Baywatch House is a waterfront home ideally suited for a Chincoteague Island vacation. Facing South looking over the water is the living room, dining room, kitchen, master bedroom and one of the other two bedrooms, a 50'+ deck with grill, lounge chairs, and dining area. The outside dining area is within view of the wonderful sunsets to the west and waterfront to the south.. Weber grill with all the tools provided. There is a large bonus room with dining areas facing North and West so beautiful views of sunsets are possible Main living space: There are 3 bedrooms: Master bedroom has a comfortable king bed with 2 closets and private bathroom with a walk in shower & 6' soaking tub. Waterfront Bedroom #2 has a comfortable queen bed and direct access to a Jack and Jill bathroom with a tub/shower combo. Salt Marsh Estuary View Bedroom #3 has a queen bed & twin daybed with direct access to Jack and Jill bathroom shared with BR #2. The 3rd 3 piece Bathroom has a shower and is downstairs next to the laundry room. Nice bed linens, towels, washcloths, hair dryers and bath soaps are provided. Starter paper products are provided for both the kitchen and baths. Oversized Washer & Dryer with laundry detergent are located on the ground floor. Wireless Internet Beach chairs, beach towels, cooler are provided.

The property has incredible views, in a peaceful location and easily accessible to the historic downtown. The weather was a bit chilly so we were able to enjoy fabulous fires in the large open living space! We were in town for my birthday celebration which coincided with the Christmas Parade, that truly everyone in town participated in! Our host Jane was so accommodating and very responsive to any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to a group of friends or larger family to enjoy, Such a friendly and welcoming town!

We saw the private-herd ponies the first afternoon and numerous birds from the comfort of the living room, including late-migrating yellow-rumped warblers and resident egrets, white ibises, great blue herons, herring gulls, oyster catchers and napoleon gulls. Peaceful and tranquil location. The WiFi service was spotty and the TV is older technology so we couldn’t cast to it, but these were minor issues. We had a nice fire each night. Great break overall and we hope to return in the spring.

There is no other property on the island that has everything that Baywatch has to offer - it is unmatched. Where else can you awake to a stunning sunrise over Oyster Bay while watching a dozen wild ponies grazing peacefully a mere 10 feet from your deck - we were in awe! We saw them almost daily during our week-long stay, either bayside or along the salt marsh estuary on the opposite side of the house, which is a birder's paradise. The home itself is lovely and flooded with light - it is beautifully appointed and welcoming and has everything one might need in the abundant cupboards. Jane is the perfect host - unobtrusive yet available immediately if you have a question (her brother is actually the town's Mayor - Jane has a wealth of knowledge of Chincoteague). From the tranquility and privacy of the exquisite setting yet quick and easy access to restaurants and shops, you will find nothing that compares. I found tears flowing throughout our stay in awe and wonder of the gift and blessing of this magical place. We cannot wait to bring our family with us the next time to experience the magic.

This home is so beautiful, warm, inviting and extremely quiet. The views are amazing and nature surrounds you. Ponies visited us on 2 days and the friendly gray cat hopped up on the deck quite frequently. Jane was a wonderful host, very responsive and helpful. Take the Cowboy Cruise with Hunter. It was unforgettable!

The place was incredible, the views from the deck are breathtaking, and the location is so peaceful and quiet. Plenty of space for at least 6 people, lots of spots to relax and enjoy the views. Master bathroom was a personal highlight, as well as the visits from a cute chubby cat! We saw a few wild horses and plenty of birds. Highly recommend this property!

My favorite place was out on the deck under the stars, seeing the Chincoteague Lighthouse light, and hearing the distant surf (Yes! You can hear the waves crashing on the Assateague shoreline from this house.) I brought my own kayak and actually launched it from the backyard--but it was a challenge. There's a wharf but a boardwalk to get to the water's edge would have been a great feature. I saw ponies across the way, through binocs. And so many Great Herons in the front marsh! Lovely vacation. We'll be back for sure.

We went for the pony swim. House is perfect. Views are great, location is private and quiet but still only 5 minutes from the “downtown” part of the island. Would 100% come back. Neighborhood Horses wandered into our yard every morning and the kids caught crabs off the dock. Couldn’t ask for a better spot.

We had a fabulous stay in Chincoteague! The house was clean and updated and perfect for our family of 5. Our 3 year old loved the window bed. We stayed in early spring, and found it a great time to visit the island - minimal bugs, but lots of birds and wildlife. The weather was chilly, but we had a great time bike riding and hiking on Assateague. The views from this house are stunning. You're either looking out at the bay or the creek. We had fun watching the horses from the porch, but my 3 year particularly enjoyed the neighborhood cat. Jane went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great! I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we go back to Chincoteague!

Jane’s house was amazing. It was very well stocked with all the basics, which was very convenient. Jane went above and beyond with wonderful smokeless fire pit and for hooking us up with a pot for a seafood boil. The views were absolutely amazing. We loved seeing the ponies. Would definitely stay here again!

Thank you Jane for a wonderful stay in your beautiful, comfortable home with spectacular views! We felt very fortunate that the ponies visited the property most days. Along with the ibises, egrets and a bushy tailed fox, it is a nature lovers dream! And kitty visited (a lot!). So much to do in the area, but be sure to visit the quaint shops on Main Street and the nature trail down the side street by the high school is a lovely little path, natural to the left, paved to the right. History lovers will enjoy a stop at the Captain Timothy Hill House along the road to the house too. Bonuses for us at the house - lots of glass leftovers containers since we like to cook, the soaking tub, a real wood burning fireplace, and cozy quick working heat for those chilly nights. One of our top VRBO rentals!

We were looking for a quiet please to unwind without giving up any of the comforts of home. Simply lovely. High quality linens and towels, fabulous location, views, views, views. Master bath has awesome tub and shower. Cozy but elegant coastal decor. We loved it, there were just two of us. It was winter and cold. Still enjoyed. Enchanting weekend, ate dinner at Bills, listened to music at Don’s across from Bills. Saw some Ponies! Fabulous !

We had a great five-day stay around New Year’s Eve at this house. The location is fantastic: surrounded by water, great sunrises and sunsets, lots of birds, and even the ponies showed up. The house was perfectly clean and in very good condition. It had everything we needed. Moreover, Jane is a great host. It was great and easy to communicate with her. We are certainly keeping this place on our radar for future stays. Marc

The house was really beautiful - cozy and well-equipped. The views were really gorgeous - though sadly, we didn't see ponies. We adored the gorgeous grey cat who came to visit, however. We would have preferred to be able to go to the house without stopping at the Inn and were confused when we got communication from the Inn. Once we were there, though, it was so everything we wanted in a get-away! We'd definitely go back!! Thank you!!

This house had such and open air effect. Tons of windows, views on both sides and from all the windows. You are basically surrounded by water. The horses were in the pasture right behind house several times and provided awesome photo opportunities. You are not allowed to interact but we just enjoyed watching them. The house was clean and all essentials were there.
