Location was perfect. Unfortunately it was just too short of a stay. Set up was a little quirky with to separate entrances. But it worked

Location and view were great. Check in a little confusing . Unaware that could not get in 2 mins before 4 as door was on a time lock entry. Other than that, great time

Not deep cleaned, ant problem, upstairs is not accessible from downstairs bedroom and 1/2 bath, pictures did not portray property accurately, furniture uncomfortable and old, outdoor furniture and decks are weathered and ugly, stairs were steep, driveway very steep, view and location are SPECTACULAR! Home left ALOT to be desired!!! So disappointed for the exorbitant price!!!!

The view is amazing! And during the day the view is incredible from the hot tub as well. The most difficult part of the home is the two floors being separated through the outside only, but otherwise its a really nice place and was clean and didn't smell of any pets. We had a great time as a family.

Downstairs does have separate access, which could problematic if traveling with younger kids as you have to exit home to move between floors and the property is on the hwy. Overall, very nice property with beautiful views and well stocked kitchen and toiletries. We definitely hope to return next year.

Great spot but a little more worn down than the pictures show

House was just ok. Fridge was broken upon arrival and they had a mini fridge set up in the living room for our 5 days stay. I had to call and pretty much demand they get us a fridge that evening. It was 4pm. House is very small. We had 4 people upstairs (bc kids wouldn’t sleep downstairs) and it was super tight. You have to go outside to get down stairs. And it smelled like urinal cakes down there. My 6ft tall husband was ducking as he walked downstairs. Beds were not comfortable. Bring anything you might need as the home pretty much had plates and silverware. Restaurants actosss the street is amazing though

Its really difficult to get in and out of the driveway. The main bedroom had a stong urine odor and the second bedroom had a broken door knob and a stained mattress. The bath tub wouldn't hold water. The hot tub was nice and the view is amazing. There were also plenty of dishes. We could have used a couple more towels.

The property is nicely located and the whale watching view was great. The place itself is in need of TLC. Had trouble getting into the lock box, the grill wouldn't light, there was a wet pee spot on the downstairs couch that they tried unsuccessfully to clean and had to call maintenance twice. The response was good and helpful. There were also ants both upstairs and down coming in the front door. The spray oil can was empty. It did meet our needs for sleeping accomodations. The hot tub and fireplace were nice.

Family outing last minute. Good time in depot Bay Area.

Very nice place. Location is walking distance from shopping, restaurants and beach!

The house was really clean with a great view. It is right off the main road through town and traffic starts running early. Several steep steps to get up to the house, so my mom only went in and out once a day. The downstairs bedroom is only accessible by going outside and down the stairs. We still enjoyed our stay, but would have picked something else if we had known these things.

We only stayed one night but the house is nice and in a great location

The house has a great view looking over boiler Bay. The house is accommodating for our two families with enough space and comfortable beds. The kitchen had no plastic cups or bowls for kid friendly usage. It would have been nice to know that the water was not drinkable, even with the extra filter spouts, the water was salty and terrible. Definitely a useful piece of information to tell people so they can bring water. Hot tub was nice but also salty water and was stuck in Sleep mode the first night. Would be nice if we came to a hot tub and not a cold tub we had to figure out how to work. House could use a deep clean, as there were dusty rooms and dirty walls. We brought a baby so cleanliness is important. Overall we would rent it again for the private driveway the kids could ride scooters on and lots of space for big families. Just bring your own bottled water!

Nice place great location saw the down stairs had own entrance didn't realize it ONLY has it own entrance. You can not get from one floor to the other with our going outside so that was a bit chilly but doable. Would have been a concern if we had the kids with us.

We wanted a place that could accommodate our larger family and was close to our charter boat location. The home was great. Although it sits on a busier street, we were able to relax and enjoy our views of the ocean.

The view from the living room and the hot tub is amazing. Three big issues with the house: 1. Furniture is all way to low including the beds. Older folks or people of any size are very uncomfortable. 2. You have to go outside in order to get from first floor to second floor. Not fun in pouring rain. 3. The driveway really only fits 1 car and is at an almost impossible steep angle. While the view and location was great we will not be back.

The property is right on hwy 101 so unfortunately it is loud if you are trying to relax in the deck to watch the ocean. The views from the top floor are really nice. The space reminds me more of two neighboring apartments rather than one house. Not a big deal if you it’s a bunch of friends hanging out but would be more of an inconvenience for families. The property is managed by a property group which if there is an issue states they will make a work order for it. The downstairs TV didn’t work which wasn’t a huge problem, but the staff didn’t seem t care either. The hot tub also took all day and night to heat up. Overall it is a decent place to stay especially if you only need a place to regather and sleep.

The space in the house was perfect for us. Each group had a bathroom. It was the best stocked kitchen I have ever rented from popcorn popper to strainer plus so much more We made good use of the hot tub too. Could not have been better.

Property shows some signs of wear and tear. This would be ok if you weren’t charging ratesnsimilar to those of five star hotels. Additionally the hot tub which is a major focal point of the listing was inoperable.

This place could've been amazing. Loved the view and all the amenities it offered. Very clean! However, we spent the extra money to have a hot tub with a view, because it was our anniversary, but the hot tub was not even on. We instantly notified the management, who said they would have maintenance out the next day. I reached out again and they never notified anyone. Very disappointing. Was not worth the cost for the hot tub not working. If you have pets or a large family and don't want the hot tub, this could work for you.

The handle fell off the kitchen sink faucet and threatened to do the same in the hall bath. there is peeling paint and numerous stains on the woodwork. The downstairs is accessible only by going to the outside stairs. The management company is not good to deal with and is very slow. The request for hangers and hand towels of which there were none was filled as we were leaving.

We loved Depoe Bay and enjoyed our stay at this house. The house looks like it has been recently remodeled, but is now starting to show some wear. Views were spectacular. We wish we would have known that the third bedroom with two beds was not directly accessible from the main house…. Had to walk outside, down a flight of stairs and enter from the driveway. This wasn’t a problem for us, but would have been if our kids were younger.

Great place, had no major issues - power was out for a bit but not due to the property. Electrical work was being done nearby.

We booked this house for two nights to celebrate my brother's graduation weekend! It slept 8 adults (with one sleeping on the sofa bed downstairs). We mostly only used the downstairs part of the unit to sleep, since it is separate from the rest of the house. However, the upstairs was comfortable to congregate and play games, watch TV, and whale watch. The highlight was probably the hot tub- my partner and I had a great time sitting in the hot tub with binoculars looking for whales and seals in the bay. The property is a short walk from my grandparent's favorite restaurant/bar "Graice's Sea Hag", where their favorite singer Michael Dane performs on Friday and Saturday evenings. The house was clean and instructions for check in/ check out were very simple- we didn't ever need to contact management since evrything was laid out nicely. A couple things to note, especially if you're traveling with dogs- the backyard is not fenced and the house is close to a busy road (hwy 101). We always leash our dogs outside anyways so we didn't mind, but people do zoom by. Parking was slightly challenging too, just because the paved driveway can only really fit one large vehicle (probably two small ones)- so large groups probably need to park on the street, which again, is a bit of a dangerous road. Additionally, there is no shower downstairs, so it can be slightly awkward for people using the downstairs unit having to go outside on the way to/from the shower. That being said- totally worth the price and we would absolutely stay again!
