Affordable accommodation

Clean accommodations. Check-in quick and attendant very polite. Several staff sweeping outside area and keeping pool clean.

Difficult to obtain drinks or vending machine snacks. The one machine only takes coins. We were out of coins as this was the end of our trip. Front desk attendant allowed me to purchase 3 drinks with bills. No supermarket nearby to purchase snacks/beverages. Area restaurants we tried (3) don’t serve food between 2pm-7pm. Long day especially for kids without food. Air conditioning takes the edge off the heat but didn’t work well. Felt like we were sweating in a sauna all night.

Great stay but expected a better air conditioner which actually cools the room!

Really cute property located in S Agnello, about 20 mins walking from Sorrento or 5 mins by a taxi or even 15 mins by the train. The location is not too bad. The beach is right there however groceries etc are appx 10 mins walking if not more. Cabs are expensive and hard to find so it's better to rent a bike or a car. The hosts at the property are extremely helpful and very welcoming.

The air conditioning in our room was below average. Super hot even though the ac was on. Everything else seemed alright!

Amazing family hotel. Excellent hospitality!

Amazing staff. Very nice and quiet location. Car parking with €10 per day. Very nice breakfast. The staff was willing to help us with anything we wanted.

Air-conditioning in the quadruple room could be better.

Good budget option

Affordable option - it used to be a convent and not is a family run B&B, room and facilities were clean, bed was comfortable, shower was good and they had a delicious home made breakfast. Staff was friendly and they have assisted us booking our tour to Capri and taxi to go to the station. The place has a swimming pool, but I didn`t have time to enjoy it and also a rental car/motorcycle on site.

2kms from Sorrento downtown (quite a good walk) and they also have no elevator - but when I booked I already knew that. A part from that nothing else.

Great place that is close to Sorrento with easy access to an amazing lookout for beautiful sunsets

The pool area was perfect because there were a bunch of lounge chairs that could be used. There is a garden area where you can hang out and eat / drink with your friends and other guests. The cleaning happens once a day, which is perfect and although the place is in Sant’Agnello, it’s only a 30 minute flat walk to the heart of Sorrento. Also, the family that run Porto Salvo are fabulous and so welcoming. We loved our stay with them.

It was loud during the evening and mornings when people were leaving / coming home, it didn’t seem like there was much soundproofing to the rooms. An extra pillow would have been ideal, but we also didn’t ask for one.

The location.

Pool was cold Breakfast was very good Rooms dated and bathrooms poor Linen on bed damaged General needs up grading and facilities up dating. Needs to have arrangements to get to town.

Absolutly amazing, loved the hammock in the the garden, the whole garden and b&b was beautiful.

Very homely and welcoming, breakfast was delicious, everyone working that was very polite and would also say hello in passing. absolutely we would return

We couldn’t get our AC to work but we brought a little fan so we weren’t too fussed. I’m sure if we mentioned it to anyone they would have resolved this issue but we weren’t really fussed.

Good

The location is really great, and the view from the window is stunning. The rooms are clean and beautiful. If you like sweet breakfast, then you will enjoy it.

At first, we couldn't come into the hotel, the staff was not responding and also there was a language barrier. But in the following days, problems were solved.

Great location, 5 minutes walk to the sea, amazing view from our room, big bathroom and a good breakfast. 10/10 Also there's privet parking for free and a nice pool

the noise level in the morning if you want a lie on you won’t get it . it isn’t the most relaxing place . cleaners start early and you hear everything

total disappointment

the breakfast was the only redeeming quality. the garden is a nice idea.

the entire hotel is a dump. the rooms have broken and loose and missing floor tiles, the windows leaked during the rain, the AC doesn’t work (we even asked for a room switch or fan and we’re told ‘it works’). there was no hot water at all for half of our trip. we looked for a new hotel as soon as we arrived but we’re t able to get any kind of refund and/or find a new place. the walk to sorrento is about 30 minutes which we knew but not worth the stay. I would have gone back to Naples it was so bad.

The staff was really friendly, the view by the seaside nearby amazing, the location was ok in a not too touristic suburb of Sorrento, but not far from the train station to reach Naples, Pompeii and Sorrento

The location is really good, but was necessary rent a scooter for better locomotion. The room was small than the photos, but was absolutely clean and the view was amazing. The breakfast wasn't good.

the views were beautiful from our room, the staff were so kind and helpful and the garden / pool area was pretty.

Was nice having a pool and view of the ocean with quaint backyard.

Further walk to main Sorrento. Also the air conditioning and coffee wasn't the greatest.

Great 4 days, the hotel is not much to look at from the outside but the staff and food make up for!

Location was perfect, staff was excellent and breakfast was great. All homemade!

AC could have been more efficient.

Porto Salvo was a monastery converted into a hotel and the view from our room overlooks the sea.

The management and staff were very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was excellent and super clean.

The transportation in Sant'Agnello is the problem as it was quite out of the way. Bus services are not reliable although it is stated on the schedule to be around 30 min. Taxis cost 20euros one-way! Upon arrival in Sorrento Town Center, the taxi insisted on charging 30euros for an 8 min ride to hotel! Found out that Sant'Agnello is considered another town from Sorrento hence the extra cost of taxi fare! The plus side is that Sant'Agnello has a lovely beach - Spiaggia La Marinella.

Disappointed

Basic rooms, nothing extraordinary.

Staff was extremely rude. They weren’t on top of their organization and went through our luggage. Extremely uptofessional and rude.
