About this cabin rental
Located in Blue River, this attractive cabin for $786 per night is a great option for your next break. If you are looking for a authentic cabin experience in Colorado but with new, high-end finishes in the bathrooms, kitchen and designer furniture, you found it! The Spruce Moose is a cabin with 4 bedrooms, a loft with a queen pull out bed and a bunk room kids love. This is a pet-free home so no dogs, cats and other non-human friends, please. We preserved its high mountain character (and a few rough edges) but worked with one of Denver's hottest interior designers to take the bathrooms, kitchen and living spaces up a notch. NICE FLOOR PLAN FOR GROUPS AND FAMILIES - The garden level area has two bedrooms, its own kitchen, living room, laundry, bathroom and shower. The main floor includes a living room, modern kitchen and comfortable eating area. The top floor of the home includes a cozy loft that acts as a third living room and/or TV area. The romantic master bedroom on the top floor has a gas fireplace and attached ensuite featuring Italian tile and extra large shower. GREAT LOCATION - You are nestled in the trees but just five minutes away from the ski lift and the heart of Breckenridge with all of its shops, restaurants, bars galleries and activities. The cabin is a short walk to the nearest bus stop. End the day sipping wine on one of the private patios. Moose, elk and deer are regular visitors in these woods so don't be surprised if one of the 'real locals' walks by! Hiking, biking, fishing and other activities all within walking distance. Modern amenities: smart TVs, high speed internet, 2 well- equipped kitchens, 2 laundry areas, wood stove in main living room, gas fireplace in master bedroom, stereo, grill, and two outdoor patio seating areas. The remodel was just completed and we are continuing to decorate. We'll post updated photos soon. BEDROOMS: Upper floor includes the master bedroom with King bed and ensuite Main floor features one bedroom with a queen bed and adjacent bathroom Garden level space has 2 bedrooms. One is another king sized bed and the other is the bunk room with natural-log bunk beds and another single bed. (Kids love this room!) Bonus: the top floor loft has a queen pull-out if needed.

Such a beautiful, well maintained property. Just a short drive from Breckenridge in lovely surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the cabin was fantastic. Clean, warm and everything was high quality! Highly recommend.

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming log cabin in the woods. It was well appointed, and the three living areas gave our family plenty of space to spread out. And yes, we even saw a moose while we were there! We would happily stay there again.

Perfect location, easy access, directly between Breckinridge and Quandary Peak Trailhead. Multiple living areas. Communication with Jim was effortless, he even took time to see if we needed anything halfway through our stay. Overall great cabin in the mountains.

We had an amazing time. Wish we had stayed longer. Cabin was lovely and worked perfectly for my family. My wife, our two kids (under 6) and I stayed on the lower floor, MIL and FIL stayed in the middle floor, and my BIL and SIL stayed on the top floor. Worked out perfectly.

This cabin had the perfect setup for our trip. The 3 separate living areas were just what we needed. The backyard is heavily treed making for a great spot for the grandkid “hammock village”. Far enough away from Breckinridge to get away from the busyness but close enough to get there quickly when we wanted.

Treasured Memory
We want to thank you so much for the most incredible week in Breckinridge with our two children, spouses and grandchildren! We can't tell you how much we loved your home and it was the perfect layout for our family! Also want you to know that you have furnished it so wonderfully! Didn't miss a thing the entire week! We all wished we could just move in permanently! We had gorgeous weather, hiked many trails, did fly fishing, white river rafting and kayaking! Truly a fun filled week! We even saw a deer, a bear and a female moose and two babies! Truly an amazing time! Will certainly recommend your home to friends! Thank you again for a lovely treasured memory!

