We are located oceanfront in a 52 acre gated resort next door to the Hilton Sandestin resort on the west. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park is on the east. From this Penthouse Suite you get a panoramic view of the sugar sand beaches and emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico, as well as a skyline view of Destin! There is 10 ft ceilings with floor to ceiling glass on two sides allowing you to see from the beach all the way to the bay side. Stunning property, extremely communicative hosts. GORGEOUS views. I’m excited for another excuse to rent this. Literally zero complaints. We had the best time, AND THE CHIEFS WON THE SUPER BOWL! Icing on the cake for one of the most incredible stays we have ever had through VRBO.

I would recommend staying here to anyone. The views and accommodations are great and Michelle the owner was phenomenal. She was always there to answer any questions right away. I loved that the condo was so beautiful decorated and that there was Bible verses around. I am a Christian and I loved that. The views were amazing and I have nothing bad to say at all .I was very pleased with our beach getaway. Thanks for giving us a memorable time with family.

The Tides at Tops'l is an outstanding vacation destination. Few properties have the number and variety of amenities available to families to include tennis, pickleball, basketball, putt putt and more, and it's conveniently located near restaurants, entertainment and shopping. The layout of this unit is very unique with large living spaces, a long wall of full height windows providing great views of the beach and surrounding area, and a very, very large patio with enough room and seating for large groups. A separate "owners" pool ensures spacious access to a large pool and a large composite walkway provides easy access to the beach. The owners were also very responsive (within minutes!) when we had questions before and during our stay. The mattresses could use an update, but are still comfortable and don't interfere with the enjoyment of the unit.

The views are amazing the balcony is huge with lots of comfortable seating and tables, you could live out there. The unit is up to date and and was perfect for us. Good chance we will be back.

This property is even more beautiful than the pictures. The wall of floor to ceiling windows makes you feel like your always on the beach. The condo is very comfortable and clean. It had everything we needed. Michelle (the owner) is incredibly responsive and helpful. She wanted to us to have a great trip. The property amenities are also really nice. If we are staying in the Destin/Miramar area, this is where we want to stay!

I can officially say this is my favorite VRBO I've ever stayed. The view from the balcony and floor-to-ceiling windows are what drew me to this listing. It is even more spectacular in person! Once you walk in, you'll be drawn to walk out on the balcony and spend all your down time out there! I couldn't get enough of it. This place was SUPER clean, well-maintained, and spacious enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. Even the water pressure was good! The location is perfection - it does not feel overcrowded with tourists, and the beach was heavenly. The water is beautiful, and the sand is amazing. I have a feeling we'll be back...... and recommending this place to everyone!

We had a lovely stay in this penthouse condo. Love love love all those windows! The porch is enormous with plenty of comfortable seating and the views are spectacular. Inside it is spacious and beautiful. Everyone has their own bathroom which is superb with teens or multiple couples. Great views of weekly fireworks right from the porch without having to fight the crowds. Excellent stay!

My family and I have been staying in destin/miramar beach the last 6 years. This has been by the far the best experience i've had. The condo feels like home as soon as you walk in, the view is breathtaking, and everything you need is right there. We will be back!

We enjoyed the property and condo so much last year we booked for this year as well. Very spacious and relaxing. Enjoyed the sunset views and the occasional military aircraft and the beautiful balcony as well. Perfect!

Despite the unseasonably cold weather, we had a wonderful time in this gorgeous condo...even though we could only be on the beach in coats! The condo is spacious, had everything we needed, beautifully decorated, beds were comfy. Hosts were easy to contact and gracious. Even though Florida was experiencing record low temps, we found plenty of inside things to do in the area that kept everyone occupied and in good humor! Escape room, inside black light putt putt, and taking our granddaughter to see Santa at Bass Pro Shop and for bowling at Uncle Buck's Fishbowl in Destin were some highlights. Spent time at Gulf World Marine Park in Panama City; granddaughter got to shake hands with a dolphin. Her vacation was complete at that point! Lots of seafood (Stewby's in Okaloosa YUM) And shopping, of course. Wish the weather had been warmer, but we had a lovely vacation in a beautiful condo with views for miles. Beautiful.

We were very pleased with our stay here @ the Mauldins' Tops'l beach condo. Check-in was a breeze, huge WOW factor when walking in the front door and seeing the beautiful panoramic views of the gulf via the 2 walls of glass. The patio was very big as well and provided plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. (Different seating than pictured in VRBO). The kitchen was stocked with enough dinnerware and kitchen items for our group of 6 to be able to cook-in a few times. One draw back was the "owners pool and hot tub" were closed, even though they were cleaning them almost every day, they had every gate pad locked with a wire bike lock, We will definately try to book this beautiful condo again. Thanks for a great holiday trip!

Our wedding was at the property and we had booked this room so my bridesmaids could get ready with all the natural lighting and it was wonderful!

