This was our third year to rent a house in Seacrest. It was our first year not to have multiple floors. We enjoyed the first floor living and layout. It’s a very convenient location to the pool and town center. The house has a driveway- not all do. The only thing we missed was an outdoor shower. There is an outdoor spigot.

We really enjoyed our seven day stay at this property. The neighborhood pool was 10/10 and the tram service to the beach was consistent/quick. You can walk to many restaurants and shops as well. We would definitely stay in this area again. The only drawback was the size of the private beach. Maybe we went on a really busy week, but it was PACKED.

Let me start off by saying this was an excellent week to be vacationing at Seacrest Beach and 30A. Even though it was Easter Week and Spring Break for some, it was not too crowded. The location of the house was excellent and convenient to the Seacrest Beach shops and restaurants and a close walk or bike ride to Rosemary Beach and Alys Beach. The tram stop is located right in front of the house and the tram service was very responsive when called for a quick ride to and from the beach. The tram drivers do accept tips and very much appreciated, so just make sure you have small bills or you are able to use Venmo. The beach is within walking distance if you don't have many things to carry. The swimming pool for the community is a short walk from the house. We will spend more time at the pool the next trip we plan. The only time I needed to communicate with the Host was when she sent check-in information about a week prior and then info about the bikes. Information provided was very detailed about the house, the community, and the beach umbrella services available for your stay. So, the location and host communication were excellent. The house itself was a little disappointing upon arrival. I agree with an earlier review that the house needs a deep cleaning, especially on the outside. The front doors are in need of paint. The far right screen on the front of the house is torn half way up as well as other screens on the house. The woven wood shades on the inside were in need of replacement. The one on the front door was not fully functional. The backing on the shades were dry rotted with holes and easily seen from the outside. The air return vent was extremely dirty and the filter was black. I changed the filter while there with a new one located in the master bedroom closet. The covers were suppose to be new, but already had stains and a sweaty odor to them. One of the 2 front porch lights was out, along with a bathroom light. I think a lot of this comes down to the cleaning service provider. The service is not providing the host/owner with quality service. The house was the perfect size for a family of 3. The floor plan is open and spacious. This house could be a great vacation home with a few upgrades and better cleaning service.

Pros: Overall location was fantastic - walkable, bikeable, “tram” to the beach. The owners were good about the little communication we actually needed and explained everything easily and in advance. It was nice to have adult bikes and lock provided we only rented kids bikes and helmets. Kitchen supplies were plentiful enough to cook almost anything with (bring your own spices only s&p available). Loads of bath towels and a few beach towels were included. The porch and chairs were fantastic for even rainy days. Cons: The house itself really needs some basics like a better cleaning company *especially* for one of the highest cleaning fees I’ve ever seen. There were hairs everywhere, the master shower had dried scum still in it. Several drawers/shelves had sticky residue in the bathroom and kitchen. It could use new couch cushions, new mattresses, and new curtains. The main bed was springy like crazy, one of the bunk beds has an impressive slant to it. The curtains especially in the kids room the backing is broken and they block almost no light. So don’t think of sleeping in. Also, the chests of drawers (in every room but kids room was the worst) are all but impossible to use without breaking them, the drawers don’t open without a fight. The tub in the master bath is missing a jet. Things we bought more of included toilet paper as we were given 3 rolls for a family of 4 for a week. We really only needed one more. Overall: I would come back to this location but, I’m not sure I would rent this particular house again without some necessary improvements. Hosts did seem to care so I hope they can make the changes needed to make this a great property.

Comfortable and clean. A five minute walk to the pool and 10 minutes to shopping, food and the beach! You get all the pleasures and amenities of the Rosemary Beach subdivisions for half the price!

Beautiful home and the perfect vacation retreat for our family of four. There was plenty of space for the four of us (2 adults, 2 kids ages 13 & 7) and we would have had room to accommodate another family. The location is perfect, close to the pool and a quick jump on the tram to the beach right in front of the house. The community is great and we had everything we needed for the week. Great restaurants, cafes and shops are within walking distance so we really didn’t have to get in our vehicle this week. We had such a wonderful time staying here and hope to be back very soon.

This home was a great space for our family of 5 (although it could comfortably accommodate more people)! The layout in the living space/kitchen/eating areas was open and spacious. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed. It was clean and had all the linens we needed. Since we were here during a tropical storm, we spent a good bit of time in the house. I give the house a perfect 5!! The Seacrest Community pool was amazing! It got crowded pretty early, so we tried to get there at 9am when it opened. That way we could get a set of chairs together, near the water. This was easy for us, because we tend to be early risers. Highly recommend the pool! The owners were great to communicate with and we had no problems that needed resolved during out stay. Our one frustration with our stay was the EXTREMELY crowded beach. It was frustrating that a large portion of the water front is contracted out to chair rental companies, so if you bring your own chairs you are stuck in a very small portion of Seacrest's beach. You cannot move to the left or right of the stairs down to the beach, because those areas are reserved for chair rentals or private spaces. We went to the beach 1 time during the day and left after 15 minutes. We literally could not make a path from the boardwalk stairs to the water without stepping over people. We had never traveled to 30A before, but we had heard so much about the white, sugary beaches and beautiful blue waters. We did not get to experience that because of the overcrowding. We did go to the beach after dinner when it was less crowded, and we spent an evening at the Deer Lake state park beach. The beach issue is why I rated the "location" as a 3. If you have been to 30A and know what to expect, then the beach crowds may not surprise you. With that in mind, overall, I would encourage you to rent this fabulous house!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was very comfortable and clean. It was an easy walk to the pool and the tram stop is right outside the door to get to the beach. We made food use of the kitchen. It there were also several places nearby to eat as well. It was also a very friendly area.

We enjoyed this house. It was perfect for our needs and the sea crest location is awesome, sandwiched between alys and rosemary. We tried the local pool but it was a bit colder than we could take at this time of year. Home is Comfortable and the kitchen had the necessities.. worked well for us!
