Situated in La Romana, this attractive villa for $2,219 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Located at Las Colinas (“The Hills”), this beautifully and exuberantly landscaped villa overlooking the Great Marina de Chavon at Casa de Campo, features very large, open and elegantly decorated spaces along with spectacular views. With its tall wooden ceilings, and graced by the cool evening breezes, this exquisitely decorated villa creates the perfect ambiance for your vacation. Being halfway up the “farallon”, it places you only a few minutes away from Minitas Beach and, at the same time, also just at a few minutes ride from Altos de Chavón. Opening the front door of the villa you first view a large double living room and an open terrace, also furnished with living and dining areas. But immediately your eyes look beyond… for you behold the Caribbean Ocean meeting the Mouth of the Chavon River! Following a wide lanai that runs the width of the house just after the front door, you find to the left an air-conditioned adjoining studio outfitted with a large desk, wi-fi, flat-screen TV and stereo surround system. In this left-wing of the house you have all the six (6) bedrooms, consisting of two Master-suites, each with a King-size bed, large bathroom, and ample closets; three large bedrooms with two Queen- size beds in each, all three with private baths, and ample closets, and a large convertible room with 2 twin-size beds, large bathroom and walk-in closet. All bedrooms have private, romantic balconies, and in addition, have safe-deposit boxes and hairdryers. Following the lanai to the right of the front door, you first find a powder room and then the magnificent dining room, with seating for entertaining up to 12 guests. Overlooking the swimming pool and the ocean in the distance, the dining room is the perfect setting for a candle-light dinner after a fun filled day of excellent golf at any of the four resort courses. This wing of the house also contains the well stocked kitchen and the service staff quarters. “Las Colinas ” villa comes fully staffed with maid, cook and butler, with daily service for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the request of guests (renters supply food). Daily cleaning and linen and towel service are also included. Laundry and ironing services are also provided at a nominal fee to be arranged with the staff. For those considering time in the Dominican Republic, there is no where better than Casa de Campo. Growing up, my family owned a home inside the resort where we spent ~6 weeks a year. The resort is now more than 50+ years old - the development, amenities, infrastructure, golf, and things to do reflect the significant investments made over that timeframe. We recently spent a week at this villa with family and friends, 12 people total. The arrival logistics, transportation, golf cart rentals, and grocery shopping were arranged seamlessly ahead of time with the help of Isabel and Maura. The 3-person staff at the home were incredibly helpful and welcoming - we were incredibly well taken care of during our week at the villa. The team running this property has the entire process dialed in. Beware of listings in the DR with no comments or reviews. When organizing this trip, I found an unusual amount of listings where people capture screenshots of other listings and represented them as their own. If they secure a reservation, they then approach the owner to try and work out a commission. I ultimately cancelled 2 DR vacation rentals before finding this one. The villa is in the ideal location with proximity to Altos and the Marina, Minitas Beach is also an easy 10 minute golf cart ride. This is a 5 star home with a 5 star staff & support team. We'll be back!

We just got back from Casa de Campo and had another excellent trip. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable. The staff, Victor, Norma and Maud, we are extremely nice and accommodating. They did all the cooking for us so we could just sit back and relax. The hostess speaks perfect English so she was a delight to deal with as well. She coordinated options for golf cart rentals, airport transfers, and our Covid Testing before departing home. This was one of the best VRBO experiences that I have had and will definitely return to this wonderful home one day soon!

We just got back from Casa de Campo and had another excellent trip. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable. The staff, Victor, Norma and Maud, we are extremely nice and accommodating. They did all the cooking for us so we could just sit back and relax. It would be nice for the property manager to provide a menu of the favorite or “ wow” dishes that the cook enjoys preparing. As a result of communication matters, our party of 8 had only 2 dinners and 4 breakfasts prepared by the cook. We had 4 lunches out and 2 dinners out. I would ask for a tipping guideline in advance of the stay. I would understand clearly the expectation of the cook- working after 6 pm and understand her need for cab money. The bottom line, we didn’t maximize the use of the cook. We had spent the first four nights in Cap Cana and had a chef, a butler and 2 maids. The chef killed it every meal ( 14) with a former flair. The manager provided the chefs top menus and recommended tipping well in advance of our arrival. This was communicated by the owners concierge in advance as well as a pre purchased grocery list. No worries, just suggestions and a credit card!We were spoiled in Cap Cana and we were hosted about average. For instance, it took 1 day and a half to produce hot water- the explanation of the Butler is “ we keep our water temperature low”.. regardless of the temperature, most Americans that I know enjoy the option of a hot shower. With the DR getting bad reviews related to security, Casa de Campo is very well secured, the activities ( Beach Club, The Marina, The Art district, Dye 4 Golf, horseback riding, dune buggies, snorkeling, restaurants) make certain that we will return to the property- likely closer to water front.

