Great view of Lake Blue Ridge, right on the water. Cozy cabin or house that met our expectations during our Christmas stay in Blue Ridge or Morganton Georgia.

Cabin was beautiful and big enough for our family. Unfortunately, the lake was way down, but the view was still very pretty. As with many cabins in the area, the road leading into the area is winding and narrow. Recommend that you make it for the first time in daylight.

We had a wonderful time on the lake and dock. The cabin was great and had most everything we needed. The parking is a little tight but we made it work.

The cabin location was good. About 30 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge. Very rustic interior, could use up dating, but comfortable. Nice lake view.

Overall I will say this trip was a plus. The cabin was as pictured. I do wish it had more sitting space in the main living room for a house with seven beds the couch area could have been bigger.
The view from the deck on the lake was gorgeous, the same with the view from the house balcony absolutely gorgeous. I loved the fact that the two bedrooms upstairs have their own balconies. Just be warned that the road to the house is one way so be on the lookout for other drivers coming from the opposite direction and the driveway to the house is steep. But none of these things would stop me from renting again I absolutely love the house

I knew as we drove through the neighborhood that this would be amazing. We had rented a pontoon and Bill was on point getting us GPS coordinates for the dock. Communication with Bill was fast and he was helpful. The cabin was clean and check-in was easy. We enjoyed almost all of the experience. It was difficult to enjoy the outside during the day because the cabin next door was remodeling and the property next door to that was building something that required a chainsaw. They started at 8 am and ended at 5 pm. There was no relaxing at the cabin during the day. We tried to use the hot tub but there were so many chemicals in it we couldn't stay in because the chemicals we causing us to cough. We tried adding more water and keeping it uncovered, but it didn't help. The last issue we ran into was the grill had not been cleaned in a while, so when we tried to grill, we had a large grease fire and had to finish our food in the kitchen. We were very comfortable in the evening and the beds made for good sleeping. We would stay there again, but we would make sure these things were addressed before booking.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Baer House. The location was great! Drive in was intimidating but we got used to it. Beautiful lake views. Can’t wait to return for a stay in the summer when we can enjoy the lake.

The bathrooms was the biggest disappointment. They were very small. You should check behind your cleaning people, we found popcorn on the floor upstairs when we got there. Everything else was good.

Perfect family or group getaway
This House was beautiful! It had everything we needed to enjoy our Holiday. We brought in the New Year with our adult children- and we truly enjoyed everything the home had to offer… easy lake access, hot tub, fires (inside and at the fire pit)… we also spent many hours on the deck admiring the view! This is the perfect home for a larger group or family to simply get away!

This is a beautiful property right on the lake. The house is spacious and has plenty of activities. The dock by the lake is so much fun for swimming. We will definitely return. The owner is very attentive to any needs.

Beautiful property
We had an absolute lovely stay at this cabin. It is a beautiful piece of property and very close to the marina (by boat) so great if you plan to rent a boat.
Our only complaint was about the cleanliness. It appears the vacuum needed to be switched because there were a lot of crumbs all over the floor and couch when we got there and when we found the vacuum it added to the mess instead of helping. Small hiccup that was more important for our group with young children crawling on the ground.
I say that not to deter you and emphasize that was our only hiccup. We would absolutely stay again, but hopeful it will be a little cleaner when we get there. Communication was exceptional.

The lake is the reason to be here. Sloping steps to a double deck .Great swimming clear water. The house has 3 or 4 car parking and sufficiently sleeps 10. .The house has dated interior-not the reason we were staying . We enjoyed it with 3 teens and 7 adults.

Property's lakeside setting was perfect for kayakers and fishermen. We spent a lot of our family time on the dock. Took away lots of nice memories.

Combination of Mountains and Lake Hard to Beat!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this Lake Blue Ridge Cabin! The cabin was in a great location, had lots of room, was clean, and the dock and party deck were awesome. Cool mornings, warm evenings and mountain breezes! We had a great time!

The view was amazing, it was kind of cold, we enjoyed the fireplace and there was plenty of wood .
The renting process was easy and would rent this cabin again.

Great getaway and beautiful sunsets
This house had a wonderful location, and the sunsets from the deck are fantastic. The house has a great floating dock and has a number of bedrooms where you can have privacy or join everyone else on the common areas. Great WiFi and entertainment options. Kids loved the football table. The house is a little old and dated, but is just what you need for a relaxing weekend away from it all, especially if you have kids!

This was an amazing family trip! The house was a perfect get away.

Great location
This property is not fancy, but we had a great time. We rented a boat and tube for a day and also enjoyed sun bathing on the dock. The hot tub was a nice way to relax at the end of the day. The town is small and it takes no less than 30 minutes to get anywhere. (Just as a side note)
