The apartment was very clean, comfortable and the host was very helpful. The communication with the host was very easy and she even brought us some nice delicacies. Her recommendations were excellent and we will definitely come back there!

Ordering food was a bit challenging because of the lack of numbers on the street. Of course, this is not Markelia apartment's fault.

We liked everything at Markelias apartment. Such a lovely place to stay and sadly for us we did not book it for longer. We liked apartments cleanness and everything it was organised. They provided everything for us such: washing machine, drying liner, hairdryer, iron and iron board, juice squeezer.

We didn’t like the location from the perspective that the roads were small and tight to park up.

Super friendly reception. I was with a friend who was travelling on to another apartment and Nick very kindly offered to drive him there. The home-made icecream as welcome gift in the fridge was a delicious treat. We arrived by sail boat at the D-Marin Lefkas Marina and decided to walk to the apartment as it was shown to be less than 10 minutes away on Google Maps. Unfortunately, the GPS coordinates in google are not accurate, so we had to walk around for a bit and eventually rang to get directions (we weren't far away, but got lost in some back streets). Once at the apartment and knowing the way, it was a very quick walk back to town for a nice evening meal. On the next day, Voulas very kindly ordered a taxi to take me to the airport, which arrived in under 5 mins, so the taxi drivers clearly know the place. In summary, do not trust the google maps address if arriving on foot, otherwise it is a great location - just far enough out of town to be nice and quiet, but an easy 10 minute stroll to reach the restaurants.

One room was very small and had no a/c the other room was fine.
