When we saw the house for the first time in the sunshine, it was perfect

The owners were very friendly and serviceminded and breakfast buffet was nice although it was not really enough for the amount of guests that had breakfast at the same time. Lovely breakfast room and the bedroom was lovely furnished. The view and environment was lovely, countryside and not too far from nearest town.

It was a bit "outdated" and not very well kept. When entering the premises and the garden it felt a bit shabby. One very tiny toilet was to be shared with all guests, this night it was: 6 adults and 4 children. One towel was in the toilet and no paper towels and almost out of soap. Cleaning was not very thorough. The rooms were situated on the second floor and it was not much room in the social areas. Kitchen facilities was ok. I do not think that the rooms, and facilities were not nearly "corona-safe". The doors to the bedrooms was not soundproof at all and when closed it was very disturbing when people in the social area was talking, even though they tried to talk with low voices. Although I really liked the surroundings and the owners, the price was too high for the standard.
