About this house rental
The house is a beautiful Contemporary, four bedrooms w/ Loft (sleeps 10), three baths. New living room furniture in August 2021 and under new management. Fully furnished including cable TV, free wireless Internet, and DVD/VCR. In the resort area, close to the ski lodge, golf course, and restaurants; within a short drive of the internationally acclaimed Skyline Drive. The house has wood burning stove and a pellet stove. In addition, a Commercial grade treadmill is available. For more information or reservations, please call. What to do? Easy to get to everything around the Massanutten resort. Large entry foyer which was great for storing ski equipment indoors Driveway big enough to hold four cars!

Had a great family weekend… the property was great. Neighbors were very nice and talkative!! Trash was full when we got there but we took it out for the next guests and we couldn’t locate the baby gates. So ask before you go where things are that are listed but might not be left out.

After reading some mixed reviews of this property, I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with everything. The house was large and spacious. It was very clean. There was plenty of room for two families of five in the location just a few minutes outside of the ski resort was great. I would definitely stay here again if I were in the area.

Bathrooms outdated
Master bathroom stand up shower very very small. Dont know why when there is so much of space to make it bigger.
Need more chairs for the dining table
Only two TV's worked. But this could be a Pro since it forced the kids to interact with the family.
Overall we would stay at this property again.

This is a great house for family get togethers. There is plenty of room and the deck is wonderful!
Easy access to go back and forth to JMU. Loved the bedrooms and multiple places for people to stay.
We would go again!

this is a spacious home with a bathroom on every floor. Large kitchen and comfortable bedrooms (one is an open loft with uncovered sky light (best room for the early riser). Worked perfectly for parents weekend at JMU

This property was dirty, had mold, doors were broken, blinds were broken, the floors were sticky, the carpet was dirty, the sheet was dirty with stains on, the grille was dirty, drawers in the kitchen were nasty and dirty. We had to spend time cleaning washing sheets/towels, dishes. This property should not be rented out to the house is repaired and has gone thru some deep cleaning. We would have left however, we could not find a place on such short notice and we would be out of the funding spent on this property.

This property was dirty, had mold, doors were broken, blinds were broken, the floors were sticky, the carpet was dirty, the sheet was dirty with stains on, the grille was dirty, drawers in the kitchen were nasty and dirty. We had to spend time cleaning washing sheets/towels, dishes. This property should not be rented out to the house is repaired and has gone thru some deep cleaning. Over all the house itself was in good shape but the Amenities of the house wasn't there were Several broken Items all the dinning room chairs were broken the TVs in some of the rooms were not working the downstairs bathroom shower needs repair the living room couch needs to be replaced some or all the kitchen wear needs to be replace towels and wash cloths to be replace all were old also all the beds needs to be replace old and broken as nice as the house is it has alot of Issues the owner is a great host but house Amenities need to be updated great house quite area will love to stay there again if all the Amenities of house is updated

I liked the house but we did have a bunch of issues. No extra toilet paper, towels or garbage bags. Multiple broken items like chairs and beds. Cigarette butts on the deck. No batteries in the remotes or grill. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans and utensils but very in organized. The house would be great with a little TLC.

The house was nice but the leather furniture was peeling. It was a lot of dust and cobwebs. There was no toilet paper or trash bags. Would I stay there again yes but they need to have the house deep cleaned. I couldn’t find the remote controls to any TVs. The door handle going outside to the deck came off and the front door lock had screws coming out so we had to push them back in. I found old water bottles with juice under my bed. The skylight had water damage and peeling paint chipsThat could fall on the bed in the loft

The owner provided us an electric roaster to help with making our Thanksgiving dinner - which was very much appreciated and utilized. Communication with the owner was prompt and we had no issues during our stay.

When we arrived we noticed the loft bedroom had large paint chips all over the bed from the ceiling cracking above. Toilet on the main floor was filthy. The furniture is in need of replacement. Chairs at dining room table on their last legs. Living room leather couch is chipping away. Btw the Lobby area is just wonderful! But still a good stay

Overall, we had a wonderful time at the property. The owner and propert manager answered all of our questions and were flexible as well. The property itself is well maitained and equiped with some basic items. The living area and deck were nice and comfortable. The bedrooms comfortable also. The listing doesn't do it justice. Yet, the kitchen area could use a trash can and the house is deep in the neighborhood. But the neighborhood is quiet and there is a police station at the entrance.

Its a beautifull house and very big the only issue was that the house was not clean properly it was trash that was not from us the toilet were dirty we have to go to get some bleach to clean them ourselves it was no sings or cleaning i mean just because this covid going on the bathroom had mold i have a video of all the issues but the house is very big is pretty is just need to be cleaned before the arrival of the customer

The property was beautiful and very roomy. I was there with my husband and 3 sons and there was plenty of room for all of us. Kitchen was well appointed. We had some issues, but Michelle worked them out. If I ever get back to that area, I'll stay there again.
