An Excellent Hotel

Excellent breakfast, Chef superb, good location and very friendly staff. One of the best Scandic Hotels we have stayed in.

Would have given a 10 if it had on site parking.

Superb

The hotel is in a beautiful location and had amazing breakfast with something for everyone. Our family of 5 could easily fit into the large room.

We slightly missed a hotel parking, even if we found free parking nearby. Dinner in the hotel would have been nice after a day of hiking.

No parking provided by the hotel - local parking only free at night. A common problem in Norway.

Beautiful views, willl be back in September for the Northern Lights.

The location is stunning! We were given a nice room with an amazing view of the fjords. The breakfast at the hotel was exceptional! Staff were amazing. You need to pay for parking outside but the rates are very reasonable and it’s only 9-5 Monday to Friday. Free at weekends but might be busier.

Bed was very small and only one pillow each but it was good.

Very nice breakfast. Good location.

Very overpriced (NOK 2600/night). Had at least expected a comfortable chair, tea making possibilities, and a larger bathroom for such a price. Also disappointing that the hotel did not have a restaurant.

Exceptional

Breakfast was top notch, friendly staff that took the time to answer my questions about the area, walking distance to a few excellent restaurants. The bathtub in my room was a welcome change from most European shower stalls. Scandic has my business if they have a location where I am staying.

Great!

The floor heating in the bathroom, excellent breakfast, but most of all the excellent room with a view towards the sea. We saw the northern lights directly from our window!

Great breakfast including gluten free options. Comfortable beds. Dark room ... Good for sleeping during midnight sun! Spacious room with fridge.

A bit dated. Would have appreciated a kettle for tea and coffee.

No hotel parking, although there were spaces available. In Honningsvag, we had a Scanic parking pass.

Beautiful view of the sea

The bathroom is very small. The wc is almost under the washing basin and you have to play tetris to sit on it. Housekeeping came a 0845 to clean the room, which I found too early. So ensure to put the do not disturb sign on the door

The chocolate cake/brownie cake for dessert did not taste good and was very raw.

The cleaning was poor. The nightstand was not cleaned before we came and not cleaned during the stay.. I payed for a queen bed, there was not anyone left. I was suppose stay there for 5 days and expected more.

Exceptional

georgous breakfast with a lot of variety, I never saw fresh passion fruit on any of my trips of a breakfast buffet Hotel is right at the harbour and the royal and ancient icebearclubben, only minites from the cathedral (try to get inside for really good pictures)

The best Scandic hotel, I propably ever visited

Perfect location in the Center of Hammerfest. Spacy and comfortable room,clean and well equiped. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Easy to park with reasonable price just behind The corner. Good bed.
