Super friendly staff and everything was really clean and hygienic. Located near good restaurants, the beach in front is amazing and only a very small walk away. Very quiet and calm place. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Hard to rate. We deliberately chose a villa by the sea based on the reviews, as we wanted something clean and without insects and nice. The villa is very nice and if I had to rate the rooms separately, the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom would get 10 each. The living room would get a rating of 2. I positively evaluate the communication from the owner/person who dealt with the keys and payment with us. Also the equipment of the villa and overall the villa is very beautiful at first glance and is in a great location. The bike rental shop is right across the street

But WHAT was the biggest problem for us was INSECTS. In the chest of drawers in the living room there are terribly huge ants, which start to crawl out in the evening and spread all over the room, and when we got up in the morning, we didn't see any more. It would probably be enough to get rid of just the chest of drawers. In the morning we saw a cockroach behind the door in the living room, but we threw it out. We had a big caterpillar in the house last night of our stay there when it rained a lot. If we went to a hostel or hotel for a few dollars we would count on everything but the price of Casa Modi is many times higher than what other accommodation offers. So the cleaning should be very thorough so that this does not happen. We are very sorry, as we were really looking forward to this stay.

The hospitality was great. The unit is indoor/outdoor so you lock the bedrooms at night which was an adjustment since traveling with a child but did this as a formality. The property felt very safe. The place was clean and spacious and mostly met expectations. We are regulars to the area but this was our first time here. It may have been the time of year but the temperature was perfectly comfortable inside the rooms outside in the living room. We also did not have an issue with bugs. The beds were also very comfortable. It feels like you are staying in a town (unlike some properties that feel like you are existing in nature) but you still hear monkeys and birds in the morning. The location is perfect. Easy access to everything. There is a delicious Italian restaurant that is owned by the owner of the unit. Absolutely fabulous. Pricey but worth it (ambiance, quality, and flavor of food, and hospitality is all world-class). Please do yourself a favor and visit the restaurant. We made it a date night on our last night and it really put the finishing touches on our trip. We met the owner also he was just as friendly and helpful as the staff.

The property uses filtered city water which doesn't taste good even though it is safer to drink than most water we drink in the US and Mexico cities. Well water at surrounding properties tastes delicious so it was hard to make that switch.

it is perfectly located and very clean. The bed was perfect and it is very spacious. Next to a great Italian restaurant the Pecora Nera.

The bathroom is located next to living room and not to the main bedroom.

The place is a very nice renovated Caribbean-style house. The common area is open (kitchen fully equipped, dining table and a couch). Both rooms have king sized beds and plenty of room for the luggage. There is a closet and a small desk on them too. The AC in the rooms worked perfectly. We parked the car on the Italian restaurant nearby, which is ~20 meters away. A few days before the trip we had to modify our booking to cancel one of the rooms, and the owner was very helpful and understanding. Excellent customer service!

Check-in is at 4pm, a bit too late IMHO. We arrived at 1pm and had to go straight to the beach with all our luggage, to wait for the house to be ready.

Clean, good kitchenette, comfortable beds. Front deck on two bedroom was great. Location very good, great bakery across the street, easy drive everywhere along caribbean coast.

Ad listed playground and washer/dryer. No playground and no dryer. Outer gate easy to push open on one unit. People twice walked right into the units yard

The location is amazing, walking distance from the beach (just crossing the street) and the best restaurant in town “Pécora Nera”. Caribbean architecture with an European twist, perfectly decorated and well furnished. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

There are only 4 units and we had the 2 bedroom unit on the backside with a balcony and an open living area and kitchen. It is located within walking distance to nearby restaurants, stores, and bike rentals. There is good wifi and we were able to communicate via Whatsapp regarding any questions or issues. We rented motor bikes and were able to secure them within our gated unit. La Peco Nera restaurant on site had some of the best service and food. Our hosts during our stay were very welcoming. And lastly, we had very hot water.

I would have liked an info sheet providing more info about the town including a number to a taxi service and there wasn't a TV in our unit but neither of these things was a big issue for us. There isn't a true clothes dryer so we hung up our damp clothes to dry and it took a little extra time for cotton clothing so planning is essential. Also there wasn't a sign for the apartments so using the sign for the restaurant is imperative in locating the place.

The condo was attractive, comfortable and very clean. Joclyn was very helpful and lovely to deal with. We were in a great area of town, quiet and close to restaurants, small fruit/vegetable/baked goods stands.

Please add some beach chairs/sand chairs and beach sized towels.

Great place for the price range, across from beach, upper two bedroom unit had a beautiful balcony.

Fridge was broken & was addressed but some compensation for the groceries that we bought twice & went to waste would have been nice. Other than that host was available for contact and would provide what was needed when possible

The beds were so comfortable and the architecture throughout the apt was smart and interesting. The fans and air conditioning in the bedrooms was a huge bonus. The kitchen was well outfitted, especially with a coffee maker. We liked that the beach was right across the street.

The living room was on the street where the cars are really loud and it was so busy most of the time.
