Pros- This apartment is fantastic, and I will definitely hope to book it again the next time I'm in Stirling!
Spacious and comfortable, 4 of us stayed there and we had plenty of room to have our local friends over for some takeout dinner. Beautifully decorated, a nice blend of modern and classic styles. The lovely decor felt so soothing and welcoming. I could very happily live here! Absolutely charming.
Our flight was delayed 7 hours so we arrived middle of the night, very thankful for the lockbox for keys.
Very quiet and safe neighborhood. If you go out the door and turn left, easy walk to Stirling Bridge, with a nice view of Wallace Monument behind it. Stirling Castle is close but it's up VERY steep hills.
Traveling with my 92 year old grandfather, 3 of us disabled to some extent, so we really needed a place that didn't require climbing stairs. Wallace apartment was perfect- a couple small stairs to get in the building, so not wheelchair friendly, but for our disability needs it was perfect. The rooms are spacious but the hallway layout is cramped, especially a decorative table right at the turn into the lounge, so a little tricky with a walker or rollator, but still excellent. The most spacious and comfortable place we stayed in Scotland and England, really lovely.
Fantastic location, on the edge of town so you don't have to drive all through the city to get there. The kitchen is well designed. Right across the street from Tesco grocery store. Side note for Americans- groceries are super cheap versus what we're used to, but restaurants are very expensive. We enjoyed the easy option to grab groceries and make some of our own meals. Also Tesco has a great gluten-free section, I stocked up on goodies to last our whole trip around Scotland!
But also check out Mediterranéa restaurant a couple blocks away. Heavenly delicious.
Cons- There's honestly nothing I can seriously complain about.
A couple very minor things. The back garden area is lovely and peaceful, but the lock on the door is odd and difficult.
We only noticed on leaving that there are separate trash bins outside for recycling, but there was only one trash can inside, so I'm not sure how you're supposed to keep the recyclables separate until you take it outside?
Take VERY seriously the local parking rules. The parking in the entire block the apartment is on is locals with permits only, other than nights and weekends. It's a very short and level walk to the next block, where there's a machine to pay and display your parking ticket, or there's an app. (The app is iffy, best to have change to pay the meter.) Tons of available parking on that block.
The morning we were leaving we pulled down just to quickly load up our car, there were at least twenty empty spots. The moment the clock turned 8:45 there were two traffic cops ready to write us a ticket. We respectfully explained that we were just loading up to leave, including disability equipment, and also we had a disability parking badge and a letter from the Stirling Council stating we could park anywhere with our foreign disabled parking badge, was that ok? They begrudgingly said it was ok, but they stayed and watched us, which made me nervous so I kept dropping things, which made it take longer, and every minute they kept repeating "You can't be parked here." "We have a disabled badge and we're just loading up to leave, is that ok?" "Yes that's fine, but you can't be parked here." ad infinitum.
This is obviously not a problem with the apartment, but just be aware, and prepare to load and move your vehicle before 8:45am.

central base to explore Stirling
bit on the cramped side for a family. strange layout the toilet being off the kitchen.

The apartment was quite spacious and well equipped.
Parking was on the street, subject to availability. It needs to be paid with coins. Also, the apartment is quite noisy, both from noises outside as you sleep on the street side, as well as from the apartment above.

This is a very nice apartment, recently refurbished and kept very well. The private deck area is great and quiet, the location is perfect for exploring that area of Scotland.
Nothing really.

Good location and really well equipped.
Large rooms so plenty of space for the whole family.
High standard of furnishing.
Lovely to find a range of items to make the stay comfortable e.g hairdryer, coffee etc
Excellent communication throughout the booking process.
The only minor points were the dining room chairs felt wobbly.
Also, fully closing curtains in the main bedroom as well as the blinds would be helpful in the summer months.

This apartment was very clean. Tasteful decor and everything you'd need for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of towels available but we had brought our own. There is a shower room with large shower cubicle, and a smaller WC in the hall. Great location for the Old Town Jail/Stirling Castle/Wallace Monument/Bannockburn Centre. There's also a big Tesco across from the apartment. The owner was lovely & got in contact to make sure we had the instructions for the key etc. Thank you 🙂
Couple of small things were in need of attention. The bin pedal was broken when we arrived but my husband fixed that. Some chairs in the dining table were quite loose but we didn't have tools to fix them. Some WD40 on the door hinges would be helpful. These aren't huge issues of course and wouldn't put us off another stay.

Great location, lots of extra towels and bedding in apartment. Everything you need in kitchen for a comfortable stay.
Apartment could do with a deep clean, huge cobwebs in living room above curtains and under dining table lots of dust. Bathrooms and kitchen were clean though. Would not recommend apartment to family with small toddlers who are on the move as lots of objects around that could be broken. Lots of glass/shiny furniture. Our 3 year old was fine but younger ones may not.

The property was clean to a very high standard. Clear instructions on how to enter the property and also how to work the heating. Plenty clean towels for everyone on our stay. The location was good due to having a Tesco only a stone throw away and to various other shops.
The only thing we never liked was the lack of comfortable seating in the living room due to only having a 2 seater sofa and a chair when we were trying to chill out together which meant some of us had to sit on dining chairs which become uncomfortable quickly.
