This is a great cabin close to everything in the Tannenbaum Resort area. Golfing, Greers Ferry Lake, and there's plenty of space for the WHOLE family here! The main house has 2,056 sf, with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There's a fully equipped kitchen area with large open kitchen, dining and living area with high vaulted ceilings, large flat screen TV and large wrap around deck, partially covered. Main/bottom level has 2 bedrooms, both w/ queen beds, upstairs has a nice open loft sitting area with sleeper sofas and 1 large bedroom with a queen bed, and a living room area with a sleeper sofa and a large flat screen TV. Garage apartment has another 1,073 sf with 3 bedrooms and 1 bath. 1 bedroom has 2 twin beds and other 2 bedrooms have queen beds, and a living area with a TV, dining table, and sleeper sofa. Hardwood and tile floors throughout. Set up to sleep 13 comfortably, in beds, but more on sleeper sofas if you'd like. There is also a charcoal grill outside, and a fire-pit in the backyard. Come and enjoy a weekend, week, or month(s) at Almost Heaven, and enjoy the wildlife and outdoors! Please note that there is no wifi available at this location. There is DirecTV though!

Really nice retreat. The rooms above the garage had either a gasoline or kerosene smell. Other than that, it was a very nice place to stay. We will be coming back again. Thank you so much for a nice escape from the real world

The photos in this listing does not do the house justice. It was spacious and we wished our stay was longer. The kitchen was centralized, so everyone who was cooking could still be apart of the activities. The dining table was large enough to allow us to place the food out as well as play board and card games. A bonus that wasn't mentioned in the description was the ice maker in the freezer. It made plenty of ice for our group and we did not have to go out and buy extra. Although we didn't use the fire pit area in the back yard, we did go out and look out the yard. Now I will mention the only cons. Some of the artwork depicted confederate uniformed personnel. I understand being in the south, some people are descendants of confederates, but if you are a guest who would be offended by this then be wary because there were at least three large pieces of artwork that depicts confederate scenes. A family member even mentioned how they didn't feel welcome in this house because of the artwork. I did mention this post stay to the homeowner following our stay. Also the walls are thin in the main house so if someone is taking a late night shower upstairs, then the downstairs person staying in the room near the bathroom can hear everything. Oh and the room across the bathroom in the main house, the bed is a water bed. Keep that in mind. The confederate artwork really bothered me especially given the racial issues Drasco, AR and Heber Springs, AR is known for.

We had 9 guys up for a golf outing. The house was just right. We had 4 guys in the main house and 5 above the garage. We could have added 1 or 2 more and still not felt on top of each other. If you have couples, then you can probably have about 14 people or so before it gets too cozy. Everything worked as it should. We did have an issue with the hot water in the bathroom above the garage. I emailed the property manager and we had a response within 20 minutes and we were able to flip the switch to turn it back on and we were good to go. Plenty of room out back if you want to play games such as cornhole or washers or anything else. It was hot while we were there but the air conditioning and fans worked great. Really a nice place for larger groups.

All was fine. The only disappointment was not being able to purchase the AR Razorback football game with LSU. Direct TV required we give a code which was not available to us, but we won the game anyway! Everything else was great.

The property was good , but there are were some hiccups. The PM agreed to our 11:00 am checkin on Sunday morning and said that a cleaning person would be at the cabin when we arrived to give us the keys. There was no one at the cabin, we were able to finally track down someone to get the keys to us. Once in the cabin we realized the water was turned off, had to search to find the valve for turning on the water. The last hiccup was that the water heaters were turned off (electric), so again we had to search both the main house and loft above the garage to find breakers/switches to turn on the water heaters. There was no mention of these items on the "Rules of the House" posted inside the cabin. The cabin itself was fine, but the kitchen area is a small. With more than one person in the kitchen area, you would constantly bump into each other.

We had a wonderful time. This cabin is not on the water, but the woods and secluded feeling makes it the perfect place to hide. And when you want to get to the water, the community loading dock and parking area is just a short drive away. This home can sleep many, many people. There are two couches in the living room that can easily sleep two, the landing area in the main house has two couches, and there is a large room above the garage that you can put several blow-up mattresses in. Bobby, the manager, is easily accessible during our stay. You'll need to take the groceries you need with you. Basic grocery access is about 12 miles away, but larger store access will have to be Mountain View, Batesville or Heber Springs. The home is located in Tannenbaum, a development started in the 60s, with still much undeveloped areas. The Tannenbaum golf course is absolutely beautiful..every hole is its own slice out of beautiful forest that surrounds it. There is a Tannenbaum grass strip for those that fly. Our first time to stay but we will definetely come again. Boat rental available from the Heber Springs Marina, and they will drive over to pick you up -- saves your the car drive into Heber. Tell them you want them to pick you up at Tannenbaum near Point 3. That's the Tannenbaum dock located off Tannenbaum Road.
