The location was lovely amoungst the trees overlooking the sea.
If you have some physical disability affecting your ability to climb the steep approximate 136 stairs, then this location may not be for you. For me it was great, as I need the exercise.

Gracias Amstrong :)

Solitary location with only two bungalows. The feeling of achievement when you get up there in the difficult location with your backpack, walking all those stairs for the first time. Breakfast provided. The multi-talented host Mr. Armstrong has a very big heart.
It was a bit hard to find the place at first and t's very demanding to climb up there. Not for someone not in good shape. The view to sea and town was mostly blocked by dense canopies.

Amstrong is very kind person.. he did everything he could for us. He helped with all needs.Place it nice, in the forest. Nice place in the forest, birds, squirrels ... very tasteful breakfast from Amstrong.
Shower and sink need restoration. Weak water power in shower. Lack of space (no space) for luggage, shirts, pants, your private things etc..

Great value for money. The accommodation is right above El Nido beach. The room was clean and our host Armstrong took great care of us and was very helpful. We also had our own private bamboo terrace.

Amazing view and Mr. Armstrong,'the manager', is very kind to help (he cooked pancakes, was our guide etc). Thanks for that !!
This place is in the center of El Nido, but high on the rock (150 steps). So more quiet and in the forest. I like that, not next to bars and etc. Beach is only 5 minutes walk so excellent.
Book this place and you will not regret. Only thing is you can walk (coz of the 150 steps), so not disabled. If you can walk no problem, take your time to get up there and then it is not a problem.
Nothing was bad there. Nice place, i recommend this 100%

Amazing place to unwind in the middle of the jungle. No mosquitos or flies. The steps are easy to climb. Sir Armstrong is very friendly and helpful. Would come again for sure. Yummy breakfast. Great 4G signal. There is also a kitchen. Nice CR. Big bed.

Armstrong was so helpful. He showed us around, connected us with local tour companies and provided us with lots of information. We are so grateful for the wonderful accommodation above ElNido. The advertisement is right, you have to like stairs, there are a lot of them! Some of the stairs were destroyed by the typhoon and need fixing. Overall, an excellent stay. Thank you Armstrong. You made El Nido memorable! ♥️
Stairs need fixing but this will happen with time.

Had an amazing stay here. The best part about it was the people. When we first arrived we were greeted by the owner’s son (as he was out of town for a couple days). He was an absolute delight to meet and made sure we had everything we needed. The owner arrived a day or two later and he was also super friendly and attentive. He brought us lots of food for free which he bought for us which was extremely kind. What a lovely family!!! We had breakfast made for us everyday which was great. Although it’s a tough walk up the steps, the experience of staying in a treehouse with an amazing view is more than worth it. You are out of the hustle and bustle of El Nido and it really is a very unique stay. With there only being one room, you have the whole place to yourself which was nice. We really recommend this place!! Thank you so much for our stay :)

We definitely recommend this place! The location is very beautiful, far from the crowd of the city and worth the effort to climb the stairs. And the host is extraordinary, a very friendly and sociable man. The breakfast is delicious, and in addition to this, during the day, Mr Armstrong gave us free coffee and pancakes. Everything was perfect!

Camp talusi hills is a small hotel in the hills above el nido town. You have to hike up some stairs to get there. Once you are there, your cottage is in a beautiful jungle. The room is clean and has running water. The owner of the hotel is very nice and can help you book tours and cook you breakfast.
There is no AC. There are roosters in nearby houses that might wake you up in the morning.

Armstrong is the best host ever! He really was the highlight of the stay. He helped us out in every way possible and made our time in El Nido perfect.
The accommodation is simple, there are many mosquitoes and stairs are indeed steep, but if you dont mind (we didn’t) this is the place for you in El Nido!

Such a special and lovely place to stay at! Great and friendly host! Nice view, clean and place to sit outside.
Important: no WiFi or hot shower, hard to find and quite a hike with many stairs up!

My cabin was located amongst nature, it was lovely. I had my own deck overlooking El Nido beach. There was a fly net in the room which was perfect to protect from mosquitoes.
There was also an electric fan.
Armstrong was great, he offered help with everything I needed and he even dropped me to the airport.

Armstrong was the best part of the trip, he was very polite, helpful and his breakfast were the best! He also helped us with the bags up and down the stairs. The place is not far away from town but far enough to enjoy some calm.
The stairs are not for unfit legs, but nothing you can not do with some stops in the way up

Our host Armstrong was amazing all the way! He did laundry for us, brought us a delicious breakfast to our own terrace every morning and gave us a ride to the bus terminal.
The cabin was situated in the forest surrounded by nature with a walkway through the garden. It was calm and peaceful.

