The Swan River House
About this house rental
I am available to you should you need anything during your stay. Located on Swan RIver this is a perfect house to come home to after a long day at the beach and enjoy the amazing views. You will have full access to the house. This house was originally a duplex however it was recently converted into a single family home. The set up is great for multiple families looking to share common spaces however have their privacy at night. Swan River is very popular for Kayakers and SUP's. There is a rental shop at the top of the street where you can get everything you need for a day or even weekly. There are a couple of islands you can sail out to and enjoy a nice picnic, or if you go the other way it will lead you out to South Village Beach . The main lower level porch is extremely large and includes an extended Restoration Hardware outdoor dining table with seating for 10. A gas grill is available. This area also includes seating for 6 with a propane controlled fire pit. A hot tub overlooks the water with seating for 6 and a lounger seat for a full body massage. Also includes a pathway out to a private landing to launch your kayaks and SUP's. The Kitchen: All newer appliances and dishes. Keurig coffee maker. Features a large eat-in island with seating for 4. Large windows allowing for an expansive view of Swan River. Living Room 1: Open to the kitchen area with a large sectional with seating for 6. 55 inch smart TV. Living room 2: Another sectional and additional seating for 6. A 65 inch smart TV hung over the an electric fireplace. This large living room also includes a brand new pool table and foosball table. Master Bedroom: Walk out porch with views of Swan River from your room. California King bed. Smart TV. Master Bath: Full private master bath. Bedroom 2: Walk out porch with views of Swan River from your porch. Trundle bed with two twin mattresses. Bedroom 3: Large windows with great views. (2) Queen beds. Bedroom 4: (3) Queen Beds (1) Twin Bed in this extremely large bedroom. Walk out balcony with beautiful views. Also features a private full bathroom. Laundry Room: Newer Washer and Dyer available on the main living space. Bathroom 4: Full bathroom off the living room.

I stayed at the Swan River House for NYE of 2024! It was a wonderful experience for me and my friends. We had a blast with the foosball and billiards table and using the hot tub. The house had everything we needed and was the perfect size. The host was responsive and consistently checking in online to see if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again.

The house was pretty much as described, although the patio heaters were put away for the season, which was a bummer. Lots of space to play, plenty of TVs and games. The kitchen had everything we needed. One downside was that we hoped to be able to utilize all the bedrooms but with younger kids and the massive separation between wings of the bedrooms it made bunking up necessary which wasn’t ideal. Probably a great set up for a family with older kids! Things are definitely falling apart a bit- showers hanging from wall and towel rods not secured into wall, but overall it’s a nice house with lots of space and everything you could need. Those with allergies note that you can smell that dogs have been there - my son and I suffered a bit from that but it did say pet friendly so just good to be aware!

Small group of family enjoyed the weekend. Great views of the river off the deck. Relaxed in the hot tub. My son and his friend (18 & 20) enjoyed the large tv's, pool table and foosball. With covid making celebrating this milestone birthday more difficult than usual, this house was a perfect getaway.

We travel to Cape Cod just about every year. Of course Covid made it more difficult this year but the property owner worked with us and we had a great time. House was very nice and location was perfect for us. I will definitely stay here again!

Our family enjoyed a great relaxing week at this home! The house was clean and well-equipped. Enjoyed the convenience of the Swan River for kayaking, short ride to the rail trail for biking, and short drive to the beach. Quiet side street is super close to restaurants and grocery stores.

Large, clean home. Swan River view, televisions and pool table a plus!
The owner was quick to respond. We were happy that the linens and towels were included. The home is clean, plenty of beds, and the appliances are new. The 2 large screen televisions satisfied the movie watcher and video gamers in the family. We enjoyed Cape Cod, the shoreline, and the seafood. Took us 75 minutes to drive into Boston for a day trip. Thank you.
