I knew I would like the location of this little place but it surpassed my expectations. The cottage sits right on the harbour and has a small balcony and a clear view of Signal Hill and the Narrows, through to the west end of town. It was enjoyable to watch ships, tugs and cruise vessels come and go at all hours. Sunsets over St John's were followed by pretty harbour lights. 2 good-sized bedrooms with nice decor and very comfortable queen beds! Part of the East Coast trail was right outside the door, and you can hike to Quidi Vidi or walk into downtown (1km). It was picturesque, peaceful, accessible, clean, stocked with tea and coffee, and a 1 min walk to the Battery Cafe, and 3 min walk to Zachary's! 20 min drive to Petty Harbour, 30 min to Obrien's Boat trips. I would stay for a month if I could.

We finished our 16 day visit to The Rock with 4 nights in this beautiful location. I could sit and watch the Harbour all day and indeed, we did do alot of watching! Everything was spot on, a definite return to place on our list. Thank you for making this spot a place to rent!

You can't go wrong with this cottage. It is in the harbour and close to everything. It was great watching the ships coming and going in the harbour.

House amazing parking. Yikes
The property was absolute amazing. What the renters need to know is that parking is truck. We were driving a one ton dually truck
If we could have been made aware of parking situation ahead of time we could have made other arrangements for a vehicle

Cozy Space in the Battery
Cozy and comfortable house in the heart of the Battery. Very well equipped! Amazing views of harbour and St.Johns. You can even can see a little bit of Cabot Tower on Signal Hill. Great parking. No complaints.

We loved our visit. We walked to everything in the downtown area. And up to signal hill. The home had everything you could want, was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The washer and dryer we so helpful. Checking in was a breeze. The view was great. I loved watching the boats. We loved our stay. Hope we can visit again.

Fantastic spot. We are a family of 4 and could not have asked for better. Roomy, clean, great location, walkable attractions (Signal Hill, simply gorgeous), fabulous view, and easy parking.

Welcoming home with all amenities on The Battery!!!!
We had 4 nights in this lovely home overlooking the St John’s harbour. From the moment we arrived we felt at home as the owners have thought of everything to make their guests feel comfortable. We were sad to leave and hope to be able to return...and stay longer.

Great area. Walk to downtown or hike up Signal Hill from your door. Cottage was roomy, clean and well equipped. Would love to stay there again.

Incredible location!!
We walked almost everywhere we needed or wanted to go. And we so enjoyed overlooking the harbor. The home was more than adequate. We were very comfortable and the place very well maintained. Highly recommend. Thanks to Rochelle for making these 2 Texans happy.

Not a better location in St. John’s
What a way to start our trip! To stay on Battery Road,sitting on the balcony looking down on the harbour will be a memory I will cherish always. The place was well laid out, very quiet, and had everything we needed. It was wonderful to have our own private driveway. The place was ready for us early

Our Second Time Staying Here
Everything was once again wonderful - location, amenities, and the view. We appreciated the coffee being provided (Tim’s!) and the laundry facilities. Loved looking out into the harbour. It was close to everything and yet far enough away to feel quiet at night.

Great cottage. Great location.
The cottage was neat and clean and well equipped. An easy walk to downtown and North Head Trail to Signal Hill. Loved watching all the activity on the docks.

We absolutely loved our ocean front cottage. It was clean, had everything we could every need & the view was stunning. It was a perfect home away from home and we were sad when we had to leave. The location was perfect too as it was walking distance to Signal Hill and a little further up was Quidi Vidi where the Brewery is and Mallards cottage. I’d highly recommend a visit. Walking distance too is the downtown. The fact that there was parking, a fully stocked kitchen, and a washer and dryer made our stay very comfortable. It was our first time to Nfld but not our last. When we come back we’ll definitely be staying here again.

Great location, the Harbour view was awesome, great viewing of harbour activity, well equipped and very comfortable. Great restaurants close by, lovely ambiance, would highly recommend this rental.
