There were many beds which we needed and the appliances were quite up to date. The furniture appeared to be second hand.

This home is perfect ! If you’ll are traveling with a large family or a small group you have it all here. In this home you can separate into individual spaces for the evening or come together for large family meals and enjoy family time. The old charm of the house is comforting and we were so excited to see such beauty in the entire home. The surrounding area is beautiful and insanely easy to get to downtown Boston. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Excellent outdoor area and fun for a BIG group. We were there for Boston Marathon--both my daughter and husband ran and our other daughter is at BC. Not super convenient to transit but excellent for a big family gathering.

Great location and perfect retreat space for our teaching team (15 teachers) who attended a national conference at the convention center in Boston in March 2023.
Bus line was nearby with one stop to the convention center. It was also super easy and affordable to uber/lyft back and forth into the center of Boston. There were also plenty of stores/restaurants withing walking distance of the house in Newton center to pick up supplies and food. Parking at and near the house was easy and convenient.
House was clean and comfortable. Everyone had their own bed. There were large gathering areas where we could hang out and talk. Kitchens were well equipped bathrooms updated and well stocked with towels and toiletries.
Host was very gracious and communicative every step of the way. We had a small issue with hot water in some of the bathrooms and host was super responsive and sent a repair person out asap.
I confidently recommend this host and location for any family or group visiting the Boston area.

This house was such a great find. Molly was very easy to work with and accommodating. We needed a place to house 10 adults plus a nursing infant for a couple days for our son's wedding in Cambridge. This house could have accommodated several more people. We appreciated the chance to all stay together in one house rather than in a hotel, and we were all quite comfortable. Thank you, Molly, for making your home available. We appreciated it!

We are fortunate to have a great bunch of people across the country that we work with. This property was a great home base for us to explore Boston, hang out, cook and fit a lot of us and still be able to have a lot of space with few people sharing rooms. The host was great and very helpful from the beginning. This is not a party house, not the neighborhood for that, but you can still have a great time as long as you're respectful of the neighbors.

The entire process went very smooth. Molly is a great host and couldn’t have done a better job. The location of the property is great. The house itself is very nice and spacious. If you have a large group looking to stay in the Boston area, this house is for you!

Privacy and security issues. House was unlocked when we arrived. Realtor walk through was scheduled during our reserved time. I was told it would happen whether or not we were present in the house. The walk through was conducted while we were away and the house was not locked when we returned. Structural concerns. This building is not appropriate for children. The deck is in poor condition, rotting wood and holes. "Safety gate" to back stairs missing slats so a child could fall through. Ant infestation on the third floor. The "double garage" is very old and will not accommodate a van. Kitchen cabinets on all levels were full, no room for storage of our own supplies. Refrigerators had food in them from previous guests. "Yard area" was overgrown, poison ivy present and unusable. Slate front step was not secure, causing a family member to fall. Fortunately there were no injuries. Housekeeping duties required from us. Required to move 4 large trash cans to the curb and back to the house. Required to remove bed linens before check out. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion.

Have used VRBO for numerous family and group vacations and Molly's home did not disappoint. Traveled to Newton-Chestnut Hill area with 17 close friends to visit our 2nd year BC son and watch BC play Notre Dame in football for the weekend of Sept. 14th to the 17th. Each of the 6 families that traveled had one student at either of the schools so it was a no brainer that we try and all stay and enjoy the weekend together. Her unique home was ideal. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms and living space that were well maintained and comfortable for relaxing and having fun. And the back deck and connected garage rooftop patio was perfect for the tailgate we planned. My son and his friends are still talking about how much fun they had there 2 weeks after the fact. A 25 minute walk to Newton Center or 15 minute Uber ride got you to some fantastic restaurants. And Molly was very easy and great to deal with. Communicating with her was simple and she replied to any of my questions quickly. I am not sure if I will ever travel to the area with this many people again, but if anyone with 10-20 people needs a great place to stay in the area, I would tell them I would stay at Molly's with out a doubt.
Thanks Molly- Andy

We rented the whole house for a weekend graduation from Boston College. We all felt very welcome and comfortable in this home which was bright, big and airy. Everything was clean and in working order for us to use and enjoy....and that we did! The kitchens and baths were clean and ready to use as well as the beds. They were clean and comfortable.
Some went sight seeing too! Great location to the city because you can hop on Route 90 and head into town and only a mile and a half from Boston College. Molly the owner was very helpful and answered all our questions. There was plenty of room for all 20+ of us attending from a 1 year old to 91 years old!
Thank you Molly!

Wonderful home in suburbs of Boston!
Fifteen of us (6 adults and 9 children) came to Boston for a vacation. We had the privilege of staying at this home. It is a beautiful home in the suburb of Newton. Our primary purpose was to go to a football game at Gillette stadium. This house is conveniently located near the airport (15 minutes), downtown Boston (15 minutes) and Gillette Stadium (about 45 minutes with traffic).
The home itself was perfect for our group. We were spread out among the 3 stories with more than enough room. There were plenty of places to sleep and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked as we enjoyed breakfast in the home each day.
Molly is a great host, and we greatly appreciated her hospitality.
Overall an excellent place to stay! Would come back to this home!!
