Ein sehr schöner Kurzurlaub. Ich komme gerne wieder.

Ein sehr schönes gemütliches ruhiges Hotel mitten in der Fußgängerzone mit gelungenem Ambiente zwischen „alt und neu“. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet, das Frühstück hervorragend und das Personal ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.

Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Insgesamt sehr gut, aber es gibt Zimmer zum Innenhof mit einer Geräuschkulisse

Das sehr freundliche Personal an der Rezeption.

Mein Zimmer lag zum Innenhof, wo sich irgendein Gebläse befindet, das bei offenem Fenster meinen Schlaf sehr beeinträchtigt hat.

Schöne,erholsame,krafttankende 5 Tage im Hotel Gutenberg

Herzlicher Empfang,gute kräftige heiße Dusche,helles Zimmer durch grosse Fenster,funktionierende Heizkörper die schnell aufheizen,Bett mit Matratze für mich gut,geräuscharme Unterkunft,gutes WLAN,alle Fernsehprogramme störungsfrei empfangen,Lage ideal für Bahnreisende,das Meer vor der Türe,genau wie der Bäcker.

Mir fehlte ganz klar eine Kaffeestation,oder mindestens ein Wasserkocher auf dem Zimmer,gerade im Winter zum Tee aufbrühen.Ein Schminkspiegel,Schuhlöffel,ein weiteres Kopfkissen wäre perfekt.

Although it is a great location. I would not stay there again until the WiFi is fully functional.

Overall the hotel is in a great location within quick walking distance to train station and beach right in the center of the town. The breakfast was pretty decent. The rooms were also fine.

WiFi was a complete disaster. The hotel has dead spots and we could not pick up the WiFi signal in the room. It worked in the hallway and the breakfast area, but it was really annoying that we could not get a signal in the room. We had to get out of the room to make Voip calls. The morning front desk attendant agreed that I can switch rooms after other guest moved out after lunch time. Unfortunately, the afternoon front desk attendant was unwilling or too lazy to switch us around. She instead recommended that we should stay the next time at another hotel.

The seagulls were a bit noisy but nothing to do about it in a coastal town.

We would definitely stay again, we felt really comfortable.

We booked the hotel mainly because of its convenient location and we were not disappointed. It is very central, but quiet at night (apart from sea gull noises which are normal when you stay at the sea side). It has a nice, quiet atmosphere and the rooms are nice.

Excellent location Good Breakfast Room Size good .....it was warm so we kept the window towards teh street open hence noisy.

Nothing to be disliked. I liked the politeness and helpfulness of the receptioninst.

A peaceful and centralized hotel to return.

We liked all.. Thank you.

Every thing was great! The only thing that perhaps could be improved is the little soap bar (by the way, after many, many years I see one!), for 3 days and 2 nigths, it is a waist, maybe liquid soap would be better. Just a constructive opinion..

I enjoyed my stay at this good hotel

good location close to railway station and in the main pedestrian street of Westerland nice building (I loved the winding corridors) room was quiet, spacious and clean bed was comfy wifi worked well

Awesome location. Cant beat it. The staff was great. Would definitely come back. Loved SYLT.

Rooms to the pedestrian zone are a bit louder with street noise, but all in all ok.

In the middle of things

It is a wonderful room, rather spacious and nice. Right in the middle of things, close to the beach.

The room gives to a rooftop, so the view is not really nice, there is no lobby.

Location (1-2 Minutes from the beach, 7 Minutes from the trainstation, right in the middle of the citycenter), Price, Room cleanliness, quiet, uncomplicated check-in/check-out,free wifi.

Nice hotel in the center

Very good location right next to restaurants and bars and only a few minutes from the beach. Friendly and welcoming staff. Would definitely come back.

It can be a bit noisy from the bars in the street but it wasn’t a big problem.

Very central location in Westerland and close to the beach. Clean rooms. Probably good value given that I spent the night there during a particularly high-demand high season.

Rather unflexible check-in process and in some aspects very dated or basic facilities (e.g., shower, pillows). Slow Wi-Fi.
