Die Lage ist etwas abseits, man definitiv einen Roller, den man aber am Resort mieten kann. Die Zufahrtsstraße ist offroad und dauert mit dem Roller ca. 8 Min. Mal auf die "Schnelle" zur Massge ist eher nicht. Aber der Strand ist wunderschön! Und über einen kleinen Weg durch den Wald ist man in 5 Min an der nächsten Bucht, wo es auch ein Restaurant gibt, wo man mal was trinken kann.
Preis-Leistung ist sehr gut, auch das Frühstück hat tolle Qualität und ist inkludiert. Kajak, SUP und SchnorchelnEquipment kann man dort kostenfrei ausleihen. Es ist schön angelegt und selbst als bei uns die Lagune wenig bis kein Wasser hatte, war es super schön und man konnte mit dem Kalak auch bei Ebbe ans Meer rausfahren, bzw ziehen.
Es gibt keine Liegen um am Strand zu liegen. Aber das hat uns nur im ersten Moment gestört, den ganzen Aufenthalt von 8 Tagen war das überhäuft kein Problem, wir waren eh viel unterwegs all die ganzen Strände auf der Insel zu erkunden.

I thought the property itself was beautiful. Staff was nice. Beach was clean and quiet. I liked that they had so much equipment free to use.
Property needs a little bit of maintenance (rebuilding walkways). I wish it had some sort of beach bar the ability to purchase drinks during the day. It’s set very far back in the jungle down a dirt road, which is difficult to drive on, even for experienced motorbike drivers.

Очень красивое оформление номеров, персонал отличный, все администраторы хорошо говорят по английски, не понравился вид из бунгало, попросила переселить в номер, администратор быстро все организовала, есть все для хорошего отдыха на море: коврики, маски, ласты, детские игрушки, сапы, полотенца и даже аквашузы - все бесплатно. Завтрак, который входил в стоимость довольно неплохой для небольшого отеля.
Меню в ресторане довольно скудное и только тайская кухня, ресторан работает по времени, по 2 часа только на завтрак, обед и ужин, магазинчика при отеле нет, а расположен он очень далеко от дороги, если не берете на прокат байк, то везите с собой продукты на перекус для детей. Пляж видимо к отелю не относится, по этому его не убирают.

Je suis venue dans cet hôtel pour faire une pause dans mon aventure en backpack et ça m'a fait le plus grand bien. L'hôtel est très beau, avec la vue sur la plus belle plage de l'île. Le personnel, notamment Robert, était adorable. Ils m'ont aidé à organiser la suite de mon voyage. La chambre était spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bains, et très propre !
J'ai trouvé le petit déjeuner un peu léger et le restaurant de l'hôtel un peu cher.

Widoki wspaniałe, personel wyjątkowo pomocny, czułam się ważnym gościem, starano się, aby wszystkie nasze oczekiwania były spełnione. Obsługa pełna życzliwości. Beautiful small resort built over the water. Food in the restaurant is exceptional. The staff are beyond helpful, Robert and Jane were outstanding. Beautiful outlook with beach out and another long beach less than 10 minute easy walk away.

Die Essensauswahl ist durch die Lage etwas beschränkt. Wir sind allerdings zum Nachbarresort gelaufen und waren dort etwas Abend essen. Ein Kaffee direkt bei a la Koh Kood wird gerade noch gebaut, sieht schon mal sehr einladend aus :)

The location is amazing. View of the mangrove and ocean.
You have access to the beach, the staff is very friendly, you have all the amenities you may need and the food in the restaurant is also very good.
Like others have said: the access road difficult to maneuver. But I managed to figure it out on a scooter after 1-2 tries with my girlfriend on the back seat. So it's not too bad. But if you're a bit older or less mobile then you will be more confined to the resort (which is fine cause it is lovely there).

Arriving at Koh Kood Resort is magical, you immediately feel at home and relaxed. The owner and everybody working there puts so much effort into making your stay beautiful and comfortable. The location is amazing, even more beautiful than on the pictures, with a beautiful beach. The lagoon is like a natural aquarium, you can observe lots of fishes here. The room was very nice, light and clean with a fan and AC and the bed was very comfortable. The food at the restaurant was amazing, especially the curry. Thank you very much to the whole team! Locatia este foarte frumoasa, exact ca in fotografii, bungalow-ul este spatios foarte aproape de mare (la 30m). Plaja cred ca este una din cele mai frumoase de pe insula.
Accesul cu motocicleta (si cu masina) este putin dificil. Se merge aproximativ 1km pe drum forestier, accidentat. Dusul nu este cel mai practic, insa isi face treaba, iar asternuturile nu erau clatite bine. Nu au fost schimbate pe durata sederii (3 nopti).

