3 Story (With Elevator) Charleston Style Row House, 2 Story Dock, Sunset Views!
About this house rental
Our relaxing retreat was built in 2010! Located along the 242 miles of shoreline on picturesque serene Lake Wateree. One of the best Sunsets on the lake! Large, open living area/kitchen. Game Room first floor with additional trundle beds, Pool Table, Darts, Board Games, and Full Bath (This should be considered a 5th bedroom on the property as there is a Full Bath). 2nd Floor has Living Room, Kitchen, Dinning (Open Floor Plan), a half bath, Queen Bedroom and Full bath. 3rd Floor has Master Suite with private balcony and full view of the lake from jacuzzi tub, and wake up in a King Size Bed with an incredible view of the lake! 3rd Floor also has a Queen Bedroom and a "Bunk Room" which has 2 double beds and twin over twin bunk beds. There is another Full Bath on the 3rd floor as well. ELEVATOR!! Fenced in lake side yard with easy access to water. Double-Decker all aluminum dock with IPE decking. Hardwood floors and fireplace. Our home is located in a residential area and some of our neighbors live year round at the lake. Due to this, our location is not suitable as a party location. There is a noise ordinance in the county from 10pm on and this will be enforced. This does not mean that you can't go fishing at midnight, it just means that we ask you to be respectful to our neighbors and not play music or disturb our neighbors late at night. We seek family oriented guests who want to relax and enjoy the lake with their family/friends. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions regarding this.

Spent a beautiful week at John and Colleen's place. It was nice and hot, which made for perfect swimming and boating. The grandchildren absolutely loved swimming around the dock, and finding snail shells along the shore. We were very pleased to find that the water levels were high enough that we were able to rent a pontoon boat and dock at the property.
Through no fault of the owners, we were without an elevator… This was very disappointing, but we got through it. Unfortunately, this was a big issue, as the bottom floor was not accessible without going outside. Just a lot of climbing and carrying, which got more tiresome towards the end of the week. We had some water pressure issues for the first half of the week, but it seem to get better towards the end. The owners called the county to look at the meter, and a minor adjustment seem to help.
All in all, we had a lovely time. The house was comfortable and mostly well furnished. Our comments/suggestions: 1) there were no wash cloths in the house, 2) very little room in the kitchen for putting away pantry items, 3) it would be helpful to have instructions for living room tv use.
I must say, John and Colleen were extremely attentive to our texts, and I always heard back from them right away. We understand that the elevator and the water issues were unexpected, and not something that could be quickly resolved for our stay.

It was fabulous from start to finish. The house is beautiful and well kept, as is the property. The swimming hole right off the dock was our favorite spot to have fun with the grandkids. The house is in a great location with excellent hospitality. It was a wonderful week at a wonderful home with family and a few good friends. Thanks so much for opening your home to us. We will rent this property again.

Week at Wateree
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for a week. The house is outstanding! We had enough room with the different floors - no one felt cramped at all. Easy communication with the owners and everything was exactly as stated online... We hope to return soon.

Family Vacation
The property was great just as listed and any time we called the property manager they answered or got right back with me. Great swimming area for my grandkids and we all caught a lot of fish from my 3 and 4 year old grandkids up to my boys their wives and me. We all had a great time and the best part my mom lived 8 minutes away so she got to see her grandkids and great grandkids. Grocery stores are about 30 minutes away but two houses over is a marina. We would definitely rent this house again in the future.

This house is perfect. We were a group of 8 guys coming to Lake Wateree to fish. Perfect house for large groups. The owner, John, is very responsive to any of our needs. He took care of all of our needs. I would highly recommend this house. If you want a nice quiet, laid back week at the lake, this is the place to go!!! The perfect place to go and get away!

Kayak, canoe, life jackets, inner tubes, outdoor chairs, beach towels, movies, books and games...a great family home! The owners were great to work with and easy instructions to follow.
Highly recommend The Olde Town Hall restaurant about 20 minutes away on 21. We found it our last night, as the marina next door had limited offerings and hours during our visit, and wished we had discovered it sooner.

This house is amazing and has a great view of the lake. WiFy was full bars on my iPhone. Extra clean and sanitized when we arrived. The marina is next door and with a short walk. Great experience.

My family had an OUTSTANDING time here. We were able to place our boat in the water at the Marina next door. We caught bait fish right from the boat dock all day for three days. Lot's of Fun!!!!

Highly Recommend
Everything is as better than described. Great location and the views from the house are incredible. House has plenty of space and amenities for large groups and was fully stocked with everything we needed to feel at home. Communication with owner was always fast and accommodating with clear check in and check out instructions. Definitely plan to be back!

Relax, unwind, great hist
We came down from Charlotte. This place was great band met our high standards. EVERY bed is memory foam, pictures to not do the bedrooms ANY justice, there are 4 sleeping areas that can be locked for privacy if you're wondering. The Master room is exactly that, it has the deepest bath tub I've ever seen, WITH JETS! The Master bed is a Nora, with massage function. Two of the sleeping areas have a clear view if the beautiful lake. Every common area and 2 of the sleeping areas has a balcony and full lake view. BRING YOUR FISHING POLE! This place is not "cabiny" it is very contemporary. The elevator is great for initial unloading and settling as well as departure. YOU WILL feel like your in the boonies, however there is a little store/ bar/ diner that has an awesome menu. The nearest Walmart is 30 min drive, but its pleasant country roads with beautiful scenery. You'll run into civilization there also, ABC stores, chick filla etc lol. If peace, seclusion, comfort and scenary is what you're after you'll get it here. Look no further, book now. Dont be intimated by the booking process, John and Colleen are beyond accomadating, what ever you need just be honest and ask.
