Nestled in Alto, this lovely cabin for $381 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Cozy Pines is located in Alto, NM and is a great place for that tranquil mountain get away. Surrounded by tall pines and only a 300 yard walk to Alto Lake, makes this location ideal for watching and feeding the wildlife. Enjoy nature from any of the three decks. A very close distance to the Ski Apache turn off, the quaint shopping area and Ruidoso Downs race track are only ten minutes away. This air conditioned, two story mountain home comfortably sleeps eight and has all of the amenities to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. There are four spacious bedrooms all with cable TV. The three bathrooms includes a beautiful master bath with a separate jacuzzi tub and shower with dual heads. The living/dining/kitchen are open making it ideal for any gathering. It includes ample seating, wood burning fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and gas grill. The game room has a pool table, electronic dart board and plenty of family board games. We have wireless internet / dsl connection, so bring your laptop or ipad. If your group includes small children, let us know. Our family of 6 enjoyed the space, plenty of room, well equipped kitchen. Beautiful outside with porches to enjoy. We would come back if in Ruidoso again!

The house had everything we needed to relax and have a nice Thanksgiving holiday. My son fished for trout while I hiked the lake and trails. The wild horses were around, and even a bald eagle. The kitchen had plenty of supplies to make a full holiday meal. The living areas were even larger than the pictures make them look. Lots of room for us all to have our personal space. We enjoyed the pool table, although that room had a very cold floor and we had to wear socks to keep our feet warm. The driveway is steep, but after shoveling the snow off it, no problem to get up and down.

We enjoyed the location beautiful lake, and very close to restaurants and things to do. We went to Monjeau Lookout that was breathtaking and awesome. The cabin was clean and full of space, there was a good coffee machine etc. The pool table was cool, and the TV has smart TV capabilities. Would definitely recommend Alto Cafe. Thank you

My daughter plays softball and we needed a location close to the fields and this cabin was perfect just a 5 minute drive. It was nice to still get the Ruidoso vibe of staying in a cabin and being able to relax.

It was a very nice stay. Downstairs was really cold though especially in bedroom. But up stairs was great. Loved the open kitchen /living area. Very nice place!. Would stay again.

Great place to relax and enjoy time with your family. Will definitely book again. Check in was easy. The only down fall is the outside heater was leaking gas, so we did not use it and the grill, only 3 of the 4 burners worked.

Cabin in the woods during the week after Christmas was fun. Enjoyed the change in weather. Home was clean and comfortable and the upgraded bed linens were a special touch. The home was decorated nicely and the Christmas tree made it feel like home. The owner was easily accessible by text and phone. A pleasure to work with.

First, I would like to thank Carol for sharing this home with us and such a smooth rental process. The home is beautiful and well taken care of. It was very clean and in order. It meet all of our requirements. Plenty of room for all of us as we are a group of high school friends aged 55+. This is a very well stocked home with everything you could need for your stay. We are very pleased with our decision in renting this home and look forward to a possible second stay in the future. Being able to stand in the driveway, looking up through the pine trees and seeing the Milky Way galaxy was great. Consider this property for your stay in Alto.

The place delivered on all its promises. It was clean and well provisioned. Beds were comfy. TVs in all bedrooms. Carol, the manager, was friendly and prompt in answering our questions. When the garbage disposal proved to be a problem, she got a plumber there on short notice. (A bit of advice: don’t use the disposal. It appears to be on its last legs.) We highly recommend Cozy Pines Cabin.

The Cozy Cabin was perfect for our needs. We were supporting a golf tournament for Folds of Honor New Mexico and brought a scholarship recipient family to join us at the event. The Cozy Cabin was excellent and would highly recommend.

First of all Carol was AWESOME to work with! She made everything smooth sailing. The cabin is everything you could want. It was absolutely beautiful, comfortable, loaded with everything you could ever need, and had the best welcome wagon there to great us! There was a HUGE elk waiting for us beside the driveway. That was exciting to see one so close. Carol gave us a list of things to do and see as well as having brochures in a drawer for us to use. There were four adults and two kiddos in our party and we all loved being there. Sitting out on the deck in the evenings enjoying the beautiful nature around us was so relaxing. We were there a whole week and could have stayed longer! If we ever decided to go back to Ruidoso we would definitely want to stay at Cozy Pines again. Thank you Carol for the great experience and for being a wonderful host.

We had such a great time staying in this cabin. It had literally everything we needed. Was also baby proofed which was a plus. Would stay here again, only down side is there's no dumpster near by. You have to go about 5-10 minutes in to town to throw it away. Aside from that cabin was perfect and comfortable!