-Le petit déjeuner que l’on peut varier chaque jour avec une vue incroyable (idem pour les repas le midi et le soir)
-Le personnel très sympathique et souriant
-S’il faut dire quelque chose, je dirais que les bungalows mériteraient peut-être d’être un peu rafraîchis (surtout la salle de bain) mais cela ne nous a pas du tout gênés lors de notre séjour

Leider etwas verwirrte Einrichtung (Plastikschrank), in die Jahre gekommenes Equipment, die Lagune stinkt. aber blöd ist wirklich, dass man sehr abgeschnitten ist vom Rest der Insel. wäre kein Problem, wenn das Restaurant günstiger und mehr Auswahl hätte, aber so war’s halt einfach nicht okay. nach drei abenden hatten wir echt keine Lust mehr, dort zu essen. außerdem war das Frühstück eine Katastrophe

Sehr, sehr nettes Personal. Tolle Lage mit super Strand vor der Haustüre. Sehr ruhiger und schöner Gemeinschaftsbereich.
Wohneinheiten entsprechen nicht (mehr) den Fotos. Die Zimmer waren teilweise schmutzig und nicht richtig gereinigt. Bettlaken teilweise schmutzig. Wohneinheiten sehr durchIässig für Mosquitos und leider auch größere Insekten, welche gerne aus dem Abfluss kommen. Das Möbiliar ist dunkel und klobig. Es gibt wenig Ablageflächen in den Zimmern. Insgesamt nicht besonders einladend und komfortabel.
Da wir in unserem Zimmer sehr unzufrieden waren (Kakerlaken), durften wir Zimmer wechseln. Wir haben sehr viel Geld pro Nacht gezahlt und baten um eine angemessene monetäre Entschädigung. Uns wurde etwas entgegengekommen, aber nicht in dem Maße, das wir für angemessen erachteten.
Das Preis-Leistungsniveau ist überhaupt nicht angemessen. Wir verstehen die Vielzahl der Top-Bewertungen nicht. Haben schon deutlich schönere Unterkünfte in Thailand für viel weniger Geld bekommen.

De locatie en het personeel was super.
Het comfort en de prijs van het hotel is niet in balans. Wij hadden gedurende onze reis van 30 dagen betere kamers voor ongeveer 25 euro ipv 100 euro hier. In onze badkamer rook het erg zwavelachtig tot aan misselijkheid makend toe. De locatie is daar en tegen wel beter dan de de rest.
Vanuit het hotel kan je heerlijk snorkelen naar het volgende baaitje waar je ook prima kan eten en drinken.

Der Weg von der Straße zum Hotel ist lang und sehr holprig. Mit dem Roller eine Herausforderung. Unser Zimmer war sehr einfach und geschmacklos eingerichtet. Ausserdem nur ein Spiegel im Bad und keine Steckdose im Bad. Die Klimaanlage war auf das Bett ausgerichtet und tropfte des öfteren auf den Boden. Zimmerreinigung nur auf Nachfrage. Unser Zimmer lag direkt neben der Küche und ab 7 Uhr rauschte der Kanalabfluss der Küche unter unserem Zimmer durch. The Location is excellent. A small but cozy resort suitable for relaxing. The staffs are really friendly and professional. They made sure our check in and check out go smoothly. The staff phoned us in advance to make sure we are able to get to the resort correctly. The Beach here is breathtaking and not too crowded. The room is fine and has everything you need (an extra point for plenty of drinking water provided). We didn't see the need to go anywhere as the resort provide everything. The surrounding is quiet with a beautiful lagoon in the middle. Just sitting outside is very relaxing.
The walk to our room is quite far. We have to walk around the property just to get to the reception area. Some shortcut that connect the whole area would be great. The resort as a whole is quite far as well and the road is bumpy but the beach and the resort itself is really worth the journey. The breakfast and dinner choices are limited but the meal they prepared are very delicious. But all these small nitpicks didn't ruin the experience at all.

Lo staff favoloso, tutti super gentili e disponibili. La spiaggia davanti all’hotel, con acqua limpida e poco affollata rispetto a tante altre che sono meno belle ma più gettonate date la presenza di molti resort.
Top anche la possibilità di usufruire gratuitamente delle canoe. Un ringraziamento speciale anche alla receptionist, una ragazza d’oro.
Nessun punto da sottolineare qui. Unica piccola pecca è la strada per arrivare all’hotel in motorino che purtroppo non è nelle migliori condizioni.

