ABSOLUTELY 💯% BEAUTIFUL 😍

Absolutely everything it was beautiful I would say it’s best place I’ve stayed in longed time and I stay a lot of places 😁😁😁

While a beautiful village, it was a beautiful house..would like to go back and stay longer .

Property was beautiful , furnished and decorated well. Style and lay out was lovely..

My Daughter slept on the sofa on towels and a blanket as no duvet cover, sheets or pillow case was left out. No fresh smell of cleanliness, house smelled of a fry-up! Downstairs kitchen lights did not work, and a sticky plaster was covering the switch. Standard of cleaning was very poor.. for a modern house.

Looked so nice on the photos

Kitchen - not clean Lighting - not all working Furniture - tired and scuffed Bed - not usable, no mattress, just foam and a topper. Had to sleep on sofa bed downstairs

The location was lovely, had this have been well maintained, the place would have been lovely.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower/dressing room was nice.

We had no contact regarding collecting the key, even after the arrival time, we had to search for these ourselves. The owner eventually got in touch at 22:38. The place was very unclean, dusty and smelt like wet dog. The cups, plates etc all had to be washed before we could use them as they were so unclean. The fridge had to be cleaned. Draw fronts were hanging off and blinds had fell down. The bin was filthy. I have attached photos.

Dirty and uncomfortable

Bed was very uncomfortable it was like trying to sleep in quick sand. Anyone a bit older than us (60 ish) probably wouldn’t have been able to get out of it without help. The only nice thing was the tv channels!

The bed- we couldn’t sleep The wobbly spiral staircase and the fact that the owner didn’t reply to the messages and bring the clean tea towel that we asked for to wash the crockery before we could use it!

very disappointed, property is nothing like advertised

in the area I wanted to be in filthy property, smelt awful, door and drawer doors pulled off glass coffee table was chipped and I sliced my foot open bled all over the floor £95 a night was ridiculous

We only stayed 2 nights for a wedding in the local area so we put up with the issues

Excellent shower room

Bolt on spiral stairs loose the whole staircase felt unsafe. Pots dusty, microwave and cooker not clean.bed uncomfortable.

Location and property were great

The place was filthy, there wasn't enough cutlery, it hadn't been cleaned, the hoover was unaccessable, it was badly maintained and the spiral staircase was dangerous and wobbly, door handle fell off, drawer wouldn't shut, breakfast bar pole not secured and there were no contact details in the property. I contacted the host through booking.com but heard nothing. I phoned booking.com on the Monday I returned, they tried to contact the host but no luck. So I was offerer £20 in booking.com vouchers that can only be used in certain properties - quite frankly an insult! So disappointing from booking.com they told me they are just an advertising platform , which I understand however I had a filthfy property with no support and booked through them and have been a loyal customer for over 10 years. I feel really let down by them and I am extremely reluctant to use them again.

The location

The house had not been cleaned. The bedding was sparse and smelt moisty. Kithcen items dirty or chipped or broken the bannister at the top of the spiral stair case wasn't secure and is detached from the wall

Disappointing

Nice lighting, bright spots and cosy lamps. Great location for a wedding at Northwood House.

Not very clean, duvet way too small for the bed, no shower gel, remote didn’t work for the tv in the bathroom. These are common complaints in the other reviews but nothing seems to have been done about any of it.

the size of the property, the facilities were excellent there was everything you would possibly need. The location was perfect

The narrow spiral stairs up to the bedroom & bathroom took getting used to.

Adequate for.our requirements for the weekend

Location, near to town.

Niggly things. Front door key was really difficult to use to lock and unlock. There is no instruction pack for using equipment in the property. Someone like me who is not very tech savvy (TV, heating Tec) it would be helpful. The large king size bed didn't have a quilt or fitted sheets that were the correct size Otherwise, all good.

A quirky cottage that, with more attention to detail, could be excellent.

Quirky little place, ideal for a short stay and in a good location.

Cleanliness - teaspoons were dirty, tablecloth soiled, bathroom door slashed and marked. Bed was huge - shame that the bed linen wasn’t. Shower impressive but towels inadequate in number and thin. The fronts of the drawers in the kitchen fell off when opened and the kitchen was poorly equipped. Little details let it down.

Overhaul more than happy with our stay & if in area again would revisit.

Great location for our needs. Able to walk to Southwell Minister & town easily. Very convenient for shops, cafe's, pubs, & restaurants. No need for taxis & parking plentiful on street at side of property. Great value for money for two & exceptional value for four with having sofabed in lounge. Owner seemed to have covered everything that may be needed including an umbrella.

A little tired looking perhaps, nothing major. Spiral stairs not suitable for all.

Perfect- everything I'd hoped for

I loved this little place - I didnt want to leave. Such a cute little house I enjoyed relaxing watching Netflix in a self contained living, dining kitchen area. The spiral staircase led me to the bedroom with a lovely comfortable bed. Gorgeous mirrors & fabulous modern decor throughout...then a lovely large shower & dressing room & a separate bathroom with a bath & a TV!!! I was in my own little heaven. Would stay there again without a doubt. Everything you need to either self cater or theres plenty of take out places nearby. Its close to the road but it didnt bother me & I could park right outside. I stayed alone but felt very safe & secure. Really Impressed - I will be back!

Good location but a deep clean is needed

Location was excellent, apartment was well laid out, facilities were good. Appreciated the Netflix and Prime accounts on the TV in particular.

Apartment was dirty. Cleaning was obviously just a light wipe down between guests. Visible layers of dust on surfaces, grime on others where cleaning product has been sprayed but not wiped, dead hair in room corners. Mattress was old and sagging. Door key was easy to retrieve but difficult to use. Door lock was old and misaligned. Lots of jiggling needed to both lock and unlock. Frustrating.
