The check in was so easy and the setting very comfortable.

Wonderful owner! It's actually her house she rents. It felt I was at home. It has all the needed things, wifi was working perfectly.
You might be afraid to see that you're right by train tracks. Never heard anything at night. The line is probably only used for Princess cruises, so it wasn't an issue.
It is actually by a runway for the bushplane. No issues with that either.
Thank you Cindy! Keep being a hero and a warrior! You're amazing!

clean and comfortable on the inside, full facilities for cooking and laundry. Cindy was very hospitable and helpful
35 minute drive to Denali National Park, limited services nearby and the outside of the Runway House is kind of junky. we almost didn’t go in because of how the outside looks but the inside was fine. also the steps up to the house are a bit steep for someone with limited mobility, but there are only 2.

BEWARE!!! Health concern because of smell of heating oil. The pictures are outdated on booking.com. The bar is in shambles. Called to get refund and never called back after complaining about the smell and how poorly it was compared to booking.com. They also took money from my account months before the stay.

Very funny place. A small house just behind a plane runway. The house has all facilities you need.

Object location 40 minutes drive from entrance to Denali.

It was a little cold. A few breakfast items available to fix yourself. No dinner or lunch options.

Location was good at the start of the Denali highway. The owner was very nice and made us feel right at home. The house was clean and Cynthia made us feel right at home.
For the area, the price was good.
There wasn’t much around there but this was a small village so not surprising.

Very clean. Very quiet.

Very friendly host. Nice to have anything at this location.
Don't expect a 3 star hotel look, but comfort was as good.

2nd best view in Alaska trip!
Little barn smell at first but didn’t feel it later.

Cynthia was an excellent host. She's kind and genuine. She had plenty of breakfast options and the room was very Comfortable.
At first glance the house doesn't seem inviting, but once you get inside it's much more comfortable. Remember you're not paying for 5 star accommodation but you will get 5 star hospitality.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided a well stocked kitchen. You will share the house with two staff members but their welcoming attitude made our stay feel like we were visiting friends, making us feel like we were staying in a home away from home.
The mosquitos in Alaska are relentless in June. Make sure to have plenty of bug spray because they seemed to be even more voracious in Cantwell then other places we stayed in Alaska.

It was a short driving distance to Denali. The view out the front door was looking at the mountain range. The kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed. Breakfast was offered. Bathroom was clean. Security to enter into the house was good. The manager, the view out the front door and location was great.
You had to drive on an active runway to get to the house. You had to enter the house through a storage area. We had to ask for a curtain to be placed on the window. The bedroom door was coming off the hinges.

Breakfast options were varied and delicious. There was always a fresh pot of coffee waiting for us in the morning. Cynthia was very friendly! We enjoyed our chats with her and Norm. It was very homey and we would stay there again.
The bedroom we stayed in had curtains, but black-out curtains would be awesome if you're not used to the summers in Alaska.

The host was very accommodating and we enjoyed our stay! The rooms were big enough for two of us. And, we had plentiful options for breakfast in the morning. The surrounding views were an added bonus. I would visit again.

Poor value for room

Visited this place for the 2nd time. It's a really great value for the money for Alaska - just believe me. Everything you need for a comfortable stay (including clean facilities, kitchen and nice common area), half-hour drive to Denali, amazing views. Next time visiting Denali - definitely staying here again.
I wouldn't say it was warm enough in Room D (visited on Sept 10). Not sure if there's additional source of heat available. It didn't bother us too much though.

Everything was awesome. The host was very nice. Location is about 30 minutes away from Denali National Park. Saw the Northern Lights at night right outside the building.

It was clean and all the supplies you might need were there. And when I texted them to ask if it could be made warmer, it seems to have happened, even though I was asleep when it did.
This place was very, very strange. Almost no signage, and no one there when I arrived. I never actually saw a staff member myself. It was like walking into someone's empty house, staying there for a night, and then just leaving. Oh, and you had to drive a short way on an active Runway to get to the house. Now I understand the name.

The house inside was very comfortable, clean, and I thought charming. There was plenty of options for breakfast but our busy schedule didn’t give us time for breakfast. The host was excellent, very friendly and helpful in every way. I was very impressed and pleased with my stay.
Better directions would help, our gps couldn’t pick up the location.

The variety of choices for breakfast. Cynthia's pleasant way about her. She came through when we needed her. My wife and I also enjoyed chatting with her other guests. Very like minded. The restaurant nearby(associated with Runway House) had great food at reasonable prices.
The nearby gas station had higher gas prices than others.

We loved the Alaskan decor and books. Bed was very comfortable and plenty of heat to knock the chill off. Good 📺 with plenty of channels.
Parking lot was so muddy I just left my bags in the vehicle and only took necessities in with me. Husband heard the train. I was sleeping too sound.