Отель расположен в прекрасном тихом и удвоенном месте. Очень красиво и романтично. Чудесные номера и персонал. Возможность взять кайак, падлборд, маску для плавания . Рядом очень красивый пляж . Мы были без мото, поэтому просто гуляли по 3 пляжам , что не очень далеко.
Нам ,к сожалению , не понравились завтраки. 3 варианта ( омлет + 2 сосиски , тайский завтрак , или рис ) так же можно сделать тосты с вареньем , сок и фрукты. За 4 дня мы устали от этого завтрака. В ресторане тоже очень мало выбора, детей не представляю , чем там кормит , при этом цены высокие. Нас предупредили , что рядом нет магазинов и ничего, чтобы мы при желании , что то купили заранее. Дорога до отеля очень ухабистая. Если кто то берет мото.

C'est bien 3/4 nuits pour changer de l'effervescence de Bangkok mais après il faut changer car difficile de se déplacer à cause du chemin en terre
Les abords de devant l'hôtel sont en travaux et du coup le chemin qui mène aux bungalows est assez sale .
Le chemin qui mène à la plage à partir des bungalows mérite aussi d'être nettoyé.
La porte de la salle de bain intérieur est dans un salle état et devrait être repeinte à l'intérieur ..

Although the menu was not extensive, the food was delicious and they were very accommodating for allergies and special meal requests. The atmosphere was wonderful, a nice lounge to play games and relax with a great view. The short walk to the beach was really enjoyable and picturesque. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is small with not so many rooms therefore it was very quiet and chill.

The Location, felt isolated and very intimate, the design of the place was great, mangroves etc. the receptionist was very helpful
The showerhead was hanging on rubberband, the breakfast was pretty poor if you consider their impressive lunch menu; there was little choice. The cleaning was done after we asked for it, they didn’t mention that we needed to do so. Same with refilling our water.
They add service and vat fees to the restaurant bill of which is an American thing, it’s the first time we saw this in Thailand and as Europeans we don’t like these kind of things.

Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem gibt es Boote und Schnorchelausrüstung zum Ausleihen.
Etwas abgelegen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind nicht in unmittelbarer Nähe. Die super Umgebung usw. macht es allerdings wieder wett.

Die Lage ist ok. Liegt in einer kleinen Bucht mit kleinem Mangrovenwald. Kajaks und SUP kann man gratis benutzen.
Wir hatten ein extra großes Zimmer mit 42 m² gebucht, Kühlschrank, Küchenzeile, Kaffeemaschine, Minibar und Terrasse mit Meerblick. Dafür haben wir 958,21 Euro für 6 Übernachtungen bezahlt. Das sind 159,70 Euro/Nacht! Wir hatten ein einigermaßen luxuriöses Zimmer erwartet. Stattdessen mussten wir feststellen, dass es sich um ein in die Jahre gekommenes kleines Zimmer handelt mit einer Ausstattung handelt, die noch aus den 80’ern stammt. Weder hatte das Zimmer 42 m², noch entsprach auch nur eine einzige Angabe den wahren Begebenheiten vor Ort. Grob vermessen, besitzt das Zimmer ca. 20 m². Von Meeresblick kann nicht die Rede sein; Kühlschrank, Kaffeemaschine, Minibar, Fehlanzeige! Im Zimmer weder Tisch noch Stuhl. WIFI funktionierte nicht immer und auch der TV blieb schwarz, weil das Signal zu schwach war (was jetzt für uns kein ausgesprochener Minuspunkt war).
Beim Frühstück darf man nicht viel erwarten: Man kann zwar aus 3 Gerichten wählen, aber es ist jeden Morgen das Gleiche und alles recht billig, was die Zutaten anbelangt. Jetzt könnte man meinen, da es ja am Resort auch Motorroller zu mieten gibt (350 Baht), könnte man ja einfach anderswo hingelangen, aber leider ist das mit erheblichen Risiken verbunden. Man muss 2-3 km unbefestigten Weges zurücklegen, um zur Straße zu gelangen. Zwischendrin steile Anstiege oder Sandpiste, die mit den alten Rollern (die Bremsen waren ebenfalls verschlissen!) kaum zu meistern waren.
Eigentlich nennt man so etwas vorsätzlichen Betrug! In einem Gespräch mit dem Betreiber erklärte uns dieser, dass das Zimmer deshalb so teuer sei, weil angeblich Booking.com auf den Zimmerpreis noch Kosten für Marketing erhoben hätte, was uns recht unglaubwürdig erschien. Die Frage nach einer Entschädigung/Preisnachlass wurde tagelang nicht beantwortet bzw. versuchte man es auf die lange Bank zu schieben, denn irgendwann reisen ja auch unzufriedene Gäste wieder ab!
Wir empfanden unseren Aufenthalt im Resort A la Koh Kood als dreiste Abzocke!
