Lovely place for a short break.

Lovely help yourself breakfast with a range of cereals fruit, bread and toast. Great coffee machine. Pretty location just a few km out of Whangārei .

Peaceful and comfortable

Peaceful, great surroundings. Very clean and comfortable . Lorraine was very friendly, took the time to show me around and made sure I had everything I needed.

Fabulous restful 3 nights.

A wonderful welcome to a beautiful garden & lovely room. Comfortable beds & well appointed bathroom. Loved the breakfast- more than we expected. We would definitely stay here again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our one-night visit, and would have loved to stay longer.

The setting and accommodations were lovely, clean and comfortable, the hosts were friendly and informative, and the breakfast was tasty. Very nice.

Great place and location!

Super friendly hosts! The rooms are very large with a very comfortable bed. The breakfast was also great and they catered to my gluten allergy by providing gluten free cereal and bread!! This was very appreciated as we had to leave early for a day tour so it was important to get a good meal first! Highly recommend if looking to stay in the area! It also has free parking!

We loved the location, the host Loraine was very friendly too and our room was beautiful clean with a fresh feeling in the air.

This is a great location halfway between the town centre and the beach. It’s a peaceful rural setting with very friendly hosts. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with everything we needed. The breakfast was great with plenty of variety and good coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

Would have preferred tea/coffee facilities in the room, rather than having to go into the communal areas late at night etc.

Peace and comfort

Gerald and Lorraine made us so welcome. We had our 1955 BSA motorbike with us, and they helped getting the bike on and off the trailer and let us keep it in his garage. We really appreciated their help and the good chats with fellow enthusiasts. The accommodation was warm and clean with a fabulous shower and hot water. We really needed that after getting cold on the bike! As well as the spacious bedroom and bathroom, you have a living area and kitchen shared with the other guestroom. There is coffee and tea and cookies available all the time and a delicious breakfast.

Lovely host. Nice room, with a big shower. Good waterpressure. Continental breakfast was available in separate dining/living room. Good wifi. We had a very nice stay.

Rooms were immaculate. My mother and I were traveling - we had a room each. In both cases faultless. Rooms were clean, quiet, comfortable and finished to the highest standard.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. It was a continental style breakfast, which was fine and as expected. However a choice of fruit (we had peaches only) would have been nice. Also I was a little confused about the fresh fruit offered - three bananas and two kiwifruit were hard to divide between the four guests staying. Hard luck if we all wanted a banana
