Because our property is bordered by beautiful Mill Creek, this house is in close proximity to great blue heron rookeries. Nearby trees hold the twiggy nests of several pairs. Mill Creek offers you a 1.5 mile, paved, recreation trail leading to 20 miles of dog-friendly unpaved trails open to hiking, biking, and horseback riding. No events allowed. Overnight guests only (10 maximim) PET FEE: $100. Two dog maximum. Please add in your dog/s when you reserve. Fully-Fenced yard for pet/s when guests are on-site. This house was perfect for our girls weekend. It was super clean and there were so many thoughtful details that were unexpected. Lots of games made the late nights fun. The house is also super spacious. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely beautiful house - even nicer than the photos show. Loved that we could bring our dogs and they had a great fenced backyard to play in. Very quiet and private, beautiful lot. Highly recommend!

Heron house is everything promised. Clean, nicely appointed, well equipped kitchen, hotel quality bedding and inviting decor. Our group/family of 10 enjoyed our stay and had plenty of space to entertain. The property management was highly engaged and responsive. We appreciated the location of the house as it backs to Mill Creek greenbelt. We saw a river otter, deer and many birds including a blue heron. The yard is lovely and we enjoyed the patio in the evenings. Highly Recommend.

We stayed in this property 2 years ago and loved it so much we wanted to come back. Mom/Dad and 4 adult children and their spouses. Age 52-83. Bedrooms for all and outside space is great. 10 people inside dining and 10 can also fit outside. Love it.. Clean and very well appointed in all spaces.

Quiet location, sizable, private backyard near hiking trails. Large modern home with gas fireplace, one on-suite King room, spacious kitchen and dining room. Loved the location and the house. The hostess was quick to respond and friendly. Check in was easy with a door code. The house has a unique layout as the bathrooms are a bit awkward for the other bedrooms and there is no access to the garage. However, we had a great time and enjoyed our visit.

We were in Walla Walla for a family girls’ weekend and had a phenomenal time! This house is not only gorgeous but very spacious, well-stocked with all essentials, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our group of 9 to have stunning accommodations. Two bedrooms on the main level were nicely accessible for older members of our group. The kitchen is amazing and we appreciated having the space and tools to create and enjoy delicious meals there. We all raved about the home! The Mill Creek trail is just steps away and is wonderful for running or walking. The host was responsive and organized, the entire rental process was simple and easy to communicate. Would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

This home is very much as advertised in listing--clean, spacious, modern. Several sitting areas for visits. Patio area, with firepit, and large grassy area are great for kids and adults. Quiet neighborhood. Quick drive to downtown. We will return to this home in the future.

Our family met in Walla Walla to celebrate a milestone birthday; Heron House was absolutely perfect for this. 4 adult couples and one teen. We all were impressed by the spacious floor plan, the well appointed kitchen, and the location. We had a great family meal the night we all arrived and we enjoyed walking on the nearby trail each morning. I cannot recommend this property enough, it was perfect.

We had a great time during our stay. There were 4 couples and the house is perfect. We cooked one night and we’re amazed at all of the cookware and supplies available. The BBQ was so clean. The house has amazing towels and linens and even great soaps and shampoos. It is so clean and tidy with comfortable beds and furniture. Lots of space so that we never felt crowded. Definitely the best rental house we’ve ever stayed in.

This property is great and extremely reasonably priced. The owner has made sure guests will have a great experience. The place was immaculate upon our arrival, the yard and landscaping are wonderful, there are yard games at the ready, and there was a "welcome" bottle of wine to greet us. The house is well stocked with good quality items; including flatware, cutlery, glasses, mugs, dinnerware, and stemware, fluffy towels, kitchen tools and appliances. And our group was stoked to find a fully stocked board-game closet! :) Great experience, we will definitely stay here again.

Perfect layout for large groups. Plenty of seating for conversation, meals, and enjoying the outdoors. Large kitchen allows for several "chefs." Kitchen was REALLY stocked. We definitely weren't missing any kitchen items. This was the cleanest house we have ever rented in Walla Walla. Landscaping was an added bonus with beautiful flowers. We all sat outside every night. Owners are close by and were very helpful.

Travelled with the family to Walla Walla for a wedding. This house has an open concept with lots of space for multiple couples and has everything you could possibly need while travelling. In addition to the space, they have thought of nice little touches to make your stay even better with a bottle of wine to greet you and comfy slipper and robes. The house was immaculate, but the real show stealer is the outside with a manicured lawn, garden areas, fire pit, and a comfortable sitting area for the entire family. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We'll be back.

The property was absolutely immaculate. Something out of a book. The house had literally EVERYTHING you needed. The owners and property manager were always reliable. My family and I had an incredible weekend in Walla Walla, all thanks to the Heron House. Also, the location was pristine. 10 minutes from town, but you feel like you are in your own world at the Heron House. Can hardly see the neighbors. Thank you so much for such a beautiful home. My family already wants to come back!

This is a beautiful property both inside and out! Five friends of mine and I spent a long weekend together at Heron House. The availability of ample bedrooms and bathrooms made the stay very comfortable. In addition, we enjoyed the large kitchen, two comfortable seating areas around the kitchen, and the large dining room. The kitchen was well provisioned with small appliances, pots & pans, dishes, flatware, and glassware. And finally, the property manager was very responsive to our questions and needs before and during our stay! Wonderful experience!

Perfect house for 5 couples, 5 large bedrooms and 4 1/2 baths. Kitchen well stocked. Clean and nicely decorated. Great location, minutes to downtown and airport wineries. About 20 min to south side wineries. Enjoyed a morning walk on the trail.
