Simone was very kind and helped us in any way possible. The room was more than spacious and very clean. Breakfast included a lot of local products. We absolutely loved our stay and would come back!

Everything was AMAZING! The apartment was big, with a studio, a bedroom, and a wonderful terrace with a beautiful sea view. Everything was clean, and a beautiful art collection surrounded us. Simone is a wonderful host; he helped us with a lot of information about Sardinia and what to visit. Breakfast was an experience in itself. Simone introduced us to traditional Sardinian products and cookies that were delicious. He also helped us with a parasol and cooler bag for the beach. We are so happy to have stayed at Villa Arrecifes! Grazie!

If you're a couple, considering a holiday in Sardinia to explore its towns, beaches and nature, look no further. Simone's beautiful villa is unique in its architecture down to the details of the furnishings or hand-painted sea-blue tiles in the washrooms. Simone was an exceptional host, always kind and considerate, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort from breakfast preferences to dinner recommendations, as well as ensuring spotless cleanliness and sanification of rooms and common spaces to ensure full compliance with Covid regulations. Walking up to and looking out on the sea and Capo Caccia from the balcony is a wonderfully relaxing and regenerating moment to look forward to! The rooms were large and very comfortable, with closet space, a sun-room to enjoy breakfast or a glass of wine, as well as a balcony. The bathroom was also sizeable, and there was an additional (hidden) balcony with a hanger fo bathing suits an towels. The location is the small town of Fertilia, a short drive outside of the walled seaside gem of a town that is Alghero, while removed from the masses but still practical to reach for a dinner or ice-cream. It is also a short drive from a range of wonderful beaches with your pick of free beach or "lidi", as well as a number of great agriturismi for authentic locally grown and sourced meals. There are a range of wineries nearby to visit, the unique Grotte di Nettuno (well worth the steps...) and other sites of archeological interest are nearby, as is the airport (though we never heard a plane overhead with the waves and sea breeze). From Fertilia you can also easily drive to Stintino and the turquoise waters of La Pelosa beach, Sassari for a dinner or stroll, or southwards on the cliff-side road to Bosa. If you enjoy running, the many Pinete offer shaded trails even in august for a jog to the nearby stagno di Calich and old roman bridge. We truly enjoyed our stay, the facilities and the hospitality. Simone communicated all the necessary details before arrival and gave us a warm welcome. The villa is located across the street from the sea and has a large terrace. There are beautiful works by a local artist and designer furniture inside.

Older photos show a nice breakfast, but during COVID restrictions it was limited to what's put in the fridge on the terrace. The mattress transmits all movements of one person to the other one.