The host was extremely nice! He helped me with my bags, gave me great tips on what to visit (worth it!!) and what to skip and he even took me to the airport. Breakfast was included and vegetarian option was available. Waking up “in the jungle”, away from the tourist hub El Nido can be, was awesome.
The entrance to the property was hidden but locals helped me out.

Armstrong was extremely helpful and very kind. He booked an island hopping tour with a very nice team, as well as van to Port Barton. The hut is simple but everything was there. Beautifully located with a nice view over the beach.
The noise from the city still reaches the hut, so even though you're in your jungle you can still hear people partying...No wifi

The view from the hut was amazing, a huge balcony and Armstrong our host was so obliging
The steps I struggled a bit but I'm 69, if you have heavy suitcases would be very difficult. It was a bit hard to find need to have a,few signs.

The way to get in and the smell all around was awful

Armstrong has a unique set up of two huts set high above El Nido in the jungle ( he helps with the bags!!) Perfect place to spend a few days with the bright lights at the bottom of the steps. He is the most wonderful person. Will do anything for you. Thanks so much Armstrong!
Nothing. If you are fit the steps are no issue.

The host was extremely friendly! went to pick us op right away from the point that was most near the treehouse. He will directly arrange a lot for you (pick up with the van, scooters, breakfast) and has it fixed without any fuss. always happy to help.
the treehouse was amazing!! it was at the main area in the center but also more quiet because we were up in the trees. you had an amazing view and the beds were really comfortabel. they have a mosquito net but we didn’t even use it cause the room was quite closed off anyways, so we did not have any mosquitos. the breakfast was served on the balcony and it was great as well! loved the experience and I think it was the best location/housing/price you can get in El Nido.
there was no hot shower and no mirror. for me it was fine but still it would be nice. everybody talks about it and they also warn you about it, but the steps! take the warning seriously cause it is really steep and at times it did not feel completely safe. we are quite fit so it was fine but i don’t think an elderly person could do this.
the only feedback I have is to fix the quality of the steps because sometimes they feel wobly and unsafe

Armstrong was so helpful and very kind. The setting is beautiful and the room had everything that we needed.
The steps up are very steep, do not underestimate the warning before you book.

My favour aspect was the fact we were situated up in the tree tops away from the hustle of town. To get to the property it was a lovely walk along the beach, through passages around the back of local homes and up on a hill. My friend and I enjoyed a morning spent relaxing on the little terrace, amongst the trees and wildlife, it was our own secluded paradise whilst only a very short walk into town. Above all though, Armstrong was a delightful man who is very caring and down to earth, he gives any left over money he has to the poorer children in the village. He also makes very delicious pancakes and kindly did our laundry for us.

I was met from the ferry by Armstrong, a gentleman who couldn’t do enough for you. He showed me the key places in town, organised tours, bus transfers etc. Yes you do have to climb approx 100 steps and they never seem to get any easier, however it’s worth it to be away from the hustle and bustle of town. Facilities clean and the breakfast was delicious.

149 steps to heaven. Magical hospitality....
In a wooden house on the cliff of the mountain overlooking the sea... Big bed, bathroom and lovely balcony. So close to nature... We were welcomed and accompanied throughout our entire stay by Mr. Armstrong who took care of everything we asked for and what we didn't (on his own initiative he did laundry for us for the dirty clothes we hung outside). Every morning he brought us breakfast and help us in booking our island tours...The view and the surrounding landscape was amazing and nothing more to ask for. It is true that there are 149 steps, not easy, but each step is worth the effort and the value you get is something you will remeber. Not a standard room, not a standard place; But not a standard experience either. This is an experience to add to your private photo album. We highly recommend.

The host went above and beyond expectations, assisting us with luggage, booking, transfers, tips and offering coffee at all times, you couldn't find better! Location is great, close to town and the beach yet you feel like you're in the woods. Substantial breakfast. We hope to return
Scenic view of town partially obstructed by trees

Armstrong was very hospitable and helpful during our stay. he met us in town and carried our bag to our room. there are a few stairs to walk up but it was not bad and worth it to be away from the busyness and noise in El Nido. Armstrong can help you organise island hopping and anything else you need help with. we also got great pancakes for breakfast! thanks again for having us
