Lodge at Pebble Beach- Waterfront! Experience one of San Juan Island's finest vacation homes! The Lodge at Pebble Beach is nestled among the firs, pines, and ferns along the water's edge in a quiet neighborhood ideal for walking and wildlife viewing. The Lodge's great room offers dramatic vaulted ceilings, large windows, and French doors opening to the main level deck perfect for admiring passing boats and the occasional whale pod along San Juan Channel. The living room is furnished with a large comfortable sofa and leather chairs around the stone fireplace and entertainment center complete with satellite television, a DVD player, and stereo system. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and features cherry cabinetry, stone countertops, stainless steel appliances, a cooking island with a propane range, and breakfast bar. The waterside deck is complete with BBQ and outdoor furniture. The main level primary suite offers water views, deck access, a king-sized bed, a relaxing jacuzzi tub, and a separate shower. The lower level includes two bedrooms both furnished with queen sized beds, a full bathroom, and a large game room with a pool table, a propane fireplace, and a natural wood sauna. Wi-Fi with 50 MGPS fiber optic internet and long-distance phone service is available as well. There is a private pebbled beach just steps from the house accessed from a medium bank waterfront via stairway. (Stairs are used at guests own risk) A mooring buoy is available for boats up to 30' (tide charts must be consulted). Nearby parks and beaches include Roche Harbor Frisbee Golf Course, English Camp, Young Hill, Roche Harbor Trails, Roche Harbor Reservoir, plus many more. A few open doors or windows to let the ocean breeze in is adequate to cool the home. Firewood is provided in the off season. This house has good cell phone reception. Pets are not allowed at this property. Please be advised, yard maintenance may occur during your stay. This home is a 10-minute drive to either Friday Harbor or Roche Harbor. The neighborhood road to this home has high speed bumps. The driveway to this home does not have speed bumps. The internet / Wi-Fi at this house should be sufficient for streaming video, phone calls, remote work and video conferencing. Internet Speed Test Results… Download Speed: 13.02 Mbps -- Upload Speed: 7.87 Mbps-- Ping: 35.3 Ms (Average of three tests that were conducted March 2024 using SpeedCheck Pro). San Juan Island is a remote location, and it is good to keep in mind that intermittent, short, Wi-Fi disruptions are very normal for this area. vr permit number 04cu22

The property manager was adequately helpful.
The vacation rental was clean.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.

While the property was touted as a “luxury rental” the reality is, it is far from luxurious. I won’t deny the views are stunning and the structure of the home is in good condition, however we encountered multiple disappointments during our stay both inside and out.*Oven door does not close - needs repair*Cooktop ignition not working - requires a lighter*Many dishes are chipped *Some basic kitchen utensils missing - like a clean working can opener*Living furniture is shop worn*Cabinet and floors are shop worn*Overall cleanliness not up to standards for the price paid for this rental.*Outside picnic table unstable,*Stair to beach are essentially unusable *Too many issues to list them allIn summary, this rental property’s claim to luxury was a hollow promise that fell egregiously short.While the views are breathtaking, they could not compensate for the litany of issues that marred our stay. The lack of upkeep, subpar amenities, and downright hazardous conditions make it impossible for me to recommend this property.

We held a family gathering at the cabin next door to the Lodge and were very impressed with the property. It was extrememly well equipped, well maintained, and in a fantastic location. We would love to stay here again.

Great house, amazing views. Could be nice to have shampoo in the bathrooms and clearer indications on the bin system in terms of recycling possibilities.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The views were incredible and we loved the location. We had a bald Eagle sitting in the tree tops above us almost the whole time. The location was so peaceful and serene. The home was well stocked and spacious. We will definitely be back!

This lovely home is a wonderful home to enjoy any celebration or even a quiet getaway. The property is gorgeous, and the accommodations are comfortable. Plenty of blankets and those leather chairs are beyond comfortable and the surround sound was nice for us to play music and watch movies. Thank you for allowing us to make so many great memories here!

Everything was great. Couple small issues, firewood was green and would not burn, we could hear the water sizzling in the wood. House appeared to be clean, but not deep clean, dust on surfaces. BBQ grill needs to be replaced

The common areas of the home are spacious and well appointed. Great deck to relax on and watch boats from. One recommendation: include directions on how to use the TV. I figured it out, but directions would have been helpful.

Our family had an amazing time. Picture perfect views of the water and surrounding islands. From the private beach, ideal family living room with a gigantic wood burning fireplace and chef like kitchen this property was perfect to entertain our family. The bedrooms are huge and both have their own private deck overlooking the water. The kids loved it. Also, conveniently located close to Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor and Westcott Bay. I would highly recommend this property to any family looking to break out of the city and is looking for an authentic island experience.

Perfect Vacation Rental
Our family had an amazing time. Picture perfect views of the water and surrounding islands. From the private beach, ideal family living room with a gigantic wood burning fireplace and chef like kitchen this property was perfect to entertain our family. The bedrooms are huge and both have their own private deck overlooking the water. The kids loved it. Also, conveniently located close to Friday Harbor, Roche Harbor and Westcott Bay. I would highly recommend this property to any family looking to break out of the city and is looking for an authentic island experience.

I am convinced that the good reviews received are because of the views which are breathtaking. BUT, you can get the same views staying at the San Juan park in a pup tent.
1. Place was not clean. Alleged new linens covering yellowed and stained pillow cases as just one example.
2. Towels etc. were dingy and old.
3. Not a gourmet kitchen or even close. Refrigerator does not close properly, every drawer in the refrig is broken, the oven does not close, the pots/pans etc. were old, broken, or worn, the cups etc. were old and worn, and the list goes on.
4. The master closet is locked. We stayed for a month living out of our suitcases because the owner of this alleged premier property could not pick another closet to store their stuff.
5. Did I mention it was dirty.
6. All of the furniture is worn and old. All of the wood floors are terribly scratched. Rugs at the entry were garage floor mats.
7. The porch, aside from needing to be cleaned, needs replacement boards and painting.
8. The outdoor wood chairs downstairs are hazardous as they are breaking down and will collapse.
9. The dryer shreeked when used and was only replaced 3 week into our stay after I sent a video of it in use. And when they brought the new dryer, we were told that the owner was aware it was bad/broken but was holding out to replace it.
10. We got lip service concerning our complaints despite innumerable promises to make it right.
11. The list goes on.
In the end, the owner/property manager offered less than a 3% discount for this alleged Premier property which is not premier. As stated the views are great, but the house does not warrant the price tag being charged. Definitely a buyer beware scenario and a lesson to never believe the advertising which here was clearly false.

Stayed here with my husband for a quiet get away. Perfect location—away from the bustle but within 5-10 minutes of great dining and activities. Beautiful deck and waterfront views. We saw otters and a family of geese with five goslings! Home is beautiful with warm wood everywhere and a great fireplace.

Spacious living areas, fabulous kitchen and accessories, gaming room and for a cool evening a working fireplace and wood provided. The adult beverage area was great for stocking our own wine and the wine glasses exceeded our expectations.
Working with a local property management company was SO much better then an online company especially when you see the inventory of homes available.
