Passage way carpets threadbare and paintwork dirty and needs improvement. Breakfast I was told was at 7am but nobody there so I didn't bother

Everything was fantastic. The location, the food, the room and lovely staff. Amazing little place. Right by the river.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast was tasty.

I was excited about my stay as I had booked a suite and could see the views were amazing. When I entered the very dated room the musty smell was quite repulsive. The bed was clean but several surfaces were thick with dust. I did not have the option of going elsewhere so I asked for some fresh air spray at reception and told them the room stank. No apology, I was looked at as though I was lying and handed an air deodoriser. I was able to cope with the smell enough to fall asleep but woke at 3am and spent some time sitting outside, I did not sleep again. When I arrived at work and told colleagues where I stayed everyone laughed, apparently many of the management team had stayed there once and never returned. One colleague had even walked out due to the volume of dead flies in her room. Do not stay in the bungalows, they should not be let to anyone, especially at a price of £130. Never again.

The evening meal was very nice with cheerful staff. Location was lovely.

Photos showed a swimming pool but it was empty and looked like it needed an upgrade The hotel was in desperate need of new carpets and decoration. It was shabby. The beds didn’t have headboards. Our daughters room didn’t have a hair dryer

Breakfast was excellent. Room and en suite were big. Setting was amazing.

Carpet in communal areas. The hotel is obviously being refurbished and some areas are still a bit run down. We had two rooms, one of which was a newly decorated one with lovely views of the river, hopefully all the rooms will end up like this.

The hotel is a tiny bit outdated but the rooms were lovely and modern

Loved the location, right on the banks of the Thames with easy access to the Thames Path. Warm welcome at reception when we arrived. Very helpful staff. We stayed on half board basis and the evening meals were excellent. Good cooked breakfast available too. Our room had a good comfy bed and the shower was great.

We understand that refurbishment is being done and when it is done the corridors will be much better

The chef provided excellent food.

Bedroom well equipped and comfortable except for limited clothes storage.

The location the quality of the room . Exceptional friendly staff nothing too much trouble would definitely stay again and more nights next time

Good dinner and breakfast and a spacious, comfortable room/bathroom with good facilities. Nice to have a table and 2 armchairs.

Unfortunately, the TV in our room didn't work - not a big issue for us and I reported it when we left.

The location was lovely

Absolutely freezing!! and no action taken to try to improve things despite me travelling with a 1 year old. we all had to try to sleep in coats. Also extremely loud if any kind of event is happening and very run down everywhere. Breakfast was basic and cheap.

Bathroom wasn't very clean (work boot footprints on the floor tiles), rain head shower only had about 6 holes working, scalding water extremely dangerous, aborted shower for this reason (room16)

Scalding shower, no warning water would be so hot and very difficult to turn off due to tap location.

We requested a quiet room and got it.lovely location just right for our needs . The food was good . Staff helpful

Nice location and easy to find, parking available but at a small additional fee. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Ideal for my needs as travelling for work.

Free parking or at least included in the price although I can understand the need to keep spaces in the car park for hotel guests. The lights in the room were a bit dim at night. Neither were an issue that would stop me form staying again.

Shabby throughout externally and internally looks neglected. Room smelt of damp although was clean and tidy

It was a bit chilly, but this is absolutey understandable in the present circumstances of high energy prices. I'd rather a cool room than none at all.
