Real Escapes Properties is proud to offer this spacious 11-room Cape Cod style home with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and located on a private cul-de-sac in Harrison Pointe Subdivision. Offering a peaceful haven, the home invites its guests to choose the privacy of a cozy library, to retreat to the game room to enjoy foosball, a game of darts, a Netflix movie on the large screen HDTV, or to relax by the downstairs fireplace. A wrap-around front porch and open back deck entice guests to enjoy the natural surroundings. The cottage style décor and beach theme beg occupants to live out the game room sign 'Livin' on Island Time.' With an occupancy of up to 10 guests, this home truly lives up to its name, The Great Escape. The kitchen is well equipped, with plenty of room for preparing memorable dinners. There is more than enough seating provided - you can have your new beach buddies join you for dinner. All of the bedrooms feature luxurious linens and are splendidly decorated. The location is walking/biking distance to popular island restaurants such as Halyards, Tramici's and Certified Burgers and popular shopping boutiques in the Sea Island shopping complex (Gentleman's Outfitters, SOMA, Talbots and G.J. Ford Booksellers). There are also wonderful biking trails in the area! The Great Escape, located at 102 Vann Lane (mid-Island location), is sure to be your family's St. Simons Island rental choice! ** The Great Escape is open for weekly and monthly rentals only. CHECK IN: 4:00 pm CHECK OUT: 10:00 am Group gatherings and events at this property are limited to number of occupants (10 persons) Sorry, pets are not allowed at this property. Parking is available for 3 vehicles. Please do not turn around in the neighbor's drive. Minimum age to rent is 25. This applies to all guests with the exception of multi-generational families. What to Expect in your Unit: Linens (Bath towels and bed sheets) are provided along with a Starting Supply of Toilet Paper, Soap, Paper Towels and Trash Bags. My stay at 102 Vann Lane was, overall, very nice. The house was clean and beautifully decorated. I also enjoyed the amenities (i.e. nice couch, t.v., dvd, Netflix, etc). The only complaint was the fridge door failed to stay closed about 50% of the time, which affected my food. For some reason the sealer on the door doesn't work very well and should be replaced. Otherwise, the house and stay were nice!

This house is beautiful. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood within a great location on the island. There is plenty of room for a large family or gathering, and everything we needed was right here. We loved our stay.

Home was very large and well layed out. Very comfortable for our stay. Home included many accessories that made our trip more fun (beach chairs, umbrellas and toys, bicycles and other fun things). Conveniently located in the center of the island. Very close to grocery store and restaurants and five minutes from the beach.

This property offers way more than the pics you see. There were four couples having a couple's weekend, and we had an awesome time. We didnt leave the house for anything because there was enough to keep us all occupied. I would truly reccomend this property, family gatherings with children would be a hit...the game room is awesome!!!

A great short weekend getaway!!
This property offers way more than the pics you see. There were four couples having a couple's weekend, and we had an awesome time. We didnt leave the house for anything because there was enough to keep us all occupied. I would truly reccomend this property, family gatherings with children would be a hit...the game room is awesome!!!

Four girlfriends spent a delightful two days in this vacation home. We each had our own bedroom and two had their own bathrooms. The house was in a lovely neighborhood of family homes and close to very nice shoppes. The house is not near the beach, but we did not care as we were from Florida. The house was just like staying in a friend's home and had all we needed. The interior of the home was in excellent condition and very cleaned comfortable. I felt the outside could use a little TLC as it seemed a little tired. This house is perfect for a large family gathering. Bikes and toys on hand!

This was a wonderful property! Conveniently located and had all that we needed. With 6 of us there was more than enough room. The ability to eat at different tables and share experiences together or separately...front wrap around porch, back deck, game room, family room, loving area etc. Loved the swing! Everything was clean and fresh!
