Nestled in Beaver Island, this charming chalet for $313 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Beaver Island Chalet is full of light, set in a beautiful wooded cove. Windows surround the open, spacious living area. Curl up by the fire, play the piano & other instruments, read books, make a puzzle, grill out, build a campfire, walk or drive the mile to Donegal Bay for spectacular sunsets! It's two miles into town, so plan for a car or bikes. Explore this magical island! The south beaches, Iron Ore Bay and Cables Bay are gorgeous. Don't miss the south lighthouse, the 250 year-old birch tree, the Toy Museum, the Circle M restaurant, and Whiskey Point Brewery not far from the Whiskey Point Lighthouse. The island is an adventure for kayakers and boaters, and is part of a 14-island archipelago. Guests have a private suite with bathroom and shower downstairs, a luxurious queen mattress with topper, a spacious open loft upstairs with king bed, privacy screen, full bath. The futon couch upstairs folds down into a twin bed and there is space for the queen air mattress. A cozy downstairs living room sofa folds out to a queen bed. In the kitchen, you'll find coffee, tea, and three options: a standard 8-cup coffee pot, a French Press, and an espresso maker. The entire home is yours to enjoy. I will not be on site during your stay, but I will communicate with you. I can contact my assistant if you need anything addressed during your stay. The chalet is a clean, warm, welcoming and inspiring space for you to relax and rejuvenate. I happily welcome people from all backgrounds in my home. Five adults stayed in the cottage. Super comfy. Super cute cottage with plenty of amenities. Thank you for having coffee in stock, I forgot to bring it along. Easy access to town and a driveway to park our truck. Everyone on the island is friendly. We had a blast at your place.

After getting our bearings we found Ruby's Chalet and it was a real treat. It was everything the owner said it would be. It is secluded in the woods but a short distance from Donegal Bay. It is close to town which was a plus. Well stocked kitchen too. Both bedrooms do have showers, that was a plus.

This was in the top two of places I’ve rented in the past ten years. It was clean, comfortable, and really charming! We felt very much at home while we were there which made our experience more relaxing and enjoyable. It was quiet, private, and surrounded by gorgeous woods. Linda checked in the day we arrived and the day before we left to make sure everything was going well. I personally love Beaver Island due to the natural beauty (the beaches, woods) and the fact that it’s not commercialized and full of tourists. If you’re looking to get away from it all and spend time in nature this is a wonderful place to visit!

Ruby's Chalet was clean and comfortable. Lots of personal touches in the decor made it cozy. It had everything our family needed for a fun and relaxing island adventure. The owner was a good communicator and the cabin was easy to access. While we were on the island we enjoyed taking day trips and enjoying the many beautiful beaches and nature trails the island has to offer. Fishing and watching sunsets at Donegal bay were also favorites. My daughter loved staying in the upstairs loft and enjoyed the art supplies provided.

Tucked into a small wood lot, Ruby Chalet was a comfortable retreat for myself and three sisters. A short drive to Donagel Bay made it easy to view evening sunsets and walk the beach or take a swim. Many windows made it easy to enjoy an evening bonfire from inside or outside the chalet. All the amenities of home made a wonderful retreat after spending the day exploring all outlying areas of the island.

This peaceful location was exactly what we were looking for! There were plenty of comfy sleeping locations for everyone, great spaces for morning coffee- inside or out, and only 10 min drive from town (20 min bike ride/30 min walk)! We also loved being so close to Donegal Bay for sunsets and walks on the beach. Thank you Linda for sharing your home away from home!

This was our first visit to Beaver Island. The week on the island felt as if we were on a retreat. The Beaver Island Chalet deepened that sense for us. Enclosed by trees and quiet, it is a comfortable place to rest after hiking trails and simply be. A good walk from Donegal Bay and no sense of its closeness to town. We want to thank Linda for pointing out Gene Masta’s garden. We had a long chat with him.

We had a very good experience with this Chalet in the woods. Very clean and very well stocked. Linda did a very good job with all the details. The only suggestion is to replace the grill, it has seen better days. We ended buying a disposable grill to use Facebook r our stay. Otherwise, it was wonderful!

Lovely rental that accommodated our 5 adults well. Appreciated the piano (!) and eclectic CDs and albums. Within easy walking/biking distance to Donegal Bay and a family friendly beach. Love the island and the accessibility that Linda's place offered.

We love Beaver Island!! It was a great place to get away to and relax and Linda was a great host giving me suggestions before our stay and leaving notes/binder for us. The cottage was perfect for our needs. The upstairs was great for our friends who brought their little one. It fit all their needs and allowed some quiet time for naps.

The location was ideal - quiet, tucked away in the woods but still close to beach and the little town. Loved the old time records, books, and art supplies for our granddaughters and us to enjoy. The Chalet was very neat and clean. Everyone was so friendly and helpful on Beaver Is. We would enjoy coming back to this beautiful little retreat which provided such a peaceful stay for us. Linda was very attentive to any emails. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. We look forward to possibly returning for another stay in the near future.

Very quiet and peaceful—a perfect place to retreat on Beaver Island. Modern and clean, beautiful inside and out. As a bonus, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. One suggestion would be to add a table for eating outdoors. Overall, a great place with a terrific host!

So happy we found this little retreat for our vacation. It was a nice place to wind down after a full day exploring the island. It was calming and comfortable. It was nice being close to town but far away enough to only hear nature. There are so many beautiful places on the island and this chalet was no exception.

This is a charming cottage, in a good location on Beaver Island. It's close to town, but still in the woods, for that "getaway" feeling. We love Beaver Island, and the home was an extra nice way to enjoy our stay here. Washer and dryer an added bonus.
