- Surrounding not really nice and noisy - Staff speaks only barely English - Walls are thin, as soon as the breakfast starts it is really noisy - Mattress and pillows are too hard

Great apartments to relax and enjoy the beach

Great size appartment with all amenities (kitchen, large bathroom, ...). The common area included a nice pool with sunbeds, as well as a game area (football table, kid playground, etc). The staff is very helpful and welcoming, and provides a lot of different services : each room comes with its own parking spot inside the property, you can ask to rent bikes, ... The beach is only a 10mn walk away, which is very convenient.

The hotel is not located directly in the town center so the neighborhood is not that exciting, mostly vacation homes, but it is not a problem if you're not looking to visit but rather relax and enjoy the pool/the beach.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment. Spacious, clean, good beds, silent airco. Great pool, super breakfast (try the omelette) and very friendly staff. No moquitos and free parking

Very comfortable stay close to Marina di Cecina sea shore

The residence is new with very spacious and well furnished rooms. Apartments are clean and well kept. Our apartment for 6 people had two bathrooms, which is a plus for large groups; showers were perfect. All apartments have a large balcony that can be used also for dining. Bicycles are available for rent at the reception.

Perfect stay!!

Perfect place to stay. Friendly staff, big and nice rooms, pool is relaxing and clean. Only a short walk to the beach. It has also a nice restaurant for breakfast and dinner.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are big and very nice. The pool is relaxing and clean. Only a short walk to the fantastic beach. All in all, a perfect place to stay.

The hotel is so new that not all kitchenery was in place! But going down to the reception for the missing intinary was probably worth it, før having a completly new and clean kitchen!
