Seamless! The owners were responsive to our questions and had the condo setup with everything we needed to make the unit our home away from home for 2 weeks. Loved it!

The La Jolla is a great place to stay. The property is clean and well-maintained, owners and guests are friendly and welcoming and the community feels very safe. The security staff are friendly and visible. The landscaping is beautiful with many lovely plants and trees and birds flying about. The condo office has a robust book lending library. Some units have laundry, but for those that don't there are free laundry rooms in each condo building to use by reservation for two-hour periods. Parking is easy, plentiful and free. Guests need to get a pass from the security office upon arrival. Many of the owners have been in the community for years 15 to 30 years, based on those I spoke with, and they care deeply about the community. With direct access to the beach it was such a pleasure have coffee on the deck each morning and watch the sunrise over the Sea of Cortez before either swimming laps in the pool and/or taking a long walk on the uncrowded gorgeous beach. We stayed during December so were fortunate enough to see whales and also what I think were flying manta rays. Only a ten minute drive away from downtown San Jose and about 25 minutes away from Cabo San Lucas, there are many easy choices for dinner, or you can walk to either Mama Mia's or Zipper's along the beach. Two huge grocery stores are 5 minutes away ~ La Comer and Selecto. The is also a Wal-Mart and further down the road toward Cabo, a Costco. If you are looking for a relaxing place to unwind and get away from the busyness of everyday life, this is the place. I recommend a car, but you can get away without one if you are willing to walk or take the bus. As I write this review I am sitting on the patio of our condo looking out at the Sea of Cortez and a totally deserted beach. It is heavenly. I will be finishing up my coffee in a minute and heading out for my daily walk down the beach before heading to the airport. Can't wait for our next visit to La Jolla.

We got lucky when we found this condo in the La Jolla beach apartments. The condo is well appointed with everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The view was lovely – overlooking the pools and attractive grounds and out to the ocean. It was nice being right on the beach where we could enjoy sunrises and moonrises – a novelty for us, living as we do on the US west coast. The furniture was comfortable for hanging out and reading. The kitchen was well stocked for light cooking/meal prep. The bed was comfortable. There is a refrigerated water cooler that made staying hydrated easy. Overall, we look forward to returning. The only thing missing was instructions. It wasn’t a problem – things were easy enough to figure out. Our thanks to the owners for making our week in San Jose del Cabo so comfortable. The location is pretty good. It is right on the beach. An easy walk to restaurants and grocery stores. We walked all the way into town once, but would be easier if you have access to a car.

Felt safe the entire stay. We needed to find a place to chill and unwind and that's what we did. The owner's were more than accommodating and delightful people. Chris would check on us to see if we needed anything frequently and suggest places to dine, etc. They also had a lovely wine waiting to help us unwind after our arrival. The condo had beautiful new updates and everything was fresh and clean with all necessities. I would like to mention how surprised I was at the number of restaurants with amazing food were within walking distance. Everything we needed was very close to this property. Our stay at the La Jolla condo was exactly what we were looking for. The condo was spacious and well equipped with everything you might need. The condo was in a perfect location with both pool and beautiful ocean views. We were there in July so we had the added bonus of it being pretty quiet so many times we had either pool to ourselves! We will definately come back!!

Wow! Beautiful condo with views of pool garden and ocean. Everything we needed for a great vacation: beach chairs towels umbrella patio with teak setting table and chairs barbecue, full kitchen bluetooth player and flat screen TV's. Bed was very comfortable and black out shade in bedroom made sleeping in easy.

The condo was just as described with a breath taking view from the balcony. It was very comfortable, with a BBQ and kitchen that contained everything to prepare a meal. The slide away door leaves the living room wide open for the morning sun to enter and even a curious humming bird if it so desires... Chris and Mark were very helpful with the few problems we did have. One of the biggest bonuses were Sikoro and her sisters who came in once a week to clean up and change the sheets. They would also do our laundry for a small fee. It was always so great to come back to a spotless, tidy condo. This condo is in a perfect place to explore the Cabos area. Buses running close by will take you to San Jose or Cabo San Lucas. There are also many great restaurants to chose from; many within walking distance or a short bus ride. The grounds and vegetation around the La Jolla complex are absolutely gorgeous and immaculately maintained. The beautiful long beach is great for sunbathing, watching the sun or moon rise and set and walking or jogging. We would definitely recommend this condo and hope to get a chance to return in the future. Dale and Gig.

This place was wonderful, we loved our stay here. It was so relaxing and the grounds were beautiful. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed from kitchen stuff to snorkel gear and towels and even a beach umbrella. The view was beautiful, just like the picture, almost nicer in real life. The beach is a few deeps away and this is one of the nicest beaches I've been to besides the fact you have to be careful swimming in the ocean in some areas but thats what you expect going to the cabo area. There's a great surfing beach 10 minute walk away which was a little rocky but still great. The only you downfall about this condo was the noise of the highway and the construction work behind the condo, but otherwise this place was amazing!

We stayed here for a week and could not be happier. Chris, the owner, was excellent in responding and answering our questions. The condo is nicely appointed and very clean. The views of the pool and close proximity to the ocean are first rate. La Jolla is a very friendly and quiet complex which is kept immaculate. The location is great for those who prefer San Jose del Cabo, but close enough drive to Cabo. Chris, thank you for sharing your lovely home with us for our vacation of sun, beach and relaxation. I would rent this again and recommend it for those looking for a condo to rent.

My wife and 18 month old daughter stayed at La Jolla condo for a week and could not have been happier with our stay! Chris the owner was excellent in responding to all my questions and alleviating any worries that we had prior to visiting. Not having been to Cabo before, we were a bit hesitant to rent via VRBO since you never know who you are dealing with exactly. However, I was able to call her and speak over the phone, which really helped alleviate any concerns. Chris was also very upfront about the property, as the TV was not working and there was some traffic noise, but that was not an issue as we thought it might be. TV in the bedroom worked just fine. Arriving at the condo, you get a sense of calm and peace as you look over the balcony to the ocean and see the beautiful grounds of the property. Most people there were older retirees, but all were very nice, considerate and friendly. Our goal of just relaxing, hanging out on the beach and just plain ol' doing nothing was achieved to its fullest! We couldn't have asked for a better place to call home for a week. Thank you Chris for providing such an amazing property to random people just searching for a place to escape!

This was our second time here at the condo . Our overall experience was excellent to say the least . The owners Chris / Mark are wonderful people and will assist you in any way they can .the condo is very well equipped . La Jolla condo complex is very friendly and extremely well kept by the staff . Wouldn't hesitate to tell others about it . Barb and Bob
