About this cabin rental
Nestled in Current River, this lovely cabin for $239 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This 2 bedroom cabin is a short 10 mile drive south of Doniphan, Mo. right on beautiful Current River. It is also 30 miles from Brick’s Off Road Park and 11 Point River. The cabin is 40 ft. from the river, with a deck that hangs right over the river. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one bath, kitchen, washer/dryer, dishwasher, stove, microwave and a big upper deck to bbq on. We have WI-FI. We require a 2 night minimum stay and check in is 3pm, check out is noon (but we are flexible; especially if we have no other bookings near your arrival/departure dates). You can sleep 4 comfortably but up to 8 if you pull out our mattresses in the closet. We ask that you do NOT have more than 8 people at any time on the property. It also comes with boat ramp access. There is no gravel bar on our side of the river. We have towels, chairs, bbq grill, dishes, pots/pans, freezer for bagged ice storage, etc. This is the cabin we use EVERY weekend in the summer, when we are not renting it out. It is not a 5 star hotel but it is very nice with all the amenities!

Want to go back when we can enjoy the river. We needed a getaway and thought this cabin was cute. Very peaceful in the off season. The owners were easy to reach and communicate with, when the smart tv was smarter than I was…Everything you would need for a relaxing stay. Doniphan is close by for groceries. Would go back anytime of year, for a long weekend.

August and September tend to be really crazy busy times for moms. My best friend and I just needed to get away from the city and the daily demands and we had a great stay. I am a fan sleeper and the amount of fans on the property to keep air moving was wonderful. The Current River is so gorgeous and the weather was perfect. Communication with Steve was great. Would definitely recommend for a long relaxing weekend or if you love fishing. :)

This cabin was perfect get away. We had a wonderful time. The only downside is there was a lot of boat traffic on Saturday. If you stay here visit the Lemonade House Grill in town, you won't be disappointed.

When we got there the upstairs was too warm. We contacted the property owner and they promptly brought extra fans. Everything was provided. We thought grill was charcoal but it was gas and not useable. We loved the deck and sitting out listening to the sounds of the river and birds while having morning coffee.

Beautiful & peaceful setting. Comfortable & well-equipped cabin. The river is gorgeous -- we kayaked, fished from the dock, listened to & watched the endless current, & just rested. All communications with Steve were quick, thorough, & appreciated. Thank You So Much from our family of four -- we made memories.

We spent most of our time in or near the water. Had to drive a little ways to get to the nice spots but wasn't anything we didn't expect. The evenings were great around the cabin.Peace and quiet.Just a relaxing environment.And that's what we wanted.The owners were very easy to get hold of and very quick to respond.

River cabin stat
Our stay at the cabin was great! Location was so beautiful and close to the river! My husband and son had a great time fishing off the dock. We kayaked and we were able to float right back to our cabin. The area had many trees and it was comfortable sitting outside by the river the mornings and evening even in 100 degree weather. The cabin has all the kitchen equipment we needed and Steve the owner even sent down a crockpot for us to use. A great time was had by all!!

This cabin and the property it sits on is pretty much heaven on earth! It's so beautiful and peaceful! Steve was wonderful to communicate with and made sure our stay was enjoyable! Will definitely be booking again next year!

Great river cabin!
This is a great river cabin and a great host. I had tons of questions and he was always available to answer them. Cabin had everything we needed for the weekend and was extremely clean. Can’t wait to stay here again.

When the husband and I get away without the kiddos, we prefer to vacation at places that offer relaxation and solitude. This was the perfect escape from the craziness of life. We stopped at a local Dollar General for some supplies, incredibly friendly staff by the way, and didnt see another soul until we were headed out. The location was beyond beautiful, just as pictures described. Literally steps away from the river. The hammocks offered a comfy place to lay as I read some long overdue books while he fished off the dock. The cabin was simple yet perfect for what we wanted and met all expectations. And the bed!!! Oh my goodness, this was probably the MOST comfortable mattress I have ever slept on. The sliding doors off of the bedroom allowed us to listen to the gentle sounds of nature throughout the night. Check in and out was beyond easy. The owners remained in contact until our arrival. There was a small to do list prior to leaving, but nothing out of the ordinary and owners do not charge a cleaning fee. We both hated to leave but definitely look forward to returning.

If you are needing a quiet place to get away to, this is the place. My husband and I enjoyed celebrating our anniversary here on the river. The cabin was everything and more that was listed. The bed was very comfortable...at our age is a must! We will rent again.
