Das kleine Hotel liegt sehr schön in der Nähe des Hafens und die Endstation der Metro ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt. So kann man bequem die höher gelegene Altstadt erreichen oder auch direkt vom Hotel schön in östlicher Richtung (nach Pully) direkt am Genfer See spazieren.
Das an das Hotel angeschlossene „Restaurant du Port“ ist zu empfehlen, vor allem die gebratenen Perches (Filets kleiner Barsche), die meliert gebraten und mit Kartoffeln oder Frites serviert werden.
Die Ventilation im Badezimmer lässt sich nicht ausstellen, sondern wird gegen 22:00 Uhr zentral abgestellt.

Location of the hotel is great, next to the lake and with access to the different types of the public transport. Room size was good, booked suite at the top floor. Restaurant downstairs offers good choice of local dishes.

Hotel has an excellent position and very convenient for us to visit our son and his family in pulley.excellent staff and very comfy room with a great view.
Would like a kettle in the room to make an early morning tea/coffee.

The location is superb, only a few minutes walk from the train station and Lake Geneva is right in front of the hotel. Even the hotel looks old but it has been well maintained.

Excellent location for sightseeing, car parking nearby, bus stop, metro all within walking distance, the hotel handed us a free travel pass which was a bonus, staff were friendly and very helpful, a large variety of food available at breakfast.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been a nice addition

This hotel has a fantastic location on the lake at Ouchy so there was a beautiful view from the windows. Our room was very comfortable and we slept really well. Breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly. Very clean. Free pass for the metro is a bonus too.
Would have loved a coffee machine in the room and some water or a minibar

The location was nice - my room had full lake view - and convenient for using public transport (only 2' walking from Ouchy metro and bus stops).
Lights in the room were insufficient. Soundproofing of the room could be improved.
Customer service was rather poor: nobody picking up the phone at the reception in the early evening, and nobody showing up at the desk for 10' even after ringing the bell...

Large room. Near the lake
No kettle in the room. The cleaning lady started to hoover at 8:00 am on Sunday morning... We would have appreciated a more quiet atmosphere

location, breakfast by the lake
some noise in back the evening. I chose rear facing rooms for quiet but there was noise from the back of the restaurant. didn’t go very late thankfully. had I known the street in front would be closed off for the holiday and therefore quiet, I would definitely have chosen lake view rooms!

The location is fantastic right on the Geneva lake and a park a few minutes away, Access to the metro which connect to the railway in ten minutes, buses. The hotel deliver a free transportation pass for bus, metro and trains (distance limited on the train).Possibility to swim in the lake ,children attractions near by. You might board a boat at 7 PM for a diner at St Sulpice or Morges and come back a couple of hours later.

Lovely staff, comfortable beds, a good breakfast, and an excellent location made Hotel du Port a great choice for our weekend in Lausanne. Would definitely stay here again.

Road traffic a bit load but that’s the price of location.