Perfect for Couples & Families
Overall, I’d say our stay was great. The cabin is laid out really well, giving each group a separate space. We had 3 couples. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom away from each other.
The cabin is a perfect mix of close to town and away from it all. Uber was available easily. This saved us from the hassle of parking downtown.
The cabin was well stocked and spotless. (Not even dust in corners) Great linens & comfortable beds.
The only downside I could find with the cabin was the lack of TV’s. All 3 couples like to watch TV as they go to bed, and there are only 2 TVs in the entire house. 1 downstairs, and 1 small one upstairs in the loft. The Main floor (with the largest space, largest couch, largest kitchen) does not have a TV. None of the bedrooms had TVs. We were there Super Bowl weekend and it would have been nice to have a TV on the main level to watch the game and have easy access to the larger kitchen since we cooked.
Other than that, the rental was great for us. Next time, if we don’t stay downtown, we’d like to rent this cabin again.

We loved the cabin. I would have given it 5 stars if the central heat was working. We were so cold the first few days. We had to make a wood fire to help heat up the cabin. I would recommend a space heater for the upstairs bathroom.We loved the layout of the cabin and it worked very well for 3 families that went. I would stay there again.Thank you.

Beautiful property
We took our Texas family of 11 for a white Christmas in Breckinridge. The house was perfect for our large group. The house is set back from the road so it’s very quiet. The property is gorgeous. Plenty of parking which was a plus since we had 3 vehicles. Very short drive into Breckinridge and Frisco. There was a problem with the heating system, so I ended up calling the owner at 8:00 am on Christmas morning. He was so nice and apologized for the inconvenience. He had a repairman to the house within 35 minutes. The owners are fantastic. We loved our our Christmas vacation! Great memories!

Enjoyable stay
Had a good stay in late September - 3 families with small children. Inside was clean, well stocked, and in good condition. Owner was easy to work with and responsive to questions. Everybody enjoyed it, but we may look for something different next time we bring children. Some specific observations about staying with children:

The perfect setup for two families.
This house couldn't be better suited for 2 families. Our family of five was downstairs with 3 kids in the bunkroom and us in the downstairs master. The other family was upstairs. This house was rustic yet well maintained and stocked with everything we needed for a great Breckenridge vacation. More than that, if you ever needed anything, the owner's contact was a quick text or phone call away. We even saw a moose in the backyard one morning! We would definitely stay here again if possible and would recommend to our friends as well.

Great Space, Great Location
The Spruce Moose definitely lived up to the listing and pics. It's a large, clean cabin with separate living spaces that made it ideal for multiple families. The location was perfect being very convenient to Breckenridge and some great hiking. Owners were quick to answer questions. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful house with the perfect mix of a "cabin in the woods" feel with modern updates
This beautifully remodeled cabin was perfect for our group of nine. We cooked most of our evening meals ourselves and the extra refrigerator in the lower level was great to have. The beds were very comfortable, the new gas grill was great to use, and we enjoyed S'mores a couple of evenings at the fire pit.. It is a quick trip to Breckenridge, Frisco, and Lake Dillon. If we decide to vacation again in the Breckinridge area, our family would definitely consider staying here again.

We loved our stay at the cabin. Jim was so kind to accommodate us. Went out and bought a gumbo pot for us. Moved the TV into the living room for us. Above and beyond customer service! Wish we would’ve known all of the extra staples/supplies that were on hand. Wouldn’t have had to buy nearly as much. So generous! Will return!

Wonderful Vacation in Breckenridge with the perfect location!
Beautiful, updated cabin that was located just a few miles to Main Street in Breckenridge. Absolutely no complaints whatsoever about the cabin! It was very clean and fully stocked with everything in the kitchen you could need to cook a few meals, which we did during our stay. The cabin itself was very well maintained and looked exactly as the pictures portray. The layout of the cabin worked perfectly for us. The main floor living room / kitchen / dining room was very comfortable; my husband and I stayed on the top floor that had a sitting area for watching TV. Our daughter’s family stayed in the lower level that also had a kitchen, living ring room with TV, two bedrooms and bath. All the bed rooms were comfortable and clean. Overall, we would definitely stay at this location again.

Beautiful and perfectly stocked home with top notch furnishings, towels, etc. We had everything we needed and more, and Jim was so nice to help answer all of our questions promptly! The home has at least one bedroom and bathroom on all 3 floors so each each couple/family in our group could have their privacy! Perfect distance from Breck - just a 5 min drive to the gondola/Main street, yet just far enough away to feel quiet and secluded!
