Nous avons aimé la maison en elle-même, grande aux pierres claires, la décoration, le confort du lit la qualité du linge, le petit-déjeuner raffiné, le calme, et la gentillesse de l'hôte
Le seul bémol était le mauvais temps, car la Rochelle sous le soleil est très agréable

The beds were extremely comfortable, the breakfast was tasty and varied, and the pool was very welcome on a hot summers day

We had a good French breakfast, every day with fresh and different bread. Delicious home made jams.
The house is located in a quiet area and only 15 minutes walk to the old centre. We got a list of good restaurants and map of Ile de Ré.

Lovely house and beautiful garden with a delightful small pool. Catherine is a charming and attentive host and made our stay very relaxing. Excellent continental breakfast served on the terrace every morning was perfect.

Our host was excellent, such a warm kind lady, very informative couldn’t do enough for us. Breakfast was great, central to La Rochelle with a bus stop 50 m away if required. Had the most lovely time. Would certainly recommend this family home 🥰

A beautiful and very tastefully decorated old house in a lovely quiet street only 10 minutes easy walk to the town, or through a gorgeous park to the beach. Catherine, the host, is very kind and provides everything you need including a fabulous breakfast at her big table in her lovely dining room.
The bed linen and towels were high quality and the bed was huge and very comfortable. This was one of the very nicest places we have ever stayed in anywhere.

The property was centrally located which meant we could walk in every direction within the city. Beautiful old style French urban property with a terrace and pool which were very private. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The most important aspect of this property was the host Catherine who was very gracious and kind and provided a beautiful breakfast every morning with fresh fruit, home made jam, cheeses and breads to die for. We could not recommend this property enough and it made our stay very memorable. We will be returning next year.

We loved our stay at Le Clos Bleu. Catherine was a very welcoming host and we really enjoyed the garden and the pool. Lovely breakfast too!

An absolutely beautiful period house with large and well appointed rooms. After a week in a mobile home, to have a bed as comfortable as ours back home was most welcome. The house also boasts a private garden area and plunge pool that is perfect to cool off in after exploring La Rochelle. Catherine is a kind and considerate host. Merci Madame!

We had a warm greeting from Catherine, we felt very comfortable and the house is beautiful
The swimming pool is bigger than it looks in the photo! plenty of room to splash around after sunbathing in the lovely flowered garden.
our room had a quiet but effective fan, en-suite bathroom with a decent shower and was exceptionally clean
it's a pretty walk from the house to the town centre, around 10 minutes
We met some other guests here and everyone was friendly, the twilight hours are perfect for socialising in the walled garden
I would definitely recommend staying here!

Everything was perfect, the hostess was so helpful, welcomed us and gave us maps of the area. The location is within walking distance of the city center. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. We even used the swimming pool and enjoyed the lovely garden. The place was spotless and very tastefully decorated. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.
