Cozy Downtown Cape May Condo. 2 bedrooms 2 1/2 baths. Conveniently located to the beach, shops, restaurants and more. Just 3 1/2 blocks to the beach and only one block from Washington Mall. Spend your Summer vacation days basking in the sun, splashing in the ocean, or watching the dolphins frolic. It is ideal for a group of friends, couples, or a small families. We welcome your dogs! This 2 bedroom condo is on the garden level of our Historic home (originally built in 1875). Lots of modern amenities like WiFi and Central Air Conditioning! You will have access to our shared driveway. Enough for parking your two cars. Just inside the front door is a welcoming Living room with tranquil colors, hardwood floors and high ceilings. Comfortable sofa bed and loveseat provide ample room for the whole family to sit and talk or watch a game on the flatscreen tv. Plus a small dining table seating for 4. Flat screen HDTV with expanded cable package for your use. Kitchen is well stocked with a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, washer/dryer and dishwasher. Lots of other amenities like a coffee maker, blender, toaster, dishes, silverware, glasses, pots and pans, etc. Master bedroom has a king bed, two dressers, a built in closet.and an en-suite bathroom (plus it's own entrance and exit). Second bedroom has a queen bed. **The second bedroom has a heavy curtain that divides it from the living room-- however it too has a private bath in order for privacy. Living room has a queen sofa bed. Sleeps 6. Gas grill and picnic table for your outdoor enjoyment located in the backyard towards the garage. Did we mention we welcome your dogs? We don't want to leave ours when we travel either. There is an addition $150 fee per dog (limit 2). Sorry no cats. Circa1875- Centrally located on quiet street in Historic District. Short stroll to beach, town, shopping, museums, amazing restaurants, and nightly entertainment. PET POLICY (Dogs only, Sorry- no cats): 2-dog maximum. Pet Rent is $150 extra per dog. Simple pet rules apply. Call for more info. * Bring blankets, sheets, linens and towels or arrange rental of them through Linen Ladies. *No family events of more than 12 attendees are allowed on premises per Cape May regulations. We enjoyed a weekend getaway in Cape May with this property as home base. It's so close to the Washington St. Mall and the beach that we barely moved our car except to drive out to Sunset Beach. The beds and sofas are comfortable and the furnishings are practical and fun. Everything we needed was provided in the kitchen. Would recommend for a couple or small group.

First off, the owners responded quickly to all of my e-mails and texts and they straightened out what appeared to be a vrbo issue with the reservation. They let us check in early which was greatly appreciated. You can’t beat this location, it’s perfect. However, This is not a place for couples. As stated in the description, there is a curtain that separates the 2nd (bedroom) from the living room. What it doesn’t say is that you need to walk thru this bedroom to get to the kitchen and the 1/2 bath! In addition, the 2nd full bath is directly off the living room so it is not a “private bathroom” for this bedroom. There were no closets in the 2nd bedroom so no place to hang your clothes. There was a dresser in there. So, not functional at all for 2 couples…. Zero privacy for the 2nd “bedroom”. If you have small kids….maybe not a problem. Kitchen is very old and the refrigerator hums like a truck. There were only 2 wine glasses and they didn’t match each other. Kitchen Amenities were limited.Could not get the shower to work until day 2. Owners did offer their help but it worked out.
The place definitely could use updating, decor, etc… but it was basically clean. Don’t want to be mean with this review, but the description needs to be more transparent.. I really did appreciate the fact that the owners responded to me within a very short time period.

The location of this property is great, we were able to walk to everything rather than drive. Im glad it was just my husband & I as the main AC was not working upon arrival & it was quite warm in the house. We informed the owner & he said he'd have someone come the next day but no one showed. The master bedroom ac did work so we mainly stayed in that room. I was a little shocked at how tight the kitchen was, I guess pictures can be decieving. Also, not sure if it was just that the people staying above us were extra loud or just thin walls but it sounded as if they were moving furniture around above us. That was a bit annoying when we were trying to sleep. Because of all of this we tried to go out as much as possible. Great location but cant say I'd stay here again.

Grear location, clean and comfy.

We had a couple of days of rain but made the best of it. Had four dinners alfresco, biked, ran, enjoyed the beach, got a massage, played mini golf and visited the arcade. Spent some money in the great Washington Mall stores, as well. Ate a lot of good food and spent time with family. It was a perfect week!

Very nice property. It was clean and well organized. The location was great and having off street parking was really nice.
The bedroom was spacious and the bathrooms were very nice.

Pros- Great location, easy to walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. Adequate space for a family of 5. Parking a huge plus!
Cons- Pet hair everywhere, not as clean as we would have liked. Also had to deal with humidity issues inside the apartment.

This apartment was perfect for spending our New Year's getaway in Cape May! The property was clean and cute, and in an ideal location for shopping and dining! The master bedroom was very big! The other "bedroom" was a decent size. The only drawback was it was only separated from the living room by curtains. For us, this was not a big deal at all. You also have to pass through to go into the kitchen. I guess it depends on how comfortable you are with the people you go on vacation with. For us, it was fine! Having 2 1/2 bathrooms was also great!

The perfect location and accommodations for our stay to enjoy the holidays in Cape May! The location is absolutely superb to help negate the cold winter wind as it’s a short walk into town! Our family. Would stay again in a heartbeat and the owners are very helpful! 10/10!

We stayed 2 nights in this Unit on Washington street. It was perfect! As far as Location, we were able to walk many places! Michael the owner was a pleasure to work with. Very attentive and answered my emails very efficiently! The unit was comfortable and the king bed in the master was really comfy!. I would definitely stay here again!

This rental could not be in a better place if it tried! Walking distance to the square and the beach. Great common space and the bedrooms are great sizes. Three bathrooms is convenient too. The owner is very responsive and kind. I drive a Chevy traverse and the pull through/ drive way is a little tight so I wouldn’t bring a big truck. However the space to park is plenty big! It was overall a great stay! I can not wait to go back!

Great location right off the mall was wonderful for the 3 of us who were able to work remotely and still enjoy Cape May. Never got in the car and was able to park our bikes safely.

Location was wonderful! Property was as advertised. Excellent communication with host. Good for a family that do not require a lot of privacy d/t how bedrooms were situated. Master bed a bit hard for my old bones.

Lovely! Rental was close to Washington Mall, lots of restaurants and the beach. We parked the car day one and didn’t use the car again until we were ready to drive home. We walked to the beach, shopped, dined out daily. Owners allow dogs! Henri Hudson loved the trips as well. Slice of Heaven!

The property was very close to the Washington Square, and at the same time very quiet. Loved it. Had a little hard time sleeping at night when the ceiling made noises from people walking around upstairs

We enjoyed our stay and were pleased that it was so close to shops and restaurants! We were there for a Coast Guard graduation and we were 6 mins to the base!

Three of us enjoyed this property over Easter weekend. It is spacious and clean. We loved the proximity to the mall and the beach. It was fun exploring the lesser travels streets in the neighborhood. The owner is super communicative and helpful. The only thing to consider is that the house is old and the noise from the upstairs guests can sometimes be heard.
