Just 5 minutes drive from the Lost Gardens of Heligan and 20 minutes drive from the Eden Project. Old, very beautiful annex "The Homestead", 2 storeys, semi-detached, built in 1830. 200 m from the sea, in a cul-de-sac. Parking. Shop, grocery, bar 400 m, bus stop 500 m, railway station "St Austell" 17 km. Golf course (9 hole) 12 km. Please note: car recommended. 2-room semi-detached house on 2 levels. Very cosy furnishings: living/dining room with TV. Open kitchen (oven). Shower/WC. Electric heating. Upper floor: 1 double bedroom with 2 beds. Small patio. Terrace furniture. Beautiful view of the sea. Facilities: washing machine, dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: not suitable for small children. Non-smoking house. If the property is not left in clean conditions there will be a charge of £40. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Vermieter wohnten direkt neben uns, das Cottage war liebevoll eingerichtet, haben uns mit Insider- Informationen sehr gut geholfen und haben uns freundlichst aufgenommen und integriert.

Excellent accommodation, perfect setting near to beach and centre of village, off street parking on site very nice small garden to use, all in all a very good holiday let.

We had such a lovely time in Gorran Haven. The house is lovely, very comfortable, quiet, with an amazing view to the sea and perfectly located at walking distance to beaches, beautiful coastal walks and amenities. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hosts: they gave us such a warm welcome, even as we arrived at a very inconvenient time, and took us to their beautiful allotment and shared so many stories - and flowers. We'd have just loved to be able to spend more time with them.

Lovely place, amazing hosts
We had such a lovely time in Gorran Haven. The house is lovely, very comfortable, quiet, with an amazing view to the sea and perfectly located at walking distance to beaches, beautiful coastal walks and amenities. But the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hosts: they gave us such a warm welcome, even as we arrived at a very inconvenient time, and took us to their beautiful allotment and shared so many stories - and flowers. We'd have just loved to be able to spend more time with them.

This home was fantastic, very quaint , lots of character, lovely people who owned it were so kind to us and very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this place to stay ( not for disabled people with limited mobility) 10 out of 10 for us

Friendly hosts, superb position within close proximity to lovely beach and village. Rather overpriced though for a small cottage, when expected to thoroughly clean before leaving.

Only negatives for us was the inconvenience of the sink being in a separate area from the kitchen..
We would also have liked bigger bowls for our cereals
The shower head was positioned so low even I strudggled to wash my hair..no hope for my very tall husband plus would have liked a bigger shower head

Being able to access the cliff paths from the house was my desire so this little cottage was perfect for glorious walks in both directions and also a visit to Heligan. Great location and ideal for a single traveller or couple. Clean and thoughtfully organised around an appropriate naval theme ( ‘Cap’n coming aboard!’ one of us, climbing the staircase would call as the other provided an approximation of the naval whistle.) The beds are extremely comfortable!

Me and my wife spent part of our honeymoon here and loved it! A very nice little village and the cottage is just a 2 minutes walk from the sea. You do need a car though if you are to be able to get away from the village, there are poor public communications. The hosts were amazing! They took care of us in the best possible way and we felt more like part of the family than guests. We strongly recommend this place!
