Grody. Couldn't go shoeless in my own room

The location was about it. That's the reason I chose to book there, it was near an event I was attending.

The cleanliness and maintenance of the units was sub par- a leaking inlet in the poorly ventilated bathroom meant constant damp, no flyscreen on the bathroom window. Insect splatters and moths. The ancient hairdryer burnt out after 10 seconds, and is likely a fire hazard. The floors were gritty underfoot- they were given a cursory mop between guests, but in corners and under surfaces, bits of gunk, hair, dust, glitter and mostly gritty shoe leavings- no doormat, nowhere to put shoes. Bed itself ended up full of grit even though I used my towel as a rug to wipe feet on. No rugs of any kind to dampen the sounds of upstair guests . Unit above me was moving furniture around at 1am, and sweeping. Worst of all was the fire alarm that kept going off every few hours for twenty minutes before someone- usually cussing- came to shut it off. My checkout was 10am, but at 9:30 housekeeping came, knocked on my door lightly and announced themselves. When I responded that "I'm not checked out yet" they couldn't hear me and proceeded to start putting the pin in. I was not fully dressed yet, so I shouted "I'm still packing!" He replied "please leave the door open when you leave" Why are housekeeping knocking at 9:30? Provide do not disturbs and this won't be an issue. I felt rushed and as though I was a bother for still being in my room during my booked time! The tv was not connected to any wifi or ethernet, so nothing was actually watchable, but this may have been my own misunderstanding of the equipment. For the price, it's a lower range accommodation but they're cutting corners extremely in terms of good cleaning and general maintenance. I should have paid $70 to stay in a pub hotel.

I cannot recommend this apartment to anyone. Do not stay here.

Better than sleeping on the street

First: the property absolutely REEKED of bleach! I opened all the windows but couldn’t get the smell out. Very hard to be in the room. Second: Apart from the ceiling lights no other lights worked; neither bed lamp or the range hood light. Also the security/safety lights outside the building did not work and access was dangerous in the dark. Third: the bedspread was torn. Fourth: there was an iron but no ironing board. Fifth:There were no instructions I could find for the operation of the air conditioner or the tv. Sixth: the smoke alarm went off at least six times in the 15 hours I spent there. No idea who or how it was reset but was very loud while trying to sleep. Seventh: the walls and ceiling are paper thin. Any Noise travels between spaces. There is no privacy

Loud, Grotty Rip Off. Minus 1 star

The noise. I could hear the people upstairs clearly talking on the phone like it was in my room. I could clearly hear the conversations of the people next door as if the walls and floors were made from paper mache. I could even hear the blokes balls slapping as he was pounding his missus. I heard the banging of every door, including the foyer entry door, as people come and go from midnight to 4am. The uncleanliness, cup stains on the bedside table, and kitchenette. Blood spatter on the window architrave and wall. Spill marks on the floor near the fridge.The shower had No hot water. I could not empty the bathroom sink after brushing my teeth. The hum of electric motors vibrating the wall intermittently at the head of the bed. The room booked was not like the photo, no balcony. The air freshener was so strong, I lost my sense of taste and smell. The bed was so soft, I felt like I was in a hammock. I paid for two nights but had to book another place elsewhere for the second night as I had very little sleep and could not stay a minute more. So upset and disappointed. I should get a full refund or at least get reimbursed for the second night that I was not there. Parking only for 3 vehicles. Possible fines for on street parking.

Was awesome overall easily accessible & comfortable ideally located

True to the pictures & was simple straightforward communication to access codes for the property with text messages

Get new cleaners. Filthy

Absolutely gross. There was snot on the walls. Dirt on the floor. There was black hair on the bathroom floor I had to wear thongs in the shower. The bed sheets had stains on it. When I asked them to clean the room again stating all of this stuff they did not clean any of it. Still had the same stained sheets and dirty pillow that appeared to never been washed. Completely revolting.

Cleaner room! Would’ve been so much better if it was actually clean. Dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

I paid for something I couldn’t use I was so angry I phoned up the apartments before I booked and I specifically asked do u have car parks as I was driving my daughters car from Melbourne to cairns and was full of her stuff I was told their is parking so I said ok will book when I drove there I phoned them up and asked where is rest of the parking their were 3 tiny car parks for 16 apartments they said that’s it just park at the group of shops near their I said I can’t take that risk then for 2 hours looked everywhere to phone up booking .com intone end my daughter booked me somewhere as by now I had travelled 12 hours and stuffed around with your apartments

The guy I spoke to on phone about where I was going to park was just like stiff not our problem. Don’t have much money and helping my daughter escape a bad situation and this happens

They need to hire new cleaners that actually know how to clean

I used to like the property but not this time it was disgusting and a waste of my money couldn’t even sleep on the bed

I couldn’t even stay there I wasted my money for 2 nights as there was blood stains on the towels and mould all over the bed so not sleepable unless I want to see the lung specialist also the floors were dirty as soon as I took my shoes off and walked 3 steps I had crumbs and dirt all over my feet I rang and reported it to reception they told me to email them pics and they will get back to me well no one has and they never bothered to change me rooms or reimburse me

Read the reviews before you book! This place is not clean.

Besides the location there is nothing to like about this property.

This accomodation is not clean at all! I wanted to leave and paid wayyy too much money to stay here.

Great value for money. Suited to short term stays

The cleanliness of the apartment and location was great. Communication was also brilliant, very easy check in.

Minor issues but cannot really complain since the location was great and the price was excellent

The facilities were good - full size fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster, kettle, pots and pans and other cooking needs. The bathroom had a good shower. The bed was comfortable. The wifi is free. The rooms were spacious and well set out with table and chairs, television, and kitchen,

The toilet seat was broken, it was usable but a bit uncomfortable. The light from the foyer was very bright and shone into the room via a sizeable gap under the door so it was a bit hard to sleep until I put a towel over the gap. The door code I was initially given didn't work and I needed to call to get a new one issued.

Good location

Floor was filthy. There was dirt, hair and chewing gum on the floor. The room also smelt like garbage. Pipe in the bathroom was poorly fixed with duct tape, so it leaked on the floor any time you used it.

So much potential, had a lift to make it accessible, can see that it has been refurbished

Was dirty, had hair on our "clean" bed sheets, luckily we cough our own pillows, smelt like someone had been smoking in the room, burn marks on the bed cover.

Crackhead central, since there is no reception at this location a lot of people on drugs stay here and I was up all night from hearing people fight and I also found a syringe under my bed

If you want to be kept up by crack heads all night see a police operation there another it’s the place to go

It was ok for last minute booking close to hospital

The price was ok

There was no parking for an suv other than out on the road or in the shopping centre car park !! Could have been a little cleaner !! And you could hear every other room when they used the microwave or made any form of noise in their room !! Also you could hear the toilet and shower water coming down the pipes from the room above !! And the smoke alarms went off in the building about 1am

This apartment was in a great location,ideal for a couple .

Perfectly located,room was on the second floor,bonus. Bed was amazing so comfortable .

Pretty much liked most of what was there,but the wardrobe door needs fixed ,simple really .

Very poor, will not stay there agin

Location was helpfull

The room was smaller than expected, lots of noise from other units especially the unit above, needs a spare blanket as what was on the bed was insufficient to stay warm, kitchen needs a clean as the draws and everything in them was filthy, and food was left over in draws.

Did not suit what I was looking for.

Nothing actually

Hard to find .. safe parking was available only on street and asked for ground level but had to going up flights of stairs .. felt unsafe and rooms did not feel clean - linen was not fresh. I saw the room and left and stayed elsewhere.