Wonderful family vacation
We just returned from 4 wonderful days at this beautiful home. There were 10 of us ... my husband, 2 married daughters, their husbands and my four grandchildren (ages 4, 6, 6, 8). The home was perfect for our stay...so comfortable and beautiful as well...inside and out. We all enjoyed the pool and the hot tub! (could have used more pool-side lounge chairs). Communications with the owner, Isabel, via email and phone were easy ... she was extremely helpful with our planning ahead of time. She even provided pool noodles for our grandchildren when asked. The staff of 3 was fantastic...always helpful ...always with a smile. We ate all breakfasts and dinners at the house - deliciously prepared by Norma ! Victor, the house butler, was very friendly and accommodating. Maude kept the home spotless!
The beach facilities were also amazing...went all 3 days using golf carts that we rented.
We will definitely return to Casa de Campo....

Honestly, the stay was first rate all the way. Property is wonderful - immaculate and neatly maintained, clean, comfortable. From the Butler to the cook to the maid Everyone was extremely attentive. Cook is amazing and highly recommend eating in. We went to Casa de Campo primarily for the fishing however spent a good deal of time at the property. The property itself is super relaxing and comfortable. We enjoyed our time there are thoroughly. Highly recommend.

Fabulous Vacation Villa!
We just got back from a fabulous 6 days in Casa de Campo staying at this exceptional, beautiful villa. We were a group of four couples so it was a perfect fit staying in the lovely four bedrooms on the main floor (we used the bedroom on the lower level for the masseuse from the club to give massages). Keeping the bedrooms cool with ac and the rest of the house open air was perfect even on warm days. The furnishings and decor are perfectly appointed with a local flare with many seating areas to relax and chat.
Upon our arrival, the staff welcomed us and made sure we had all that we needed throughout our stay. Victor was excellent as "butler" - from serving meals and drinks to checking on our golf carts and running to the marina to get extra ice. We ate breakfast very day and a few dinners on the outdoor patio which was heaven! The pool and hot tub were perfect, the grounds impeccable and there were even fresh flowers in our rooms. The view of the ocean tops it all off. The location is perfect and not far by golf cart to Altos de Chavon, the Marina or the beach.
Isabel, the owner, was great to work with and had quick email responses before, during and after our trip. She advised us on groceries and food to request which was very helpful. The cook does her best when given specific requests for meals. Our last night we had an amazing dinner in the dining room with an entire salted fish, filet, salad and potatoes and flan for dessert that was truly gourmet.

Fabulous family vacation!
We had a wonderful family vacation at Los Colinas 20. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The meals were delicious especially breakfast and dinner. The house is beautiful and yet comfortable. The kids had a great time hanging out in the hot tub and playing pool. We look forward to another visit to the villa in the future!

It Doesn't Get Better Than This!
Friends and I just returned from our stay Las Colinas #20 for a girls getaway. The pictures really do not do it justice...this villa is magnificent. The staff consisting of Victor, Norma and Maude were awesome. They are so attentive and considerate. They really made us feel so comfortable and welcomed (Norma is a wonderful cook and highly recommend her Dominican Stewed Chicken and Shish Kabobs). The owner Isabel was great and extremely responsive to any and all questions asked prior to our departure, which made it easier to communicate information to everyone in our party. The grounds of Casa de Campo is beautiful and very secure. We never once worried about our safety.
I highly recommend renting this villa for your next vacation. I Can't wait to return with my husband and other couples next year!!

Pictures Don't Do it Justice
I can honestly say, this villa looks even better in person. It's simply gorgeous! It's elegantly appointed, large, VERY clean, modern, yet rustic. The staff, Victor, Norma and Maude were fantastic! Norma is a great cook (request her special homemade balsamic vinaigrette dressing). She gives you a real sample of homemade Dominican cooking. Victor was a doll. He was helpful and accommodating. We loved him!! And, Maude was great as well. There was always plenty of clean linens and towels. The villa was kept clean at all times. Overall, the staff was fantastic!! They really took great care of us.
The villa itself is truly beautiful. As I mentioned, the pictures do not do it justice. It's elegantly appointed, yet very comfy and inviting. It is exactly what you would imagine a tropical luxury villa to look like. We took most of our meals at the patio table. It was lovely. The view of the ocean (in the distance) and the surrounding palm trees provided a great natural backdrop. The bathrooms were spacious and kept clean. They also had good water pressure. The showers are all walk in and wide enough to maneuver. The bedrooms were roomy and comfy. I slept in the downstairs junior suite. The queen sized bed wasn't super comfortable, but I still slept well. Also, the in-room air conditioner worked really well.
The owner, Isabel was very accommodating and helpful.
I would go back tomorrow if I could!! Highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Villa with Impeccable Staff
I recently stayed at the villa for a girl's getaway. The villa is spacious, luxurious and beautiful. It was 9 of us on the trip and we had plenty of room. The grounds were well manicured with lovely flowers that were cut and placed around the home daily. The outside living area was a great place to socialize beside the pool and Jacuzzi. The staff was simply impeccable. The entire house was kept clean and tidy. The food was simply delicious. The chef provided us with local dishes for breakfast and lunch, as well as, special requests. They were very eager to provide us with the best of care and make our stay an enjoyable one. The home is perfectly located with great access to all that Casa de Campo amenities - beach, marina, spa and Alto de Chavon via a short picturesque golf cart ride.