This was a beautiful condo with excellent furnishings in an awesome location. We really appreciated the ample leather seating, the large dining table with seating for all, the well furnished balcony, (the furniture is different than what is shown in the pictures), and the king size beds.
However, we would have liked to have alternative lighter covers for warm conditions for all the beds. We love to cook and for a luxury unit we expected the kitchen to be a little better stocked. The only frying pans were torn up and warped non stick. There were only 5 wine glasses, and no spoons other than 6 soup spoons. Minor irritations but for the price you expect a little more.
We were surprised to find a high chair, a fan, and pack and play in the closet which would have saved us from hauling ours if we had known.
The location is great, just next to a state park so there are few people on one side to escape the craziness of SanDestin on the other. The pools were very nice and the Tiki bar was a bonus. I will definitely keep this place on my list to return to.

The view from this property took my breath away! The large patio was very comfortable. The beach was clean and the rental chairs and umbrellas were convenient. We saw dolphins swimming along the shore from the patio each morning.

My family and I truly enjoyed our stay. The pros would definitely be the following:
size! - the common areas and kitchen were perfect for a family of 7 (4 adults and 3 kids). I also liked that they provided an option of 2 twin beds or a king size bed in the guest room.
View - this is the best it gets in terms of an all around view of the gulf. It was surreal to wake up to the beautiful view of the ocean. The terrace is perfect for lounging and soaking it all in.
Pool- the pool didn't stay super crowded and the kiddie pool was perfect for my 2 year old. It was also nice to have access to a bar in the pool vicinity.
Beach access- the resort is right on the beach and a quick journey from the condo
Location- Mirimar beach is much quieter than Destin. There is a Publix close by as well as various restaurants to choose from. This was perfect for a family with small kiddos.
Security- there is a guard at the entrance 24/7 and overall the location felt safe and remained quiet
Cons- none really! the only thing we had was a leaky shower. The owner was quick to respond and provide a temporary solution.
Also, for those who want a true hustle and bustle (Destin/Panama City) this is not ideal. The neighborhood and resort are much more chill/relaxed than other areas in the Panhandle.
Checkin was super easy and the owner was super responsive to any inquiries we had. We will definitely be returning for future stays! This location and room are ideal for families but would also be perfect for a group of adults traveling together.

This co do was marvelous. The view was so pretty. We came to take my daughter's senior pictures. We had so much fun. Very convenient to awesome restaurants, the wharf, outlet malls. The condo owner Michelle was awesome. So friendly and kind. Loved everything about our stay. We will be back.

The day we arrived, we entered a gated community with a guard there 24/7; checked in with ease; went to our private parking space in the garage; took the elevator to the top floor and experienced a "WOW' moment when we opened the condo front door. Best place we have ever stayed to date. Loved the layout of the condo from the bedrooms to the kitchen/living room out to the beautiful balcony (where we stayed most of the vacation when there). The entire place was decorated so beautifully. The Gulf view was breathtaking from the balcony and even from the living room and master bedroom! Once we finally stopped 'pinching' ourselves, we went downstairs to the pool and pool bar. LOVED THAT PLACE! Great people work there. Got to play mini golf at night which was a lot of fun. The beach was right there and it was so lovely. Baytowne Wharf was just a few minutes' drive from the condo. Best of all, the owners were the sweetest and kindness people. They were always available and extremely helpful when we needed them. I highly recommend this spectacular vacation home and plan on coming back.

We have stayed in several properties on vrbo and 1506 is the BEST!! The pictures don’t do it justice!! The condo is gorgeous and was spotless! The view is amazing and the patio overlooking the ocean was our favorite spot! The mattresses and furniture are so comfortable. The private covered parking was nice. Michelle is great! She is quick to respond and was so helpful on giving great restaurant and entertainment suggestions! She even text to check to see if we needed anything. Can’t say enough great things about the property and the owners! Thanks Michelle for sharing your home with us!

Amazing view and location!
Absolutely fabulous! From the views, to the spacious layout inside and huge balcony outside to the property, everything was fantastic. Michelle and Allen were responsive with answers to any questions we had prior to arrival and offered suggestions for dining, shopping, etc. we had no problems or needs that had to be addressed while there because everything was pretty much perfect. Thanks for a wonderful stay and we plan to return.

Total Package!
We have been coming to Tops'l for over 15 years with our tennis team from High School. (My husband is the coach) We come in January every year. We just love the staff and the amenities. We decided to come as a family for vacation this year, realizing it was the perfect spot for us. We are a tennis-loving family! We just couldn't have had a better time. Michelle worked with us to get us in the perfect spot and it was just fantastic. Upon arriving, nothing could top that first breath-taking view out those massive windows. We were there during the Blood moon eclipse too and I've never seen the moon from such a vantage point. Amazing. We loved the spaciousness of the condo and just had a blast. The access to the cabana and pool, walk to the beach and then the access to the grounds at Tops'l just made for a perfect getaway. We took private lessons from the tennis pro, Joe. (Great guy!) Pickle ball was a fav and a walk up to the Ocean Club for dinner was perfect. We hardly left the property. Thanks for such a wonderful stay with amazingly comfy beds, plenty of space, loungey and private porch looking out over the ocean and all the soft seating for our big crew. Our precious 2 year old Zoe had a great time and we felt perfectly safe in every way. We will most certainly return, Lord willing!
