Close to downtown Langley where they have wine tasting great food a movie theater art shops and more! Only an hour and a half from Seattle and a 15 minute ferry ride to Mulkiteo. Tv and internet provided as well as a full kitchen! 2 parking spots. Well furnished. Langley is an astounding place for a romantic or small family getaway. It’s a very quiet and calm area perfect for a short vacation away from the city.

This is a gorgeous place in a beautiful location right off the water. We sat on the deck and watched the sunrise and sunset along with seals and bald eagles. I hope to be able to return again and again.

The location and layout were perfect for my adult daughter and me. We attended a wedding near Langley on Saturday. Getting there from the beach house was fast and easy. The beds were comfortable and there were lots of fresh towels. We didn't cook but the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the easy entry with a code. The water pressure was excellent. The house was clean and neat, (although the crew could do a bit better job of dusting and cleaning cobwebs). Would recommend and definitely would return.

Our small family enjoyed being right on the water in this peaceful home. The owner was very kind and responded to me within minutes, when asked a question. We enjoyed the open area downstairs and large patio on the water. We didn't realize the upstairs bedroom is a loft, which opens directly to downstairs, without a fourth wall, so we had to be quiet in the evenings, The location was easy to find and just a short drive to town. Beautiful setting and nice decor.

House was right on the water, couldn’t have had a better view. Wish I had a boat to take advantage of the incredible crabbing opportunities everyone around us seemed to be enjoying. House was clean, had just about everything we needed. The grill was out of propane but a trip to a local hardware store rectified that problem. Great space for 2 couples or parents with smaller kids. 2 teens were not real keen on sharing a bed. Make sure to bring some extra blankets if you stay. Lots to do up and down Island County, just depends on your interests. Hope to be back.

Beautiful view - wonderful beds. Kitchen needs a deep cleaning stove, pots and pans. Difficult beach access getting up and down last step. BBQ unusable and very dirty

Quiet and cozy cabin on the waterfront. We could see fireworks across the water! Took a cold dip in the sound which was quite refreshing. We wish one of the couches was a pullout bed to make sleeping arrangements more convenient. Otherwise a great escape.

This place was magical for us. Although the summer would offer more outdoor deck use the views were spectacular right on the water. We had the pleasure of watching 2 grey whales feed right in front of us during king tide. The house had everything we needed. Glad we drove our rig Parking is on a dirt downhill major slant.

This property is in a beautiful area of Seattle and the United States. It is right on the bay and overlooks Camano Island. The views are lovely and there are lots of hiking opportunities nearby. Langley, which is the nearest town, is also quaint and has several gift and art stores as well as restaurants. Overall the place was very clean. The only negatives were that the dishwashing liquid for the dishwasher ran out as did the liquid body soap in the downstairs shower. The landlord's ask to keep the temperature in the house to 60 at all times was also not realistic as the home got very chilly when the temperatures dipped into the upper 50s. I would still recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in this area as you can't beat the setting and location!

Dona’s Beach House was exactly as described! Beautiful place, beautiful location! We spent much of our time on the deck enjoying the view, the ocean, the wildlife (we even had a whale pass by)! Dona was a very wonderful host; and, we hope that she will have us back someday!

Perfect tranquility

The whole experience was beyond perfect! We could lie in our comfy beds and watch the tide go in and out. The place was spotless except for a stain on one bedspread, and that was easily replaced by another from a cupboard. We spent much of our time talking to seals from the deck. Indoors and outdoors blended idyllically through generous windows, and the view and virtual silence were both captivating and soothing. We will be back!

Amazing and relaxing

We see saw bald eagles waiting to catch fish and being harrassed by crows; seagulls dropping clams to break open and eat; a deer and her fawn frequenting the area, even taking a stroll on the beach! Most exciting and heartbreaking was the seal pup, a piece of what looked like umbilical cord still attached, that swam to shore and seemed abandoned by it's mom. We called marine wildlife rescue but seal disappeared with high tide hours later. Other adult seals frequented the area as well but did not come to shore. Tip: wake up by sunrise (5 a.m.); sleep when it gets really dark (9 p.m.). As for the beach house itself - gorgeous, clean, comfortable. We watched movies only at night when we couldn't see anything out in the water anyway. Tip: Call Dona before you reach the house. Make the call from somewhere in downtown Langley or before. Reception is not very good and you'll need to verify you have correct code to enter the home. We hadn't done that so had a minor setback. She was quick to respond to us and even called later to see if we'd gotten in. (Wi-fi worked well, however, after we got the password. Able to make calls, if we had to.) This is the perfect place to have a relaxing time and just sit outside on the deck and listen to the harmonious sounds of nature.

Stunning view! Well equipped and very clean. An added bonus for the holiday was a lit mini Christmas Tree and lit Christmas Wreath! The only drawback we experienced due to the snow was safely leaving the neighborhood location up a very steep roadway. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day early due to weather conditions. Adorable cottage feel with breathtaking view of water. We loved watching the seals play in the water! The host stocked the house with everything we could have possibly needed. House was a wonderful and peaceful get a way for my husband and I. We would definitely come back for another stay.
