We purposely picked a room at the back ie No view to the beach. This was a good move as we had a lovely large balcony without the heat and noise. It was not a price decision.

It’s basic. I couldn’t understand why the price is so much more expensive for a third person in the room. Very little if no facilities in room - no glasses for example and one staff member moaned when I asked for a couple of wine glasses for the room. No fridge.

Hotel Mirimar has a good location with great views overlooking the Marina in beautiful Port de Soller Mallorca and near a stop to take the quaint victoriana train on a stop to the historic town of Soller. The rooms are nicely laid out with great air conditioning, wonderful with high temperatures we experienced. Breakfast was good and nice to have the choice to eat outside under canopy. There is good bar and food service to guests and others immediately outside hotel but also nearer the Marina inder palm trees. There is a good beach nearby too.

Shame no pool, but great beach 1 minute away. Rlectric kettle for teas/coffees in room has no plug nearby so had to use floor level plug. The TV has no channels in English not even a News Channel. Difficult to take your breakfast plates outside due to 3 steps, which a problem if elderly or a bit infirm as we were. One member of Staff,Elena was very helpful delivering our food to our outside table

I really liked the hotel! Beautiful, interesting interiors, amenities, proximity to the beach, transport. Watching the wooden tram from the balcony. Felt at home.

The Miramar is in a great location, right on the beach. Sadly the weather wasn't good so the balcony didn't get used :(

A small room without a balcony at a very high price. Very uneven service. After a late arrival in Soller, we were refused a request to buy wine, even though there were hotel guests in the restaurant. The next day it was no longer a problem, but so were other staff. Breakfast average, but good coffee in the bar next door.

The hotel is very centrally located in front of the beach and port. Within a few minutes walk of the restaurants and bars, the taxi rank is a 2 minute walk and bus stop is 5 minutes. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The breakfast buffet was fine, served hot and cold food.

The rooms were quite basic, there was no fridge in the room and not much sound-proofing.

A beautiful room with a terrace overlooking busy port Soller, with the sun all day and very clean. Friendly staff and a good shower. I was very happy here. I could sit on the balcony and look at the world go by. I will come again.

The breakfast is not great. Dry pastries, old bacon and eggs, no toaster when I was there and disappointing coffee. I settled on cereal with warm milk and nice glass of orange juice, before heading out to get better coffee elsewhere.

Fantastic setting and a great bar/food as part of the hotel. Right on the sea front so exactly where you may want to be!

The miramar hotel absolutely shocking leaks in rooms after breakfast plates etc not cleaned away properly the bar top was always covered in dirty glasses slow service the only person was the blonde girl on reception was really good couldn't apologise enough the barman became the caretaker who tried to convince my sister the leaks had stopped when they hadn't eventually got a change of room someone seriously needs to get this hotel sorted out because port de soller is a fantastic place to visit would definitely not recommend Hotel miramar

The location was superb. Breakfast was very good although the same every day. The beds and pillows very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was really good and the shower was powerful. We felt very safe

There were no drawers, fridge or chair in the room. No parking at the hotel, free local parking was over full some days.

Very little - it was a poorly run Hotel. The breakfast area adequate but the quality of food was not very good. The tables felt unclean and the area around seemed all so very tired. The receptionists were very good and helpful as well as the breakfast manager. Air conditioning worked, sheets were clean. The best part was its location - right next to the sea edge and easy access to the beach and the beachfront.

The staff (with the exception of the receptionists and the Breakfast manager) were not friendly to guests. The bar area was frankly disgusting, with a constant mess of dirty glasses and plates. The room was dirty, the cupboard door had a huge hole in it where someone had bashed it and damaged it - it was not fixed. The bathroom sink was hanging off the wall very precariously and although I mentioned it to maintenance, nothing was done. The shower area was so small (we are average sized people) that one kept knocking your elbows on the tap. The entire Hotel felt tired and run down and needed some desperate refurbishment particularly at the price they were charging. Had there been reviews such as my honest one here, we would never have booked this hotel.

- The breakfast isn't great but it was adequate. I didn't have breakfast included in my package and on the penultimate day I decided to eat breakfast elsewhere. There are so many options on your doortstep that it really isn't a big deal.

Great location, next to beach and in the centre of town. Staff very helpful and friendly. Beds were made daily and the rooms were kept clean. Breakfast was plentiful and included hot food as well as a continental selection. The lady who prepares the breakfast was particularly helpful and friendly. The en suite was clean and modern with power shower. Good value for money in a classy location.

Only minor points of a few superficial marks on the doors and woodwork. The air conditioning took an hour or so to make a difference.
