We love Rockaway Beach and this condo has a great location - right on the beach - with phenomenal views. The condo building is starting to show wear and tear with inadequate maintenance (eg rusted sprinkler pipes, elevators don't work, hot tub lids water logged, etc). In the condo, a patch of drywall was removed from the ceiling looking like a leak that needed fixing. The condo furniture also was showing wear/age -- the armchair is broken and a speaker system not working. We have stayed at these condos several times before and each time they are z little worse for wear, but the space is comfortable, the location fantastic, and views/beach access can't be beat.

Love the property and excited to go back ASAP. Ideally located, and a perfect retreat to relax and watch the waves crash from the living room. A new favorite for our family!

Beautiful, beautiful place to stay. Right on the beach. We were on the 3rd floor and had about 36 steps but no problem for this 64 year old. Ceiling to floor windows gave an awesome view of beach and ocean. Perfect for us, our grandson and dog.

The condo is very comfortable, updated kitchen, and stunning views. Slept well and regrouped from the bustle of life. The door was very hard to unlock and created several challenges. The property manager was patient and helpful and showed up quickly to help me. It would have been nice to know about the sticky lock before I had to call for help, but did not diminish my stay. Will return.

Beautiful place. Amazing view. Clean. Comfortable beds. Large Showers. Very grateful to be able to stay here. Been visiting this town for decades, but this home, by leaps and bounds, was by far the best place we have ever stayed. Again, thank you.

The view really can't be beat and you feel like you're "at the beach" even when you're inside making dinner because of it. The kitchen has everything you'd need and the whole place was really clean. Just a couple things that, if improved, would make it 5 stars! Number one, the lighting is really dark. It's hard to see your dinner it's so dark and the few lamps around just aren't enough. Also, the fuse blew out anytime we tried to use the bathroom light and the fan at the same time, along with some flickering from the other lights so something is going on there. The thermostat was broken but we told Vacasa and they said they were going to fix it. We've stayed in this complex before and there are just those things (funny electrical things and not a lot of hot water), but truly, they're not a big deal and the place itself is so sweet and the view is the best ever.

Only compliant is how late check in is and how early check out is. Everything was prefect once we were there.

The place is nice, we have stayed there multiple times before but this time the heat was broken and we were not informed early even with them knowing. They provided space heaters but still not close to ideal.

The view is absolutely gorgeous! However there was a large portion of the ceiling missing over the dining room table with multiple holes in it. When Vacasa texted to see how the check in went I reported this and sent a picture. There was no follow up. In addition, I sent an email asking for a response. Still nothing. We paid a lot of money for this rental and expected it to be in wonderful condition. It was NOT! In addition , master bedroom furniture was not in great condition. I question if I had a major issue during my stay would anyone respond to an email/call/text?? Poor management company!

Info. Oven door handle loose and main door needs fixed. Screws coming out where latch hits.

The view and proximity to the beach is nothing less than perfect. The floor to ceiling windows that opened, allowed us to feel that we were bringing the beach to us. With a short path over a small dune we were on the beautiful beach and could walk forever, with not many people around. The sunsets were spectacular! The home had the essentials for cooking. With a few improvements like better bath towels and bath essentials and bed pillows, I could give the home five stars.

We had a wonderful time staying in this clean, quiet, and well-stocked condo. The views and access to the beach are hard to miss. We loved every minute of our time there. We will return!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. My only complaints would be that the elevator was not working and the stairs were difficult for my Mother. In addition, I was only able to bring one of my pets and they refused to refund me the pet fee for my injured pet that I was not able to bring. I found this to be very disappointing.

This was a beautiful beach house with fantastic views. It was clean and had lots of boad games avaliable, and quick wifi.. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, cups and silverware. The knives could have been sharper. I do wish it had better lighting in the dining and bedrooms. Also would have been nice to have a shower with a hose instead of only fixed heads for washing beach sand off.

We loved this unit! We have stayed in several, but this one has one of the best views you can get being a top unit with the wide windows and completely facing the ocean. A lot of the units are getting pretty rundown, and in general this one could use some deep cleaning. But the couch and recliner seemed new, tv was huge, and new speaker units. The view is amazing, but sadly they never seem to clean the windows. My husband actually cleaned them as soon as we arrived, because all of the supplies were there, and they were so terrible with such a saltwater film on them. He cleaned them inside and out and we were interested to see how dirty they got after 5 days being there. Answer, not dirty at all, meaning these windows rarely get cleaned. This view and dirty windows is just a shame. Other than that we will keep coming back because we love these places, proximity to the beach, easy access, and view keeps us coming back.

The view is amazing and we loved walking the beach. The sound of the ocean through the open window was wonderful.

Amazing ocean views from sunrise to sunset! This property was overall clean. Being by the beach inside the condo was relatively sand free. We did however arrive to find a cleaning rag forgotten in the primary bathroom and some dirt and hair and a cobweb. The kitchen was equipmented with the supplies we needed. It would be nice to have recycling, more paper towels (we only had one extra one in the cabinet for a long weekend), the elevator to be fixed or something to make going upstairs with cargo easier. Overall this property provided all that the listing had mentioned. We enjoyed the surrounding areas and the ease of beach access to enjoy time on the ocean. We look forward to our return :)

Excellent rental. Awareness of location of stairs would have been helpful as when we arrived it was pouring and not as noticeable that they are behind the elevator. Views are beautiful - quiet location which for us was ideal.

Best location and view, just steps from the beach. Not much of a town to explore- Manzanita or Tillamook and Canyon beach are better if you want dining and exploring in shops kind of experience. We were happy with watching the waves, walking the beach and relaxing. But if you like going out for drinks or being able to walk to a little town you might want to look elsewhere. The unit was clean, beds comfortable and bedding too. The dressers are very old and flimsy. And there is no overhead lighting in either bedrooms so we brought in a lamp from the living room. No extras provided, pretty basic so bring the comfort stuff you need as well as games, lawn chairs,kites, sand toys etc. very little of that provided. The hot tubs are not hot enough really and are both outside with really old locks to navigate and nowhere to hang your towel or robe. They were clear on the other side of the building and no information about them in the book in the room. The wonderful soaking tub would be great if you could get enough hot water to fill it. It looks like there is a tankless water heater or was but I also see a standard hot water tank so not sure but even though the water is smoking hot at 140 there is not enough to fill the tub. The kitchen is stocked for the most part with basic stuff pots pans and utensils but nothing fancy. There is a new couch and recliner but an additional recliner or loveseat would be nice for more than three people- more than that there is not enough comfortable seating. They have. DVD player and nice tv no movies provided so bring your own. There was a big gap in the ceiling like something had leaked but I’m sure it’s being repaired. Elevator is still out for this unit but looked like other units had elevators. 36 stairs do not sound like a lot but packing luggage and groceries up it’s a work out so be prepared. Over all it was fine. Clean and beds comfortable. Was it worth the price? Maybe not yet. They could do a few easy improvements and have a five star place but just a 3+ 4- in my book for the price. Especially in early spring!!! Should be at 200.00 a night and not more. I loved the location to the beach and view but that’s it. Nothing else remarkable in this property but it’s got great potential.
